The Way of the Househusband is manga series that has been running since 2018 in the online magazine, Kurage Bunch. It is about a former yakuza leader who gives up his criminal life to just be a househusband.
In the year 2020, Nippon TV aired their adaptation of the series, which was a live-action TV drama. In April of 2021, Netflix debuted an ONA anime series that was created and produced under J.C.Staff. In October of 2021, the second portion of the anime series was made available to watch.

Tatsu, a notorious and renowned yakuza leader who was given the nickname Immortal Dragon, decides to give up his life of crime and be a househusband in order to provide for his kyaria-man wife, Miku. The series presents a range of comical events, the most of which center on the contrast between Tatsu’s mundane domestic job as a…well, househusband and his threatening attitude and look, as well as his regular run-ins with old yakuza friends and competitors.

Torajiro seeks some information from Tatsu on the most recent trend, which is bubble tea. Masa is taken on a perplexing adventure by Tatsu on their way to the a hundred yen store.
Episode 8
Tatsu is coerced into participating in a rap fight, and he, as well as Miku, later attend a Halloween party contest together. Things heat up while going to a restaurant that serves food from a buffet.
Episode 9
When Tatsu develops a fever, a struggle begins inside his own body to determine his fate. Masa pays a visit for the New Year’s holiday. Tatsu emphasizes the need to have heart while teaching a lesson on baking.

CHARACTERS
Tatsu
An ex-yakuza leader who, in his current role as a househusband, puts the same competence and energy that he had as a mob boss into housekeeping and other household responsibilities.
Miku
An ambitious fashion and clothing designer with some solid work ethic who also happens to be Tatsu’s wife. She’s a magical girl otaku who does not want anybody to know about it. Himawari is the name of Miku’s daughter in the fictional television drama.
Masa
An undercover agent in Tatsu’s prior gang. It is very uncommon for him to show up uninvited to help Tatsu with his errands and duties.
