Jujutsu Kaisen tells us the story of Yuji Itadori who is a highschooler and lives in Sendai with his grandfather. He decides to join the Occult Club in his school instead of every other healthy club and likes to spend his time in the clubroom and the hospital where his grandfather is on his deathbed

After the death of his grandfather, Yuji comes across Megumi Fushiguro who is a sorcerer and tells Yuji that he had made contact with a high-grade cursed charm talisman at his school.
