Though Vinland Saga is an action-packed seinen anime, it has its fair share of waifus that are yet to come in the anime. The first season of Vinland Saga had only 24 episodes and we didn’t get to see the whole cast. With the new season coming, we can’t wait to see a new set of characters that will include a bunch of waifus as well. 6. Anne
Anne is the only survivor of the Mercian village that Askeladd and his band destroyed in December 1013. His band was traveling to Danelaw but were forced to stay in her village because of harsh weather circumstances. Anne has sleek brown colored hair. She tends to blush when she’s feeling a lot of emotions. As she had a family of staunch Christians, she herself is very religious. She tends to conversate with gods in her thoughts. However, she did fall for stealing a ring when she went to the supermarket and never threw it away despite knowing what happened to the thieves on the day of judgment.
5. Hordaland
Her real name is still unknown but she’s a young woman from Hordaland, Norway. She used to be the daughter of a Lord of that area but was sold as a slave due to his family losing a war. She’s a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and light blue eyes. She’s shown to be a kind and caring lady despite being treated badly. She didn’t bring herself to think about killing Gorm even when he tortured her badly. That’s how forgiving and pure hearted she is.

4. Gudrid
Gudrid was introduced in the series while he was trying to escape from her second husband. She currently travels with Thorfinn in hopes of creating a paradise in Vinland. Gudrid has deep black hair tied into twin braids. She’s always shown to be blushing. She’s an energetic lady who doesn’t listen to anybody but herself. She’s a true rebel who doesn’t conform to societal pressure.
3. Arnheid
Arnheid is the personal slave and concubine of Ketil. She’s a beautiful young woman with blonde hair tied in a bun. She’s a kind, honest and hardworking girl who doesn’t want to get in any kind of trouble while performing her duties.

2. Ylva
Ylva is Thorfinn’s elder sister. She has wavy blonde hair tied in a ponytail. She appears to be a tough woman who has her own opinions. She’s not afraid of anybody and is also not afraid to speak up her mind.
1. Canute
Whether you like it or not, Canute secures the top spot of the Best Waifu in Vinland Saga. He is the King of Denmark, England. Canute has long blonde hair and a very feminine face. He has long lashes and light blue eyes. He’s shown to be timid and weak initially but later he learns how to stand up for himself. He also becomes manipulative and cunning as the series progresses.
