Hello! It’s a pleasure to finally connect with you all again. As usual, we are the gift that keeps on giving. Today, we present you with the 12 Best Animes on YouTube for Free. Anime can be expensive to indulge so we always look out for your interests. Without further ado, let’s get into it!
Table of Content
12. Special A
Hikari Hanazono belongs to a very poor family. But her financial circumstances never stopped her from doing the impossible. She’s a bright girl that has never lost to anyone in anything, except for Kei Takishima.
Table of Contents
Torn from always losing to Kei, she decides to enroll in the same high school as him. Hakusenkan is a prestigious school for the richest of the richest. But again, Hikari is intelligent and is a hard worker. She gets in, of course, but she still fails to beat Kei.

Hikari is ranked #2 in the entire school, which I find incredible because her living situations and accessible resources aren’t nearly equal to those of the wealthy students that she competes with. Who is ranked #1? I think you already know the answer to that. Poor Kei just wants to be close to Hikari, and here we have Hikari dreaming of beating him to shreds.
I adore Hikari because you see this woman suffer through the hardships of life, yet she continues to succeed. We love a strong-willed FL.
11. Kiss Him Not Me
HAHAHA! This anime is a gold mine for humor. Main character Kae Serinuma carries a few extra pounds compared to her classmates which is okay. Women shouldn’t be defined by their weight or their bodies.
However, Kae isn’t too concerned about social norms because she is very busy shipping anime men together. She’s a certified fujoshi who is engrossed with BL. Thus, she loves to ship her male classmates together without them noticing.

One day, she watches her absolute favorite character die. She loses it. She’s so distraught that she doesn’t have enough energy to get out of her room or even eat her meals. After grieving for an entire week, she decides to take a tiny step back into reality.
As one does after waking up, which she hasn’t been doing for seven days straight, she goes to the bathroom to wash up. But she doesn’t see her usual face in the morning. In fact, her entire body is different. She loses a bunch of weight and looks entirely different. So much so that the male classmates she ships are now after her.
It’s such a fun anime to watch. You’re guaranteed a good time. Maybe a sore throat from laughing too hard!
10. Days (TV)
Tsukushi Tsukamoto is a teenage boy with no special talents. He’s shy, making him perfect to bully. But the kid’s got a drive. He wants to attend Seiseki Highschool which is known for its soccer team. Why? To be with his childhood friend Sayuri who attends Seiseki as a freshman.
Jin is the complete opposite of Tsukushi. He’s soccer skills are out of this world. He crosses paths with Tsukushi by saving him from his bullies. During their encounter, Jin questions Tsukushi if he joins him in a soccer match because Jin’s team is short of one person.

Tsukushi agrees and plays in the match. He’s awful, but he runs the entire time despite being injured. In the end, Tsukushi does shoot a goal. After he finds out Jin will be attending as a freshman at Seseki, he decides to join Jin’s soccer club.
Tsukushi has no idea that this soccer club that he’s now a part of is incredibly famous nationwide. He couldn’t just look it up. I don’t get it! Kids nowadays are too inattentive to what’s happening in front of their faces. Well, it plays in his favor, so all’s well that ends well.
But this isn’t the end for Days. It is the beginning of Tsukushi’s rigorous journey.
9. Sankarea: Undying Love
Man, this brings back so many memories. When Sankarea: Undying Love first aired in 2012, I was captivated by Chihiro and Rea’s relationship. Before I forget, Chihiro is very into zombie chicks. Like in an unhealthy way.
I’m not a horror fanatic, but this anime gave me a run for my money. I was obsessed with buying the OVA CD’s and newly released volumes. Y’all are so lucky to watch this anime for free!
Sankarea is about a high school boy named Chihiro Furuya who meets the runaway Rea Sanka. Rea lives a rich and luxurious life trapped by her father in her mansion of a home. Like any conflicted teen, she runs away from home. That’s when she befriends Chihiro. It’s sweet how she becomes more lively when she’s with Chihiro.

However, Rea becomes so depressed because of her toxic father that she drinks poison in hopes of dying. But she didn’t die. She later finds out that her father is after Chihiro. Terrified for her friend, she flees her house to warn him.
Trying to find him, she unfortunately is caught by her father on a cliff. She argues with him on this cliff, and she falls to her death. Chihiro witnesses this and is horrified. He yells at her to wake up. And guess what? She does.
Rae isn’t dead. She’s undead.
8. Archenemy and the Hero
In Archenemy and the Hero, there is a chaotic war between demons and humans. This trope isn’t uncommon, in fact it’s pretty basic. However, Archenemy and the Hero has a unique take on this plot element.
The Hero of Humanity is not satisfied with his species’ progress in the war, so he decides by himself to go to the Demon Queen’s castle to defeat her and finally put an end to this mayhem. Now me and the Hero both had our jaws drop when we saw the Demon’s Queen. She’s stunning. I can’t believe the Hero was able to talk to her after seeing her beauty.

That’s not the only shocking part about the Demon Queen; she was actually waiting for the Hero to show up. This Queen has beauty and brains. She confides her worries to the Hero, stating that if this war continues, humans and demons will turn on their own kind. When violence is prolonged, it can be contagious.
After seeing eye to eye with one another, the Hero accepts her offer to an alliance and they begin to come up with a plan to bring peace between the humans and demons. Let’s pray that they aren’t too late.
7. Toilet bound Hanako-kun
Toilet bound Hanako-kun has beautiful animation. The character designs are adorable, and it properly fits their personalities.
Hanako-san is a ghost that haunts one of the girls’ bathrooms of Kamome Academy. Legend has it that if you come across him, Hanako-san will make a wish of yours come true. But there is a price for every granted desire.
Nene Yashiro is a first-year student at the academy, and she wants nothing more than a boyfriend. That’s it. Since she also has a love for the supernatural, she has tried to summon Hanako-san. She successfully becomes bound to Hanako. However, much to her surprise, it is only then does she realize Hanako-san is actually Hanako-kun!
6. Assassination Classroom
This is a light-hearted anime about a dedicated teacher who teaches his innocent class about Physics and how it applied to the world. Obviously, I’m lying.
It’s about a group of highly skilled students that are put into a class. They are taught by this octopus alien. If they aren’t able to kill this teacher of theirs by the end of the school year, he will destroy the entire world.
I understand that it sounds intense, but the comedy in this series is just top-tier stuff. Also, there is a great teacher-student dynamic between the class and Korosensei, their dangerous and powerful target.
5. Ushio and Tora
Ushio is one hard-headed middle schooler. His father is a temple priest who is constantly proclaiming about Youkai, much to Ushio’s demise. Hey, if my dad claimed that there are crazy creatures in this dimension, I too would want to crack my skull on a wall. Parents are also stubborn when it comes to debating with their kids.
I wonder how Ushio lives his life after he stumbles across a Yokai in his basement? I’m not spoiling anything, so just give this series a chance.
4. One Punch Man
ONE! PUNCH! MANNNNNNN! God was that first intro of One Punch Man the best. One Punch Man is about a depressed, unemployed man known as Saitama. Saitama wants some spice, some jazz, not failed interviews.
One day, Saitama is walking down the street and encounters a Crab monster. Did I forget to say that he lives in a world full of monsters and constant fighting? Anyway, this crab creature is after a little boy. Saitama, out of nowhere, saves this kid. As if on instinct.

He battles and then defeats this monster, only to find an enthusiastic spark that ignites his thrill. After completing his training of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and a 10k run every day, he is able to beat any monster with a single punch.
And guess what? Saitama is still bored. He’s just too OP man. At this point, he brought it on himself. I don’t know how, but he did.
3. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
You got to feel for Mikami Satoru. He’s tired of his bland life, he has a dead-end job, and he’s just done with it all. Sounds tough, right? Well, it only gets worse for him.
Mikami gets stabbed one day by a robber and dies. But hold on! This isn’t the end for him or for us. He wakes up in a magical world! But only as a slime monster. This guy really can’t catch a break, can he? Don’t worry though because this is the start of his new bright future full of adventures!
2. Tokyo Ravens
Natsume is such a cute-patootie oh my goodness! The first time I watched Tokyo Ravens. I watched for her. I didn’t even remember the plot because she’s one of the most lovable characters I’ve ever seen. The second time I binged Tokyo Ravens, I was shocked at how fantastic the story is.
Onmyougi, a type of magician, has made Japan into a living hell. Thus, the Onmyou Agency was founded to prevent any more spiritual disasters.

The main character, Harutora, is born into a family of onmyouji. However, he doesn’t have any powers! When he was young, he made a promise to Natsume who’s his childhood friend. He gave her his word about becoming her familiar. But how can that be possible if he can’t even utilize magic?
Well, he doesn’t think twice about his weakness when he teams up with Natsume to fight against an upcoming experiment that will threaten Japan’s peace.
1. Tower of God
Tower of God is about a boy named Bam who is isolated by the rest of the world. He’s trapped underneath a mysterious tower. The only companion he has is Rachel who visits him occasionally. He wants nothing else than to be close to her.
However, the plot takes a quick turn when Rachel decides to leave Bam behind to climb the top of the tower. Rachel desperately wants to see these miraculous stars that she’s told Bam about. Poor guy! He just wants to have Rachel by his side, and now this girl is leaving him in the dust?
Knowing how much Bam yearns for Rachel, he goes as far as entering the tower and risking his life for her.
