Toilet Bound Hanako-kun is a fun anime series that is considered to be one of the best out there after its release last 2020. This series is filled with so many comedic reliefs, you’ll be constantly laughing in every episode. Not only that, in each episode you’ll be able to see the lore behind Japan’s seven wonders in the school and you’ll be mind blown with it!

Hanako-kun
Hanako-kun, the leader of the Seven Wonders in their school–he is the one who keeps the balance between mortals and the supernatural (the ghosts). This is why he tends to help the students inside the school when they are in dire need, as well as protecting the school from evil. If you watched the series, we could see that Hanako-kun is very cheerful, bright, mischievous and playful; however, at times he can be serious too whenever there is a situation that requires him to do so.
Also, there are some instances where he isolates himself from people whenever he is going through something serious or is just thinking about ways to solve a problem. Furthermore, though he may be outgoing and loves to have fun, he is actually quite private in a way that he doesn’t share much about his life. This is why there are people who don’t quite fully understand what is going on Hanako-kun’s head, though he is still respected and loved by many.
So, if you got this boy, then I think that you are a compassionate individual who prefers to maintain balance and does not want anybody to disrupt it. Furthermore, I think that you have the traits of a leader, who is ready to protect his own people. Lastly, I believe that you are the type that bottles up your own emotions to hide what you are truly feeling.
But let me tell you this, it is okay to show your vulnerability towards other people, because if you bottle everything up, the tendency is it’s going to burst. So always keep yourself in check and have a friend or someone/something by your side whom you can share your worries with.
Nene Yashiro
A gentle soul who would do anything to help people. But on the flip side, even though she is a kind girl, she tends to seek other people’s approval of her. We can say that in this world, we don’t deserve a genuine person like Nene– some might think that her generosity to lend a hand to other people is a form of naivete. However, I believe that people just don’t seem to see the genuineness she has since we live in a cutthroat world. Although in the series there are times we can say that she is a bit gullible, but what can we say, that’s just how she is.
So if you ever get Nene Yashiro, I think that you are the type of person who is real towards people regardless if they are a stranger or someone you know. An outgoing person that is ready to help people in need at any given moment. However, as I mentioned before, there is a part where Nene seeks approval from other people. If you relate to that, then, let me tell you this–the only validation you need to have is from yourself.
Once you realize your worth then, you’ll feel so much better! Stay who you are and don’t think too much of what other people perceive you as, trust me, you’re one in a million!
Kou Minamoto
A person who looks rough around the edges, but once you get to know him, he is a precious human. Kou Minamoto may somewhat come off as rude and loud at first, but as you get to know him further, he is actually a nice person. In fact, he has a very strong sense of justice and is open-minded too. This can be seen in the anime wherein, at first he didn’t like Hanako because he was a ghost, and in further episodes, he became friends with him.
Furthermore, there is a tendency that he is a bit impulsive, especially when he doesn’t process things. He constantly jumps into certain situations. At times, with that kind of trait, he makes mistakes because he’s going at it all too fast. But all I can say is that, if you got him, then I believe that you’re one of the most loyal people out there, since Kou is very loyal to his peers. You are a headstrong person that is also open to changes.
Aoi Akane
Although this guy is madly in love with Aoi (yes, there is another Aoi too if you watched the series) to the point where we can say that he is a bit obsessed with her. But Aoi Akane is pretty reliable and hardworking since he is the Student Council Vice President of their school. Furthermore, he is very smart too, apparently he was in first place among the 224 students that took exams with him.
Moreover, Aoi has the tendency to forget his sense of reasoning and just let his emotions go rampant whenever he sees his loved ones being involved in a certain situation. He is also a loyal person since he doesn’t have any interest in other people that he finds irrelevant. If you got Aoi Akane, you are the type that cares deeply for your loved ones and would do just about anything for their own safety and well-being. You are very earnest with your goals and are uninterested in things that are not in line with what you believe in.
Tsuchigomori
Let me let you in on a little secret– Tsuchigomori is secretly supernatural but he pretends to be a mortal teacher in the school. As a teacher, he pretends to be resigned and quiet and a caring person, which is actually another side of him–however, in all actuality, he is a very sarcastic, hot-tempered—sadistic in a way, and a mischievous person. Also, he doesn’t really show his true emotions, Tsuchigomori emphasized that he doesn’t like kids or children (same) but his actions say otherwise though.
So if you ever got him, I think you’re the type of person who believes in “actions speak louder than words” kinda thing. You may act like you don’t care, but you do actually care for them. You just show it in a different way. Further, you’re probably introverted but once someone gets to know you in person, you show your true self.
