Chainsaw Man, the manga that made otakus go crazy over how perfectly it was created. From its story to its art style, everything about this manga is perfect. Also, its characters are some of the most interesting characters ever created.

Now that the most anticipated manga series has an anime adaptation, fans can’t wait to see their favorite scenes animated. There are many scenes in the manga that fans went crazy over. Now that they’re going to be animated, we can’t contain our excitement. Studio MAPPA will be responsible for the animation so we already know how gorgeous it will be.

So, we’ll be talking about some of the most epic scenes that fans are eager to see. Are you guys ready? Let’s get started!

12. Denji and Himeno Kiss

Denji had a traumatizing first kiss and Himeno is behind his trauma. This happened when everybody was drinking at a restaurant. Himeno was drunk and she started getting close to Denji. As she kissed Denji, he could feel something warm in his mouth. He first thought it was Himeno’s tongue. However, it turns out that Himeno was puking in his mouth. Denji’s dream of a perfect first kiss was shattered there and then. This scene is going to be disgusting but still amusing. (Chainsaw Man, Chapter 21)

11. Makima in the Shrine

Makima is probably the coolest character in Chainsaw Man and fans want to see every panel that contains Makima animated desperately. This scene is the first time we get a glimpse of Makima’s true power. This was when she ordered Kurose and Tendo to arrange 30 criminals with life sentences in a shrine. She’s going to perform a ritual there. All the criminals including Tendo and Kurose are blindfolded. She’s doing this ritual in order to kill the Gun Agents that were after Denji.

She orders one of the prisoners to say the name”Mishima Shuuzo”. As he says the name, Mishima Shuuzo ends up getting flattened. The criminal also dies after saying the name. She then continues this with all the criminals and many Gun Agents throughout the country are flattened. This is definitely one of the coolest moments in Chainsaw Man that the fans can’t wait to see. 10. Darkness Devil with Astronauts

This is one of the most breathtaking moments from Chainsaw Man. This scene awakens the fear that the viewers must feel while watching this anime. We get to see Darkness Devil watching between a row of dissected astronauts. It lets us know the true power of the Darkness Devil. As he can manipulate darkness, the Darkness Devil can manifest a bunch of bisected astronauts while he manipulates the darkness around him. (Chainsaw Man, Chapter 64)

9. Makima Pulling out Pochita

This scene is going to be truly remarkable. It was when Makima was fighting with Denji. Both of them were able to decapitate each other but none of them was ready to give up. As Denji slices Makima in half, she is able to reattach herself and punches a hole through Denji’s chest and grabs Pochita from his chest. She then pulls out Pochita.She shows him her power and how she was able to defeat him with her bare fists. Makima is truly a total badass. (Chainsaw Man, chapter 95)

8. Denji’s Transformation

Denji’s first transformation into his devil form is something that fans would absolutely love. As Pochita replaced his heart, he was able to live again. Earlier, the Zombie Devil attacked him using his zombies and killed Denji. But as Denji is back now, the Zombie Devil orders his zombies to attack him again. As the zombies hoard around Denji, he pulls a cord from his chest and transforms into his hybrid form. This scene is truly remarkable. (Chainsaw Man, Chapter 1)

7. Aki gets Killed by Denji

This scene is going to be really sad for the fans. Aki fantasizes that he’s having a snowball fight with both Power and Denji. But in reality, he has transformed into the Gun Devil and is wreaking havoc everywhere. He’s killing innocent people and Denji begs him to stop and return back to normal. However, Aki comments that it is the first time he’s having so much fun. Denji has no other option left but to actually kill him. With a heavy heart, Denji stabs him with his chainsaw and kills him. (Chainsaw Man, Chapter 79)

6. The Gun Devil Reveal and Subsequent Destruction

The Devil we’d been waiting for and had so much hype around him was finally revealed. The fact that this was Aki was a twist no one could have seen coming. The amount of destruction that followed his reveal was so immense that it perfectly reflected the threat that the manga made him out to be before his reveal. The design of this devil is amazing in the manga. Let’s hope he looks equally cool in the anime as well.(Chainsaw Man, Chapter 75)

5. Kishibe Vs Quanxi

The manga is full of blood-pumping action that pumps us up even when it’s not animated. Initially, fans only witnessed a little bit of action related to Kishibe. He could only be seen training with Denji and Power. While training both of them, Kishive was not showcasing his full combat abilities. He was obviously holding back with them.

When he was up against Quanxi, we got to see his full potential and he was definitely not holding back with her because he knew how powerful Quanxi was. The hand-to-hand combat between the two was jaw-dropping in the manga. If this fight between Kishibe and Quanxi is carefully choreographed by MAPPA, the fans are definitely going to lose it.

As far as the relationship between Kishibe and Quanxi is concerned, both have a history. Kishibe went head over heels for Quanxi as soon as he met her but was flat-out rejected by her. It was after 9 years that Quanxi told him that she was interested in girls.

They reunited again when Quanxi came to Japan in search of Denji after his identity was revealed. That’s when the two of them fight and later, things get really ugly. (Chainsaw Man, Chapter 62)

4. The Trip to Hell

The Hell in Chainsaw Man is not your typical dark and bloody hell. It shows us a bunch of severed body parts in a large field with loads of doors and a clear blue sky. This is the place where all devils are gone when they die on the Earth. The field in Hell is full of flowers. It’s not known yet what it is like beyond that specific area covered in fields. We get to see our characters transported to Hell where Makima manages to take them out of it. This scene is going to be so surrealistic when animated. (Chainsaw Man, Chapter 64)

3. Kobeni’s Dance to Save Her Life

This scene is going to be one of the best scenes of Kobeni. This happened when Denji gained his final Chainsaw Man form and went to Family Burger. He decides to take Kobeni on a date. He goes to an ice cream van where a Devil Hunter appears and threatens Denji. He quickly kills him and tells Kobeni to go to the Dance-Dance Revolution machine and dance. Kobeni ends up dancing out of fear in order to save her life. This scene is going to be really amusing for the fans. (Chainsaw Man, Chapter 86)

2. Makima kills Power

Many of you might have seen this manga panel a lot already. I’m really excited to see this panel animated and I know you guys are excited too. In this scene, Makima destroys Power’s entire torso right in front of Denji. Denji is shown to witness everything in shock. This is going to be such an incredible scene in the Chainsaw Man anime. (Chainsaw Man, Chapter 81)

1. Makima vs Denji

This is the same fight when Makima pulls out Pochita from his heart. They had a great hand to hand combat and both were able to injure each other critically. Denji is able to decapitate Makima and Makima punches Denji brutally. Makima is able to regenerate quickly using her powers. This fight is going to be so amazing and we really can’t wait to see it animated. (Chainsaw Man, Chapter 95)
