Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia And Others Make It To NYT’s July Bestseller List


Japanese Manga continue to pique the interest of fans in North America as the Bestseller list for Graphic Books and Manga listed My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer and Spy x Family that was released earlier in July

NYT's Bestseller List Rankings

The rankings for all these manga are as follows

1- The 28th Volume of My Hero Academia is ranked at number 2.

2- The 5th Volume of Chainsaw Man is ranked at number 5.

3- The 10th Volume of Jujutsu Kaisen is ranked at number 6.

4- The 22nd Volume of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is ranked at number 7.

5- The 5th Volume of Spy x Family is ranked at number 15.


NYT’s Graphic Novels and Manga Bestseller List

New York Times announced in September 2019 that it will start publishing a list of some of the bestseller Graphic Books and Manga. The monthly list started publishing in October 2019. The list that was discontinued returned due to the interest of the readers according to the newspaper. 

The Bestseller list for Graphic books originally started publishing in the New York Times in March 2009. The newspaper stopped publishing it in February 2017. It started getting published again from October 2019 and is still continuing to publish every month.
