Tetta Kisaki is the main antagonist of the series and the mastermind behind the corruption of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He was also the one that planned out every conflict that happened. Before he was fired, Kisaki was the 3rd Division Captain and held a lot of influence within Toman.

Kisaki isn’t physically fit, but his unique and logical way of thinking makes him move forward in life. His clever plans are very well laid out and in fact, they take place at very unexpected times.

Kisaki is so good at manipulating people to the point where every time Takemichi went back to the future he was there! He even used Izana Kurokawa and Kakuchou as pawns (Chapter 134). Kisaki takes everything to a whole new creepy level, sheesh talk about obsessive.

But the tough guy met his fate after getting rammed under a truck (Chapter 185). Truck-kun strikes again! This time let’s hope Kisaki stays dead and doesn’t get Isekai’d to another world.

Takemichi Hanagaki is the main protagonist of the series and became the 1st Division Captain. On top of that, he’s a time-traveler! I’m getting a lot of Steins; Gate vibes here folks! His life is full of adventure, success, and a lot of pain. Takemichi started his journey as a coward who didn’t want to get involved in any fights. But as time passed by, he slowly got stronger but most of the time he’s just a very durable punching bag.

One of Takemichi’s goals is to become the head of Toman and change it from within (Chapter 36). This eventually happened as he became the 1st Division Captain but instead of destroying Toman, he supported it and did his very best to make it go down the right path.

Takemichi isn’t that strong when it comes to fighting even at the later parts of the series. But do you know what he’s good at? YES! It’s getting his butt kicked! His durability is insane to the point where he didn’t even stop standing back up after Kakuchou beat the heck out of him! (Chapter 165). Every time he stands back up, Toman’s morale goes through the roof.

As mentioned earlier, Takemichi is also a time-leaper. He has the ability to travel through time and change the future! He can literally destroy Toman or make it grow even bigger. If Takemichi only had Kisaki’s manipulation skills, we might have the ultimate villain in front of us.

21. Yuzuha Shiba

Yuzuha Shiba is the sister of Taiju Shiba and Hakkai Shiba. In a sense, she’s very daring and isn’t afraid to risk her life. This is because she is the one who protects Hakkai from Taiju’s domestic abuse. I don’t know why Hakkai didn’t have a sister-complex after everything she did.

After getting harassed day by day by Taiju, Yuzuha became very strong-willed. As she experienced daily abuse, Yuzuha slowly built up her physique to the point where she even landed a kick against Inui who was holding a knife! (Chapter 79). Yuzuha took a step and fought against her elder brother, who’s the former leader of Black Dragons meanwhile Takemichi was shivering with fear after observing his strength! (Chapter 80)

Well, if you’re fighting against Taiju, don’t expect to come out on top. After she tried to stab him, she flew away with just 1 punch! (Chapter 95). Bring out the crab and platypus with the submachine guns and let’s smoke Taiju!

20. Nobutaka Osanai

Nobutaka Osanai is the former 8th president of Moebius. Moebius is a gang that is two generations older than the Toman. Osanai was involved with Moebius and Toman’s first confrontation as well as Draken’s death in an alternate timeline.

Osanai is strong when it comes to fighting. He has a bit of experience when it comes to Boxing where he overpowered Pah-Chin during their fight (Chapter 15).

During his fight against Pah-Chin, Osanai quickly evaded his punches and launched counterattacks that made Pah-Chin’s face bleed with just a few hits (Chapter 15).

But we all know that the first villain that appears in any anime doesn’t really last long. This was proven when Takemichi and Naoto went on an investigation about Draken’s death. They found Osanai working at a construction company, looking all gloomy. Talk about how the mighty have fallen. His entire life was ruined after Draken died (Chapter 13).

19. Chifuyu Matsuno

Chifuyu Matsuno is the 1st Division Vice-Captain and one of the few people who knows about Takemichi’s time-leaping secret. Despite being Takemichi’s closest ally, they’re very different. I think opposites do attract. Hold your horses! Don’t go thinking about some Yaoi fantasy chief!

Unlike Takemichi, Chifuyu isn’t afraid to get into violent situations. Even after he was beaten to a pulp by Baji, he still managed to stay strong and determined (Chapter 41). A lot of best boy energy is coming out from this guy!

As a middle-schooler, Chifuyu is stronger than everyone at his school. He easily became the top fighter and even his seniors were afraid of picking a fight against him (Chapter 67). His loyalty to Toman, Takemichi, and Baji are also top-notch making him the best right-hand man.

Chifuyu is present in all of Toman’s fights and even if he isn’t the strongest, just like his current Captain, Takemichi, he’s willing to fight head-on. He was with Takemichi in the past and future. If you want a loyal man, Chifuyu is definitely the number one candidate.

18. Seishu Inui

Seishu Inui or Inupi used to be the Attack Guard Captain of the tenth generation Black Dragons. He’s currently the vice-captain of the Black Dragons under Takemichi. If Chifuyu screams “best boy”, then Inui is the ultimate Black Dragons fanboy.

He was affiliated with Manjiro’s brother, Shinichiro Sano who took him in for his humble attitude and strength. And by the time he wanted to join the gang, Izana Kurokawa took him in during the 8th Generation. However, he’s later on under the leadership of Takemichi Hangaki in the 1st Division of Toman.

Before Takemichi became the 11th Generation Leader of the Black Dragons, Seishu Inui served under Taiju Shiba. During the incident on Christmas Eve, Inui knocked out Mitsuya by smacking him in the head with a metal rod (Chapter 97). After the event, he cut all ties with Taiju and fought with Toman against Tenjiku. He probably has more character development than some other characters in the series.

17. Shuji Hanma

Shuji Hanma was the temporary leader of Moebius during their fight against Toman and later on, becomes the alleged leader of Valhalla. He is the right-hand man of Kisaki Tetta and supports him a lot. This is because Kisaki never bores him and being with Kisaki is always full of surprises.

Shuji Hanma is surely one of the strongest characters in the series. We have seen him stopping Manjiro’s leg attack with his arms (Chapter 27). I have to say that he’s one of the most badass characters in the series.

Draken even called him Zombie because no matter how many kicks and punches he takes, he doesn’t get knocked out (Chapter 180). In most of Toman’s fights where Hanma was present, he always fought against Draken but he could somehow go toe-to-toe with him.

Hanma’s endurance and willpower are about the same as Takemichi but the upper hand he has against someone like Takemichi is that he actually knows how to fight. And that’s important if you’re a delinquent.

16. Takashi Mitsuya

Takashi Mitsuya is one of the strongest characters in Tokyo Revengers. He’s the Second Division Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Mitsuya is also one of the founding members of Toman.

As the Second Division Captain, Takashi Mitsuya has some powerful punches and excellent skills when it comes to fighting. However, he is pretty smart and chooses to avoid violence if possible.

Despite his caring and positive nature, Mitsuya is ready to get his hands dirty. He was present in the fight against Moebius and Valhalla but his most memorable moment was during the Christmas Incident. Mitsuya fought against Taiju Shiba one-on-one and managed to trade blows with him (Chapter 97). Imagine trading blows with a giant like Taiju, it’s like if Pikachu went against Charizard.

Even after he got hit in the head with a metal rod, he stood back up and continued to fight against the Black Dragons and Taiju (Chapter 98). This goes to show just how strong Mitsuya is.

15. Nahoya Kawata "Smiley"

Nahoya Kawata or Smiley is the Fourth Division Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang. His twin brother is Souta Kawata who’s always angry. However, these brothers are very different from one another. Smiley always has a smile on his face even if he’s about to murder someone. That’s gotta be one of the most unique character traits in anime. Even Goku stops smiling when he’s fighting!

Smiley loves getting into fights and feeling the rush of adrenaline. He also gets riled up whenever he goes against strong opponents. While he may have a pretty smile, he doesn’t give any mercy to his enemies and beats them to a pulp.

During the fight against Moebius, you saw that he was on top of a random guy from Moebius. While punching the guy in the face he just smiles and says “Die! Yay! Murder! Yay!” (Episode 9). It’s as if Nagatoro-san and Senpai had a baby and that baby became a delinquent.

14. Keisuke Baji

Keisuke Baji is one of the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He’s the one who inspired Mikey to build up such a strong gang. However, later on, due to some circumstances, he becomes a member of Valhalla.

Baji was present during the Toman and Moebius’ second battle. He instantly decimated Moebius’ ranks and quickly disposed of anyone coming his way. Whenever he ties his hair he goes Super Saiyan. Maybe if he goes bald he’ll become Saitama!

Even when he was a member of Valhalla, Baji instantly knocked out every member of the Tokyo Manji Gang’s 3rd Division! With just a metal pipe he made his way up to Kisaki and was about to kill him, but disaster struck (Chapter 58). Let’s stop right there! You need to find that out for yourself my beautiful weeb!

13. Yashuiro Muto

Yasuhiro Muto was the Tokyo Manji Gang’s 5th Division Captain and later betrayed Toman to join Tenjiku (Chapter 139-141). His Division had a unique task which was to find traitors within Toman. This included a special privilege where he could punish the moles without Mikey’s consent.

Mucho was also part of the S62 Generation that swore loyalty to Izana Kurokawa during their time in the Juvenile Detention Center (Chapter 156). Lastly, when he joined Tenjiku, Mucho instantly became a top executive.

According to Izana Kurokawa, Mucho was sent to the Juvenile Detention Center because he was charged with assault. Mucho threw his opponent on concrete, breaking the latter’s spinal cord (Chapter 156). Mucho was also very proficient in Judo. He used this martial arts technique on Inui during the Toman and Tenjiku battle (Chapter 160). Need I say more? He broke a guy’s spinal cord! Who does that!?

14. Kanji Mochizuki

Kanji Mochizuki was a top executive of Tenjiku but was arrested and sent to the Juvenile Detention Center after he chose to remain beside Izana (Chapter 185). He was also a member of the S62 Generation and was charged with obstructing the execution of public duty. This was because he beat up a police officer who tried to intervene in a fight (Chapter 160). I don’t know about you guys, but if someone is strong enough to beat up a police officer, I don’t want to have beef with him.

Mochi is exceptionally strong because of his brute strength, where he was able to send Chifuyu flying with 1 punch (Chapter 160). Chifuyu compared his strength to a Gorilla because of the overwhelming force in his hits. Mochi’s massive strength continues to present itself as he was instantly recruited by South Terano to become the 4th seat of Rokuhara Tandai (Chapter 212)Just look at him. He looks like a Shaolin Body Builder!

11. The Haitani Brothers

The Haitani Brothers include, Ran Haitani and Rindo Haitani. They’re also involved with the Tenjiku Gang. Ran Haitani is a lanky teenager who braids his hair. He’s very violent and uses dangerous things while fighting, like Bricks! (Chapter 128)  He used a brick against Mitsuya! This guy’s no joke. He smacked that brick on Mitsuya’s head like he was trying to catch a wild Pokemon!

Rindo Haitani is an executive of Tenjiku and is the younger brother of Ran. Being one of the strongest characters in Tokyo Revengers and even in his gang, Rindo uses grappling techniques and took down Angry and Hakkai. Rindo even broke their bones!

The two of them were even involved in the “Roppongi Battle of the Ashes”. That’s one cool-sounding battle if I do say so myself. Sounds like something from Lord of the Rings. During this battle, they killed the vice-captain of the gang they were up against. They pinned him to the ground and beat him until his face caved in! (Chapter 160).

10. Taiju Shiba

Taiju Shiba is one of the strongest Antagonists in Tokyo Revengers. He has two younger siblings, Yuzuha Shiba and Hakkai Shiba. He harassed both of his younger siblings as his own form of “love” (Chapter 103). Even now, he punches Yuzuha. Again, where are the platypus and crab with the guns? I need them to get rid of this guy! Let’s bring in John Wick as well and tell him Taiju killed his dog.

Taiju Shiba is strong enough to take on a whole gang all by himself. He literally punches so hard that he’ll knock you unconscious with just 1 hit. Therefore, his strength is not to be underestimated. It will be just unfair to exclude him from the list of the strongest characters, right? We can definitely call him the “one-hit wonder”. Okay, enough puns.

Taiju is so strong to the point where he single-handedly carried the Black Dragons back to their powerful state. He is a monster in his own rights. He isn’t afraid to kill, even when it comes to his siblings.

9. Akashi Takeomi.

Akashi Takeomi doesn’t have the nickname “God of War” for nothing. Before the events of Tokyo Revengers happened, Akashi was the Vice-President of the Black Dragons in its 1st Generation and was a founder of the gang (Chapter 211). Akashi Takeomi then became the Number 2 of Brahman and later on became the Advisor of Bonten (Chapter 196, Chapter 211).

Mochi exclaimed that Akashi was a pacifist before he became Brahman’s Number 2, which translates to the values held by the 1st Generation of the Black Dragons. His skills as a fighter are excellent, since he became the right-hand man of prominent figures in the world of delinquents. Akashi was also referred to by Shinichiro Sano, the president of the 1st Generations of the Black Dragons, as the rain bringer (Chapter 211).

Hear me out. He has two cool nicknames. “God of War” and “Rain Bringer”. Both of those have some strong mortal combat vibes going on! If you hear someone called the “God of War” coming after you, you’d be incredibly dense not to pack your bags and move to another country.

8. Keizo Arashi

If you didn’t already know, the Black Dragons during their 1st Generation ruled Tokyo as the number 1 gang. Keizo Arashi was the 1st Generation Captain of the Black Dragon’s Guards and was declared a living legend along with the other 1st Generation founders. Keizo Arashi was also the first half of the 1st Generation’s Best Duo. He is currently a top executive of Brahman (Chapter 213).

When Shion Madarame kept bragging about how he was the great leader of the 9th Generation of the Black Dragons, Keizo instantly knocked him out with 1 punch. Although he fell to the ground after Kakuchou punched him, Keizo got back up as if he didn’t even get hit at all (Chapter 213). His ability to sustain heavy damage and have overwhelming power in his attacks earns him this top spot. Keizo is literally a tank! He even looks like one!

7. Wakasa Imaushi

Wakasa Imaushi was the other half of the 1st Generation’s Best Duo and was the 1st Generation Special Attack Unit Captain of the Black Dragons. Wakasa is another member of the living legends and is a top executive of Brahman at the moment (Chapter 213).

They’re not just called the living legends because of their age, although they’re still in their 20’s. These guys can wipe out an entire gang by themselves and look good while at it!

Wakasa has a more laid-back or lazy attitude when it comes to fulfilling his duties as an executive. He is silent and takes his opponents by surprise, just like when he suddenly appeared behind Kakuchou during Brahman and Rokuhara Tandai’s confrontation. Wakasa can hide his presence to the point that he instantly disappears from his opponent’s senses and sight. He is very skillful when it comes to sneak attacks and hit-and-run tactics (Chapter 213)Talk about a modern-day Ninja.

6. Kakuchou

Kakuchou was the right-hand man of Izana Kurokawa and the strongest of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku. Kakuchou was able to stop Angry in his Crying Blue Ogre form easily, where Angry even defeated 2 of the Four Heavenly Kings and 2 executives of Tenjiku (Chapter 163)

Kakuchou was strong enough to help Izana build Tenjiku and take down most of the members of the Tokyo Manji Gang during the Kanto Incident. His strength was only second to Izana during this period of time (Chapter 163).

After he spent time in the hospital when he got shot by Kisaki, Kakuchou became the Top Dog and the 1st Seat of Rokuhara Tandai. He is now under South Terano and seeks to bring Takemichi and Draken back to the world of delinquents. Kakuchou’s ferocity and fighting prowess are at the top of the list. He was also able to bring down Keizo Arashi in one go (Chapter 213)

5. Kawaragi Senju

Kawaragi Senju has a lot of similarities to Izana Kurokawa especially when it comes to their tenacity and their superhuman senses. Senju is one of the 3 Deities and brought peace to Tokyo after taking control of a big part of the city. He also appeared during Tokyo’s Sengoku Period (Chapter 208).

Kawaragi Senju was able to recruit the living legends of the 1st Generation of the Black Dragons, creating a gang that is considered the strongest gang that works in the shadows (Chapter 208)

When Rokuhara Tandai and Brahman went face-to-face, Senju appeared out of nowhere and managed to score a kick in the back of the head against South Terano, Rokuhara Tandai’s representative (Chapter 212).

And the best thing is Senju is a girl! Senju Best Girl, I declare! Not only is Senju super strong but she’s a beast on the runway as well.

4. South Terano

South Terano is the representative of Rokuhara Tandai and another one of the 3 Deities that ended Tokyo’s Sengoku Period. He was able to create a gang that is regarded as the most powerful and has the most influence among the 3 powerhouses (Chapter 208).

Just like Kawaragi Senju, South Terano was also able to recruit powerful delinquents of previous gangs that ruled Tokyo. South filled Rokuhara Tandai’s top seats with the entire S62 Generation who were all executives and members of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku (Chapter 212).

Although his goal is the same as Senju’s, his technique in achieving it is the complete opposite. He relies purely on overwhelming his opponent with his brute strength and an intense combo of punches. South was able to bring down Draken by using a series of hits (Chapter 211). In addition, he just shook off Senju’s kick after a sneak attack (Chapter 212).

South Terano is Taiju Shiba reincarnate. They even have tattoos and have the same expressions when they’re angry. Maybe Ken Wakui, the author of Tokyo Revengers, loves those kinds of guys. Who knows.

3. Ken Ryuguji

Ken Ryugji is the vice-president and one of the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He’s the Mikey’s best friend since childhood and they both have each other’s backs in every situation (Episode 7).

He’s also known as “Draken” and even has a badass dragon tattoo on his temple. Ever since he was a child he was different from everyone in his age. How? Because he’s massive! If you’re in middle school and as big as Draken, you know you’re the boss.

As for his skills, not only does he look scary but he’s a beast when it comes to fighting. While Mikey took care of Taiju during the Christmas Incident, Draken went ahead and knocked out all of the members of the Black Dragons (Chapter 107). If that wasn’t impressive enough for you, Draken didn’t even get knocked out when he received a combo of punches from South Terano (Chapter 211). During the fighting, he likes to keep his kicking and punching simple yet very powerful just like a brawler (Episode 8).

If you’re gonna be the right-hand man of the Invincible Mikey, you gotta be as powerful as him. The dragon tattoo perfectly describes Draken. A beast with a flaming aura! He’s like Zoro if he actually has a sense of direction.

Izana Kurokawa is the current president of Tenjiku. He’s formerly the 8th leader of the Black Dragons. Izana is also one of the main antagonists in the series.

He was closely related to Manjiro Sano. Izana had a sister, named Emma Sano who lives with the Sano family. Izana ordered Tetta to murder his sister and after she died, it sparked the Kanto Incident where Toman fought against Tenjiku (Chapter 148).

During the Kanto Incident, Izana fought against Mikey and he had the upper hand. However, as the battle dragged on, Izana lost stamina and his movements started to slow down. Mikey took advantage of this and instantly turned the tables against Izana (Chapter 171).

Izana is no joke. He was able to hit Mikey with several critical hits. Izana’s power is not in speed or power but his superhuman senses. He easily reads his opponent’s moves and counterattacks. This is how he became the leader of the S62 Generation and Tenjiku.

Manjiro Sano is the leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He is the gang’s heart and soul. No matter how many members of Toman get beaten, if Mikey is still standing, Toman will never lose.

Even though Mikey’s height is average yet nothing stops his powerful kicks! And unlike other members of the gang, Mikey has learned Martial Arts. His signature move is his roundhouse kick which traps the opponents in his leg and slams them into the ground knocking them out instantly (Chapter 106). This comes as no surprise but Mikey knocked out most of the individuals listed here with just 1 hit. He is literally the Saitama of Tokyo Revengers.

Mikey also has amazing endurance, he has been hit by attacks that’d knock ordinary people out with a single blow yet he still keeps standing. In most of the alternate futures, Mikey’s darkness consumes him and he becomes the leader of organizations that rule Tokyo’s underground activities.

Try picturing a character that has Eren’s darkness, Luffy’s leadership, and Saitama’s power. You get Mikey! He has the nickname Invincible which speaks for itself. Mikey is, without a second thought, the most powerful character in Tokyo Revengers!

Conclusion
