Blue Lock is a recent airing anime this Fall 2022 and has gained a lot of popularity because you don’t always see anime about football every day! It even had the best timing because it was released the same time as FIFA. It became a trend around the world that even Japanese football players wore the Blue Lock uniforms for their matches! It’s almost like these players are doing cosplays of themselves!

Now when it comes to cosplay, even though Blue Lock had just recently aired, a lot of people have already attempted cosplaying the characters and that’s what we’re getting into for this blog!

16. Itoshi Sae

Starting off with Itoshi Sae who is considered as one of the top players of Japan even at a young age! For a 17-year-old, Sae has a lot of big dreams such as becoming the best striker, best player in the whole world, and even the best in midfield position! Something that you’d definitely expect from a prodigy like him!
The cosplay of skrcos has recreated a cool-looking image of Itoshi Sae from the series. Sae usually has a serious kind of attitude and the cosplayer also managed to give off that same kind of vibe.
15. Isagi Yoichi

Isagi Yoichi is the main protagonist of Blue Lock, and you’ll most likely end up finding a lot of cosplays of him… well because he’s the main character! Yoichi is a second year high-schooler and was once a part of the Ichinan Football Team in their school. After he got chosen to become a part of the Blue Lock Project, Yoichi became one of the members of Team Z. Just like Itoshi Sae, Yoichi also dreams of becoming the best striker.
Akup_11’s Isagi Yoichi has done a great job in not just capturing the look of Yoichi in the anime, he even nailed the uniform he wears during matches! Despite Yoichi having a simple design, he never fell short on the details such as his blue eyes.
14. Bachira Meguru

Our first Bachira Meguru cosplay for this blog is made by saihara_.chan! Bachira Meguru is a forward player in Blue Lock as a member of Team Z along with Yoichi. Initially, Meguru doesn’t have big dreams and only wants to face off against stronger rivals in soccer. Once he managed to conquer his past traumas, Bachiru also realized his dream is to become the best striker player.
The cosplayer of Meguru has made a simple look of him and not too extravagant to look at. Even though he doesn’t show the expression that Meguru usually has, he still has the looks and accurate hairstyle of the character.
13. Rensuke Kunigami

Rensuke Kunigami is a forward player when he becomes a member of Team Z in the Blue Lock Project. He has orange hair with broad shoulders and wears the No. 9 jersey of Team Z. In this cosplay of mong_cos is a recreation of Kunigami’s character and is probably one of the first few you’ll ever find out there! Even though the cosplayer doesn’t completely have the looks, it still got the matching hairstyle of the character along with the blue jersey.
12. Chigiri Hyoma

Chigiri Hyoma is a forward player of Team Z and is considered a prodigy in his position as a forward. Due to his leg injury in the past, he was traumatized to go back to playing football again but when Isagi motivated him, Hyoma once again earned the courage to overcome his fears.
In the series, Chigiri Hyoma has the face of a female and you can easily mistake him as one if you’re not familiar with the series. Akamiyuu’s cosplay has easily captured Hyoma’s feminine look since the cosplayer is a female herself. She also emphasized Hyoma’s red eyes and pinkish hair for this cosplay
11. Shido Ryuusei

Unlike other football players in Blue Lock who have a dream of becoming best football players in their own ways, Shido Ryuusei doesn’t have any of those dreams and treats football as a way of enjoying his life.
Shido has a strong likeness when it comes to violence and when it comes to football, that is where he becomes the most free he ever will be and his only focus is to score goals as many as possible. As for sarphinas’s portrayal of Shido, the cosplayer showed his eccentric and toxic behavior capturing a perfect image of the character.

10. Bachira Meguru

Another work of skrcos is his version of Bachira Meguru and this time we get to see a more casual everyday look of the character! Here you get to see a more laid-back image of Meguru when he’s not doing anything football-related. The character is known to be lazy at times since he sleeps during the most important moments, and this is the same thing that the cosplayer wants to convey for the character.
9. Itoshi Rin

More works of skrcos include the Itoshi Rin cosplay! Itoshi Rin is a guy who goes by many names like Puppeteer, Eyelashes, Revenger, and many more! He is Itoshi Sae’s brother and was considered as one of the best forward players among the players in Blue Lock.
Skrcos’s cosplay of Rin shows his cool-headed side that makes him one of the best players in the team. He also tends to have a high ego just like Chigiri Hyoma due to their incredible expertise in the game and that is what this cosplayer is trying to show for her version of Itoshi Rin.
8. Reo Mikage and Nagi Seishiro

Here we have a combo cosplay of Reo Mikage and Nagi Seishiro which were made by cosplayers, takono_monpe1 and miduki_rui! I must say that both of these cosplayers have incredibly made a good recreation of Mikage and Seishiro! Both of their hairstyles are visually accurate along with their football uniforms and the color of their eyes!
7. Nagi Seishiro

Next up is a solo cosplay of Nagi Seishiro made by mi_cha227_! He was a Team V member and was eventually considered as one of the top players in his position. Nagi is shown to have a snow-white hair and bangs across his face. The cosplayer almost made an accurate representation of Nagi and the only difference here is his eye color which is white. From the source material, Nagi is known to have brownish eye color rather than white. But overall, this is still an incredibly well-made cosplay by mi_cha227_!
6. Isagi Yoichi
Cosplayer: rendemon.cos
If you want a cooler look of Isagi Yoichi, then here’s another cosplay of him made by rendemon.cos! Not only did he manage to make a spitting image of the character, but he also even added some impressive editing for more impact! Other than the accurate uniform and blue eyes, he even improvised his work more by adding the flame effect on his eyes similar to what you see in the anime!
This work of rendemon shows more character to Yoichi than the other ones because of those eyes that are only shown when he gets fired up in the show!

5. Itoshi Rin

If you want more Itoshi Rin content then this one is made by miduki_rui! There’s less editing for this version compared to the other but the cosplayer still managed to make an accurate look at Rin’s serious character. It even got the bangs and the outfit very close to the source material!
4. Itoshi Sae
Cosplayer: yuuma_v
Another cosplay of Itoshi Sae is from yuuma_v! Yuuma’s Sae took on a different approach compared to the previous one you saw before and this time he doesn’t wear a uniform but rather, a more casual attire!
This version of Sae has a more fresh look, but he still has that serious vibe in him similar to what you see in the anime! When it comes to his hairstyle, this one has a more accurate style because of those side bangs on each side and the hair color is not too strong making it look more natural.
3. Bachira Meguru

The most accurate recreation of Bachira Meguru’s look is by marce.kirei! This time we get to see more of his football uniform! When Meguru does anything related to football, that is where his laziness comes to a halt since he takes his training and practices more seriously than any other activities.
In this cosplay, we see a more precise version of the character who is in the middle of his training depicting his dedication to football. As for the outfit, everything is visually accurate, especially the yellow hair strand and of course, the jersey of Team Z!
2. Isagi Yoichi

The last cosplay of Isagi Yoichi was made by kotona_z! This one right here doesn’t have much editing and take on a much simpler look of the character. If the other one shows a more serious vibe of Yoichi, then this one is his other cheerful personality. Every part of the cosplay is as accurate as the previous ones but this one has more similarity to the character because of the face and subtle blue coloring of the hair.

Lastly, we have another Chigiri Hyoma cosplay made by chiro_dakara! This cosplay we can now see a more expressive version of the character since Hyoma is known to be quite an egotistical person who feels superior towards anyone. As for the outfit, it fell a bit short when it comes to the colors but overall, it’s still a good recreation of the character’s personality and attitude!
