The series tells us the story of Hikigaya Hachiman who is an anti-social and aloof high school student. He is convinced that the happy youth is a lie and that anyone who claims otherwise is only lying to themselves. As a punishment, he was forced to join a Volunteer Club in his school that helped students achieve their goals. The club had only one member other than Hikigaya Hachiman. Graduation is close. Iroha Isshiki requests the Volunteer Club to arrange a prom for the third-year students. Yukino agrees with this idea and sees it as an opportunity to prove herself. However, things are not as easy as they seem. She’s going to face problems from her mother as well as her sister. Will she give up or will she be brave and face the challenges that lie ahead of her?
