Chainsaw Man is an interesting manga for the fans of dark horrors and gore action. The anime adaptation was recently announced, which will be done by the famous studio, Mappa. They are also known for some of the popular shows of the last few seasons, for example, Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan: Final Season.

Chainsaw Man is the story of brutal slaughters set in a world where humans and devils are in a never-ending contest for dominance. Denji, the protagonist receives the powers of the chainsaw devil upon his death and goes on to hunt the dire beasts professionally.

The Bat Devil, just like almost every other devil in the manga, represents the fear of said entity, the bats. He is the main antagonist of his titular arc, the Bat Devil Arc. He holds great hatred towards humans and especially likes eating children. You shouldn’t do that though.

Taurus’ are afraid of big changes. They are very wholesome and want the best for everyone around them. They are reliable and they take their jobs seriously.
Himeno was able to keep her composure under difficult situations, and she made a great supervisor for the new recruits of the Public Safety Bureau. She was deeply caring about her underlings and was perfectly effective in combat.

Gemini are willing to go on with crazy plans and have almost no sense of fear. They Trust their friends to a dangerous level and are able to talk for hours without any reason to do so.
Beam is the resident shark guy, even having a snout on the top of his head. He is a Shark Fiend and a member of the Fourth Special Divison of Devil Hunters. He usually behaves in a strange way, and seems to not care much about his environment, but respects the Chainsaw Devil a lot.

Cancers are usually sensitive people, who would rather solve any conflict peacefully. They can forgive but never forget. They also like to take other people’s problems, but still, complain about them.
Quanxi is a foreign Devil Hunter, from the relatively close giant, China. She is calm, even to the level of being a toxic stoic. She sometimes changes her attitude to feel the problems of her friends and helps them out. She is a great fighter, who sees the victory in reducing the number of her enemies.
Leo (July 23 ~ August 22)

Leos often have an outstanding personality. This comes down to the fact they feel a dire need to be better than everyone, and they purposefully align themselves with anything to have more past glories and achievements in their talon.
The Angel Devil is an interesting figure among the entities of this universe, as he has both the personality of a devil and an angel. This contradiction shows in his life interpretation. He has no hatred towards humans but still believes that they should die a painful death. He also hates getting ordered around.
Virgo (August 23 ~ September 22)

Virgos are not necessarily bravehearts, but they have a sense of quick resolve. They are aware of their surroundings, and they can read the aura to take better actions. They might be little scaredy cats as well.
Kobeni is a small young woman, who has major confidence problems. She was acting quite cowardly in the fight against the Eternity Devil, but she also proved to have a cool mind. She likes being treated with alcohol.
Libra (September 23 ~ October 22)

Sign: Libra
Libra’s like fantasy, and are considered great actors. They can easily pretend to be on someone else’s side, which makes them unreliable for the common minds. They also hate loneliness.
Reze initially got close to Denji by pretending to be someone who has a crush on him. She is the titular villain of the Bomb Girl Arc, as she is the Bomb Devil. She came from the Soviet Union and is allied to the Gun Devil.

5. Aki Hayakawa (FICTIONAL BIRTHDAY)

Sign: Scorpio
Scorpios are usually the bad boys of the squad, but they can be pretty blunt and oblivious as well. They might not realize their inner coolness, and go on to live as social outcasts.
Aki is a major side character of Chainsaw Man and is possessed by the Gun Devil. He worked as a Public Safety Hunter under Makima’s squad. Aki is a softie when others can bring out his inner self, but he likes to pretend to be the real deal, a badass.
Sagittarius (November 23 ~ December 21)

Sagittarius’ can be cornered easily initially. But after that, you will be the one who is cornered. They are the men/women/animals of words, and they can easily lead a conversation. Even the mystery man, Nostradamus was a Sagittarius!
Well, even though Pochita is an “animal”, he holds a clear personality. He hates humans but cares for Denji deeply. Pochita represents a dog, and even barks like one, but as the Chainsaw Devil, his identity can’t be clear.
Capricorn (December 22 ~ January 19)

Sign: Capricorn
Capricorns are usually very mature and are suited for important jobs right from the beginning of their lives. These can be anything from a lawyer to a landlord, as it’s necessary that they have to annoy their clients. They suppress their emotions easily.
Makita is the main antagonist of the whole first part of the manga. She is revealed to be the Control Devil, which wasn’t so surprising, as she was quite a controlling woman by nature. She kept Denji around her with false hope of a romantic relationship, but also threatened him to not ever leave her. It was actually the Chainsaw Devil she was after.
Aquarius (January 20 ~ February 19)

Sign: Aquarius
The aquarius people are ones to be feared, for very trivial reasons. They get pissed off after not getting what they wanted, and they might possibly start a rebellion on spot. They live in concepts and value freedom the most.
Power is a selfish and childish woman, who is also a compulsive liar. She gossips all day and doesn’t believe in teamwork, but as time passes, she changes for the better, just like any tsundere. As you could guess, she is the main girl in the manga.
Pisces (February 20 ~ March 20)

Sign: Pisces
You might have to go through the embarrassing routine questions when meeting a Pisces, as their basic traits can’t be easily picked up by listening to them or just looking at them. Their age and their opinion about you may remain a mystery.
Denji would be the rude and Neanderthal friend of the protagonist in any other story. But, here he is the main character himself. He had a hard childhood and doesn’t even know his mother. He went through hardships time after time, but goes on to fight continuously and change for the better!
