Appearance

Rindo’s long blonde hair with blue highlights was his distinctive feature earlier on in his life as there wasn’t anyone else who was able to pull off the look with glasses and it was fairly easy to recognize him just on the basis of this.
He changed things up in the future where he ditched his blond hair for an orchid purple mullet with dark blue highlights. Rindo even left the glasses in the past and looked far more threatening and dangerous than before.
Rindo, like every other Bonten member, has a tattoo derived from former Tenjiku leader, Izana Kurokawa‘s earrings which he wears on his neck proudly. There are a few other tattoos also covering his skin but most prominently the left side of his body.
There are no visible scars on his body but he likes to wear a set of gloves and maybe hide something underneath there.
Personality

It won’t be wrong to say that being the younger of the Haitani brothers actually had a huge influence on the personality of Rindo. He is far more ambitious and determined to prove to the world that he isn’t any less than his brother and is a force to reckon with despite their relationship.
He is also really hostile towards his opponents and enjoys seeing them in pain and it seems like he thrives on the misery of others. He is absolutely delighted whenever he gets the better of his opponents and to further humiliate them, he even goes ahead and breaks their bones even if they had already accepted their defeat.
Nevertheless, he is really confident and self reliant which makes people respect him. However, his aggressive and emotional attitude towards gang matters have often resulted in him being on the wrong side of the deal. ¹
Strength And Skills

Grappling
Rindo is actually a master of grappling and likes to take down his opponents to the ground where he finishes them off eventually. You can actually think of him as Khabib Nurmagomedov of UFC, who is a beast when it comes to wrestling.
Rindo’s favorite move in a fight is to break off the joints of his opponent and he is actually quite efficient in pulling off (no pun intended) the deed. ² Tokyo Revengers Manga: Chapter 160[2]
Facts
- The name “Rindo” means “Bellflower” and it actually goes well with his character considering how he likes to dye his hair the same color as the flower. However that’s all to it as the flower is also associated with humility and diligence but unfortunately Rindo doesn’t really possess any of those qualities.
- Rindo’s surname “Haitani” means the “Ash Valley” and it won’t be wrong to say that the two brothers turned the district of Roppongi into something that symbolizes that
Past/History

The Haitani brothers fell into the world of gangs very early on in their lives. Rindo was only 13 years old when the Haitani brothers came into a conflict against the most powerful organization of Tokyo at the moment, the Roppongi Kyugoku. The whole battle was labeled as “Battle of the Ashes”. Rindo fought against the vice captain and was able to overwhelm him after taking him to the ground. Rindo and Ran took control of the whole district and became prominent figures in the area.
Their activities eventually came out to the public and they were sent to the juvenile facility where they met the rest of the prominent characters of the story.
Affiliations

Tenjiku Gang
Rindo was a key part of Tenjiku³ earlier on in his life but after the time skip, he and his brother became part of Bonten⁴.
It is still unclear why both of the brothers decided to join Bonten but there will definitely be some hidden ulterior motive considering they both are perhaps the biggest delinquents we have seen from Roppongi. They are also part of another gang called Brahman⁵ but there isn’t much known about it as of now.
