Those familiar with the Naruto anime or manga may have heard about these powerful demons or tailed beasts in the shinobi world. But many are left wondering how these beats came to be, their origins, how are they so powerful, and which one is the strongest. This guide will help you understand the Tailed beasts and their unique abilities. Read More: The Ultimate Guide To Naruto Filler List Table of Contents What Are Tailed Beast in Narutoverse? - Explained 9. Shukaku - One-Tailed Beast 8. Matatabi - Two-Tailed Beast 7. Isobu - Three Tailed Beast 6. Son Goku - Four-tailed Beast 5. Kokou - Five-Tailed Beast 4. Saiken - Six-Tailed Beast 3. Chomei - Seven-Tailed Beast 2. Gyuki - Eight-Tailed Beast 1. Kurama - Nine-Tailed Beast Final Verdict What Are Tailed Beast in Narutoverse? - Explained A long time ago, way before the hidden villages existed, there was the sage of six paths. His name was Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, he was ridiculously powerful and is known as the father of all shinobi. The ten tails was wreaking havoc in the village, killing a lot of innocents in the process, to put an end to this, Hagoromo sealed it in his own body. This brought peace to the villages nearby, but the fear of the ten tails escaping was always looming over Hagoromo’s head. If he were to die, then the ten tails would once again be free and go on a rampage. So to put an end to this beast, Asura the son of Hagoromo gave a brilliant idea of splitting the ten tails into 9 different tailed beats so as to contain the power more easily. Coming back to the time around Naruto’s birth, people had figured out how to harness the power of these tailed beasts. These tailed beasts used to cause a lot of destruction due to ill-treatment from the shinobis. Nevertheless, the shinobis would capture these tailed beasts and seal them away in a newborn child. This child will act as a prison for the beast, the child who has a tailed beast inside him/her is called a Jinchuriki. Once sealed away these beasts can’t escape, they’re free only when the Jinchuriki dies. If the tailed beast is extracted from the body of the Jinchuriki, he/she will die immediately. But having a tailed beast inside a shinobi isn’t the worst thing for him/her. The Jinchuriki if trained properly, can actually harness the power of the beast. The chakra that these Jinchuriki have is enormous making the Jinchuriki almost invincible. Now that we know these powerful beings came into existence, we can deep dive into each one’s powers and lore. 9. Shukaku - One-Tailed Beast Staring the list with the one-tailed beast, also known as Shukaku. It is a giant Tanuki i.e. raccoon that is completely composed of sand. He has blue markings all over his body and has giant fangs which look deadly, to say the least. It was first introduced in episode 78 of Naruto anime and chapter 134 of the manga. Before Hagoromo died, he had sent Shukaku to protect a temple in the desert which is known as the land of wind in the anime. There he was captured for the first time and taken back to the village hidden in the sands. Here he was used as a weapon of mass destruction. Shukaku gave the Kazekage leverage to negotiate with the rival villages. Though the desert village prospered due to the presence of Shukaku, the people in the village hated him. They though he was nothing more than a demon which needs to be sealed. Shukaku and the 9 tails i.e. Kurama are bitter rivals as Kurama thinks Shukaku is the weakest in all the tailed beasts. Shukaku has a unique set of abilities that become the most destructive when he’s in the desert. The major powers of Shukaku come from his wind and earth release, in addition to this, he also has a Keke Genkai, magma release making him even more scary and powerful. Shuakaku can also manipulate sand, it is one of his most powerful abilities. This ability is mostly used by Garra in anime. 8. Matatabi - Two-Tailed Beast Matatabi is a monstrous-looking wild cat, it looks like it is entirely composed of blue flames and nothing else. It has black-colored patterns all over its body. Matatabi was first introduced in episode 72 of the Naruto Shippuden anime and chapter 313 of the manga. Matatabi was sent out to protect a temple in the Canebrake region, but unfortunately in the first ninja war, it was captured by Hashirama Senju and later given as a token of friendship to the lightning village to maintain parity. Though Matatabi has a threatening look, it is the most polite tailed beast. Due to this, the bond between it and the human jinchuriki happens easily. As we mentioned earlier the entirety of Matatabi is covered in blue flames, this is because of its Chakra release. Matatabi doesn’t have any Keke Genkai and only has the fire release. In addition to these blue flames, Matatabi also gives the Jinchuriki cat like abilities. 7. Isobu - Three Tailed Beast Isobu is a giant turtle-like creature with three tails. The upper shell of his body is grey whilst the body is pinkish-red in color. The entire shell is covered in spikes to protect it from direct physical attacks. Hagoromo had sent Isobu out to protect the temple near a misty lake, which is the land of water in the Naruto anime. It was captured by Hashirama Senju, but due to his pacifist nature, he gave the beast away to the village hidden in the mist to balance the power between the leaf and the mist. Decades later, the three tails were sealed inside Rin by Madara. This was done to cause destruction in the leaf village, he had made Rin into a time bomb. But sensing the evil plans of Madara, Rin got herself killed by Kakashi, saving millions of livers in the process. Unlike Shukaku, Isobu is very timid and doesn’t speak too much. He is rather friendly with humans due to which the Jinchuriki of Isobu doesn’t have a hard time harnessing its power. Isobu uses water and yen release, in addition to this he can also manipulate mist causing hallucinations. 6. Son Goku - Four-tailed Beast Next on the list is the four-tailed beast who goes by the name Son Goku. Son Goku is a big red gorilla with sharp fangs and spikes over his 4 tails. The appearance of Son Goku is threatening to say the least. It was first introduced in chapter 567 of the manga and episode 165 of the Shipudden anime. Just like every other beast, Son Goku was also sent to protect a temple. He was supposed to protect the temple in the land of the earth, Hashirama Senju captured him and gave it away to the stone village as a sign of friendship. Son Goku doesn’t like fighting for humans, he thinks he is being enslaved by the humans. He is a very proud creature with an intimidating personality. His releases include earth, fire, lava, and also some taijutsu. Along with this he also has an arsenal of powerful justsu. 5. Kokou - Five-Tailed Beast Kokou has the most interesting and weird design out of all the tailed beasts. It has the body of a horse and the face of a catfish. Kokou is white in color and the color changes to light orange near the tails. It was first introduced in chapter 566 of the manga and episode number 165 of Naruto Shippuden. It was sent to defend the temple in the forest where it resided until Hashirama captured it. He then gave it away to the Iwagakure as a token of friendship. The 5 tails was later extracted from its Jinchuriki by the Akatsuki. The 5 tails beast has fire and water release along with the Keke Genkai boil release. Kokou can also use some jutsu unique to himself like boil unrivaled strength and horn breaking. Kokuo is rather friendly with humans and has a lot of willpower. 4. Saiken - Six-Tailed Beast Saiken is a large slug creature with long poking eyes just like snails. The body is entirely covered in a white slimy substance of some kind and he has a tint of blue as well. It has baby arms and legs which are rather useless in combat. Saiken or the 6 tails was first introduced in chapter 467 of the manga and episode 151 of the Shippuden anime. Before Hagoromo’s death, he sent Saiken to a humid region to defend a temple there. Hashirama captures it eventually and gives it away to the village hidden in the mist to maintain a balance of power. Saiken only uses the water release but combines this with his unique abilities and he is a force to be reckoned with. He uses bubbles and slime to slow down enemies whilst hitting them hard with his water release. 3. Chomei - Seven-Tailed Beast Chomei the seven tails is a large rhinoceros beetle with its tails ressembling wings. The body is blue in color and wings are a combination of yellow and orange. This majestic beast was first introduced in chapter 467 and episode 165. He was sent to defend a temple in a closed forest that had a lot of moss covering it. There it defended the temple until Hashirama finally captured it. Just like every other beast on the list, Hashirama gave this one away to maintain parity between the leaf and the village hidden in the waterfall. Chomei s the only tailed beast who isn’t in the hands of one of the 5 great Shinobi nations. Chomei is a playfully tailed beast who takes things too lightly. It doesn’t make use of any releases instead it uses a variety of bug-related Jutsu that destroy its enemies. 2. Gyuki - Eight-Tailed Beast Gyuki is one of the most popular Tailed beasts in the Naruto fandom. It is a combination of an Ox and an Octopus which is a pretty odd combination. The 8 tails has a brownish-purple hue to it. It has a monstrous size that dwarfs even the largest mountains. We saw it for the first time in episode 143 and chapter 413. Gyuki right after Hagoromo’s death was sent to protect a temple in an area covered with tall mountains. Hashirama eventually captured it and gave it away to the Kumigakure. Gyuki is one of the most powerful tailed beasts on the planet and it was under Killer B’s control for a long time. Killer B harnessed the power of Gyuki with great precision, he alone is powerful enough to take on an entire village. Gyuki doesn’t have any release, he instead uses various techniques known to him. Despite his lack of releases, he still is the second strongest Tailed beast after Kurama! 1. Kurama - Nine-Tailed Beast Kurama is by far the strongest and the most popular tailed beast. He has an aggressive appearance which matches his orange fur. Kurama is really proud of himself due to him having the most number of tails. He is really hard to take control of and doesn’t like to be used as a human slave just like Son Goku. Hagoromo had sent him to the land of fire to protect a temple where he resides. The gold and silver brothers were sent to capture Kurama but failed miserably, Kurama just swallowed them like it was no big deal. Somehow they managed to break free from Kurama gaining some of his powers. Later on, Madara Uchiha took control over Kurama, enslaving Kurama was no easy feat, but Madara Uchiha was one of the strongest Shinobi that ever lived. He used Kurama in a fight against Hashirama Senju, even with the immense power of Kurama Madra was no match for Hashirama. Kurama being too aggressive, Hashirama thought it would be wise to seal him away. Mito Uzumaki was the first Jinchuiki of Kurama. Later on, Kushina took the burden of sealing Kurama. But during Naruto’s birth, Obita set in motion a plan which involved targetting the week Kushina during child birth. This caused the nine tails to break free causing a rampage. Minato then sealed the ninetails inside Naruto their own child, killing him and his wife in the process. Kurama uses wind and fire release to destroy his enemies. With so many years of hating on the other tailed beasts, Kurama has developed a sense of pride due to which he can detect negative emotions. Final Verdict Along with the above-mentioned powers, all the tailed beasts are capable of using the tailed beast bomb which is the most devastating Jutsu. One single tailed beast bomb is enough to obliterate entire villages. Every tailed beast have their own unique abilities and personalities, though many think Kurama is the strongest he might not be. It’s especially amazing to visit the cafe at night as it sports moody blue lights that give you that sci-fi atmosphere. Why didn’t the anime series think of this in the first place? How cool it would have been seeing a giant Gundam restaurant just destroying everything in its path while being able to serve laté art. Review: "I visited the cafe in the morning on Sunday at about 11 a.m., and surprisingly there were not a lot of visitors. It was probably because it was raining. We bought curry, pizza, and Karaage among others. I drank coffee and a blue soda cocktail. What stood out was the Karaage and the curry, but I think the pizza could use a little more cheese! The drinks were also excellent. Those products seen in the menu were slightly overpriced, but we predicted that in a themed cafe. Other than that, it was a great time!” Location: 1-1 Kanda Hanaoka Cho, Chiyoda 101-0028 Tokyo Prefecture, can be found in Akihabara 17. Pokemon Cafe Okay, just look at the food. If that doesn’t make you want to go to this cafe, I don’t know what will. It’s a Pikachu pancake! Do you see how perfect his facial proportions are? This Pokemon Cafe found near Nihonbashi Station features an amazing array of Pokemon-themed food and a relaxing feel to it. Try lounging around the cafe and feel at ease. Who would’ve imagined that a day will arrive where you get to eat Pokemon. Don’t forget to apply for a reservation in advance as the cafe does not accept walk-ins. Review: “We were happily shocked by this themed Cafe, which could simply have been a tourist trap. It's run exceptionally well, and the food is reasonably priced (for a licensed/themed cafe). The entire trip is enjoyable, and you'll be hard-pressed not to smile as you leave.” Location: Nihombashi Takashimaya Shopping Center, 2-4-1 Nihombashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 103-8265 16. Tokyo Character Street I know you’ve been waiting for this part. I know you’ve been itching to find where you can buy anime goodies and souvenirs, and here I deliver! But it’ll be all worth it because you’ll find everything, and if you’re hungry after your long journey, you can find a Ramen shop or two. Review: “When you think of quirky, anime, adorable, and friendly Tokyo, this is just what comes to mind. Getting lost in Tokyo Station's commercial underground is as cool as it comes in this city; you get to witness the city's everyday hustle and bustle while discovering several interesting trinkets and local cuisine. It's a must-do!!!” Location: 1-9-1 First Avenue Tokyo Station, Marunouchi, Chiyoda 100-0005 Tokyo Prefecture 15. The Yoshihiro Yonezawa Library of Manga and Subculture The International Manga Museum you may have heard of is in Kyoto, but did you know there’s already another one in Tokyo? If you’re too tired or don’t have the budget to go to Kyoto, do I have good news for you! Tokyo International Manga Library which is planned to have 2 million manga, animation drawings, video games, and other artifacts can be found inside Meiji University. But hold your horses! The Tokyo International Manga Library is still in the works but there is a forerunning module facility, The Yoshihiro Yonezawa Library of Manga and Subculture which has all the neat features the Tokyo International Manga will have. You can read manga, watch anime from different eras, and even play video games! There’s even an Otaku Exhibition for free there so keep an eye out. Review: ”It is a Meiji University special library that is open on Saturdays, holidays, Mondays, and Fridays. The showroom on the first floor is open to access, but the libraries on the second and subsequent floors are not, except for Meiji University faculty and students. The showroom is small, but it is fascinating because it contains some of Yoshihiro Yonezawa's hundreds of thousands of comprehensive materials, as well as exhibits relating to manga and subculture.” Location: 1-7-1 Sarugaku-Cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 14. Real Life Anime Locations Have you wanted to shout the lines in the ending of Your Name? Have you wanted to run in the rain just like in Weathering With You? Do you want to experience the locations you see in your favorite anime? Then I got the list for you. Kanda Shrine (Love Live) Kanda Shrine is the location where Nozomi serves as a shrine maiden. If you’re that weeb who loves Love Live and has a thing for Nozomi, try visiting this awesome attraction. But be warned, don’t go pulling punch lines on the shrine maidens. Review: ”We marveled at the architecture for many hours here. We were completely awestruck by the shrine's vibrant colors and joyous atmosphere. This is a fantastic spot to spend a fall afternoon (or any afternoon).” Location: 2 Chome-16-2 Sotokanda, Chiyoda City, Tokyo 101-0021, Japan Azabu Hikawa Shrine (Sailor Moon) Azabu Hikawa Shrine is another famous real-life anime location found in Tokyo. From the popular 90’s series Sailor Moon, it is the place where Sailor Mars and her grandfather lived and worked at which is called Hikawa Shrine in the anime. If you’re looking to boost up that nostalgia again then I suggest giving this shrine a visit. Review: ”Indulge in the glory of ancient Japan right in the heart of Tokyo. Take a look at a prayer roll and see what it has to say about your future; it can be very telling. Although walking through the structures and spending quality time in a shrine might not be as relaxing as you had hoped, the color, energy, and people would make the experience worthwhile. It's a perfect picture chance to take along, and there are restaurants nearby to chill after that.” Location: 1-4-23 Motoazabu, Minato 106-0046 Tokyo Prefecture Bar Lupin (Bungo Stray Dogs) If you’re a fan of Bungo Stray Dogs, you may probably know that the characters are based on real-life individuals. Surprisingly, during the 1950s, Oda Sakunosuke, Osamu Dazai, and Ango Sakaguchi used to drink at Bar Lupin and the real-life location can be found in Ginza, Tokyo. This place is a must-visit for the fans of the series, drink while feeling like an anime character or even better a historical figure! We’re all getting old these days, at least that will assure you that you don’t feel out of place. Review: ”On a recent trip to Kyoto, I had the privilege of drinking at Bar Lupin. The proprietors were very pleasant and welcoming to a non-Japanese speaker. We had a great time talking and sampling a wide range of whiskeys. The other customers were pleasant and engaging. The ideal setting for unwinding and enjoying a drink.” Location: 5-5-11 B1F, Ginza, Chou 104-0061 Tokyo Prefecture Tabata Station and Minato Ku Shiba Park (Weathering With You) Tabata station is found in the scene where Hodaka first discovers Natsumi’s condition of being the sunshine girl. It plays a vital role in the series especially in telling us how soon Natsumi was going to be gone. Next is Minatokushiba Park where Hodaka and the gang were having fun. If you want to feel the emotion or even re-enact the scene with a special someone, then go to these locations and make those tears flow again. Just don’t go overboard and start praying for sunshine or something. Location (Tabata Station): 1-chōme-17 Higashi Tabata, Kita-Ku, Tōkyō-to 114-0013, Japan Location (Minato Ku Shiba Park): 4-chōme-8 Shibakōen, Minato-ku, Tōkyō-to 105-0011, Japan Steins; Gate This location can be seen in episode 1 of Steins; Gate and can be seen in real-life in Akihabara! I mean, there’s a time machine at the top of the Radio Kaikan Building. Just hope that it doesn’t fall and isekai you to a fantasy world. Other things it does have are Steins; Gate vending machines if you’re feeling thirsty after all that walking. Location: Outside Jr Akihabara Station Staircase at Suga Shrine (Your Name) This red staircase leading to Suga Shrine is one of the most famous real-life anime locations that can be found in Japan. If you’re lucky and run into a stranger, just scream at them and start breathing heavily as much as you can. And when they look back yell at them with this question, “What’s your name?!” and then run as fast as you can if they don’t reply. Location: 5 Sugacho, Shinjuku 160-0018 Tokyo Prefecture 13. Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai Real-Life Locations I decided to put this on the main list because the real-life locations of the anime are so vast and have so much to offer. They are on a completely different scale. The anime is based on real-life locations and there are so many that it cannot fit in this very list. Bunny Senpai was based on Fujisawa City as well as Enoshima Island among other locations. If you’re planning to visit all the locations you might just give yourself a day or two to visit all of them. Real-life locations include Shichirigahama Station, Shichirigahama Beach, Minegahara High School, and more. But it’s sad to say that you won’t find anyone wearing a bunny girl outfit even if you stay there for a year. 12. Suginami Animation Museum You all know Akihabara, the giant, the center of otaku culture but you may have never heard of Suginami Animation Museum especially those in the younger generation. For those that reached Suginami’s legacy, it’s time for you to shine! Suginami Animation Museum is like the guy who was the strongest before the main character finished his training arc. As the name suggests, Suginami is an Animation Museum that features all kinds of anime artifacts. It shows how animation in Japan started and lets you experience the grandpas of your favorite anime series. Review: ”It was free admission, but that was the best part. It was fascinating to learn about the origins of animation. They have some fun spaces as well as areas where you could sit and draw and trace images. The only criticism I have is that certain pieces were only in Japanese, which made it difficult to follow.” Location: 3-29-5 Kamiogi Suginami Hall 3F, Suginami 167-0043 Tokyo Prefecture 11. Tezuka Osamu Manga Museum Another attraction for those that experienced 90’s anime is the Tezuka Osamu Manga Museum. Wait! You don’t know Tezuka Osamu? The so-called “god of Manga”? Just keep reading and maybe this location might just become a priority in your list. Tezuka Osamu Manga Museum is dedicated to the legendary Tezuka Osamu whose works include Astro Boy and other series that became famous a while back. This place is quite a unique one because I mean they have 40 life-sized replicas of life support tanks that contain Tezuka’s masterpiece, Fire Bird! There’s a jungle cafe, a library, and even a shop. You know that you came to the right place when even the basement houses an Anime Laboratory which gives you the ability to make your anime. I mean, who wouldn’t want to make a personal anime, right? Review: ”I read quite a bit of his comics. In my heart, he is still one of the best manga artists. On the third floor of the museum, there is a cute little cafe and kiosk. It is suitable for a family of children. The best thing is that all of Osamu Tezuka's short films are available on their computers!” Location: 7-65 Mukogawacho, Takarazuka 665-0844 Hyogo Prefecture 10. Sanrio Puroland Do you think we’re done with all the cuteness? NO! Hello Kitty and friends are back and they pack a bigger punch! Sanrio Puroland is a theme park that only exhibits Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters. It’s cute! It’s adorable! Every corner you look, kawaii energy is already radiating back on you. Sanrio does not only have that sunshine energy but also has great food and entertainment. It was even visited by the biggest individual Youtuber, Pewdiepie. It’s fun for all ages even if you’re a young bachelor in his late 60’s. What are you waiting for? Get a taste of that sweet paradise of happiness. Review: ”Sanrio Puroland is a lot of fun for people of all ages. I took my seven-year-old daughter, who originally mistook Hello Kitty for a baby, and we all had a great time. The swings, exhibits, and games are all excellent, and there are many dining options throughout the park. It's simple to get there by train. We bought our tickets in advance on Klook, and both booking and redeeming them was a breeze (this is not something that is taken for granted in Japan, so I wanted to point it out).” Location: 1-31 Ochiai, Tama 206-8588 Tokyo Prefecture 9. Toei Animation Museum Are you curious about what’s on the inside? One thing that excites me the most is that you can take a picture with life-size cuts of all the PreCure All-Stars from Pretty Cure Playground! You can also wear PreCure Accessories if you’re feeling extra fashionable. In all seriousness, Toei Animation Museum is a great visit for those who are fans of series made by Toei Animation. It includes exhibits of One Piece, Astroboy, and others. The museum also gives you a fresh breath of anime history. You can even visit the workplaces of the animators who worked on series such as Butt Detective! Who wouldn’t want to see how Butt Detective was made. Review: ”The new Museum, which was recently renovated and remodeled, is fantastic. The most intriguing recent feature is a video touchscreen wall that displays every Toei animation from Hakujaden to the present. You will hover over any object for more information and (in some cases) video excerpts (such as openings and closings). It's an interesting way to see Toei's roots as well as the depth of their work.” Location: 2-10-5 Higashi Oizumi, Nerima 178-8567 Tokyo Prefecture 8. Nakano Broadway Now we’ve gotten to the big boys! Just like Akihabara, Nakano Broadway is a shopping complex in Tokyo that has gained popularity due to the anime and manga merchandise shops inside it. It may seem a bit overwhelming when you first enter it but make sure to go to the second and third floors because that’s where the anime and manga-related goods are. Limit your budget when entering because if you don’t, you may unconsciously spend your money that was supposed to be for your food. Review: ”This is a fantastic experience for anime, comics, and other manga enthusiasts. It's a shopping mall with a variety of small stalls/shops selling a variety of goods. Both new and vintage. It's got a little bit of everything in it. If you're a fan, it's worth a look.” Location: 5-52-15, Nakano, Nakano 164-0001 Tokyo Prefecture 7. Pokemon Center Tokyo DX Pokemon Center Tokyo DX is the biggest Pokemon Center in all of Japan! Come on, they even have a Snorlax statue. How can you not give this place a visit? Only being a short walk when exiting Tokyo Station, Pokemon Center Tokyo DX exhibits well…Pokemon. What were you expecting? Goku? Pokemon Center Tokyo DX houses the Pokemon Cafe we talked about previously and also has its exclusive items that can’t be found in any of the other Pokemon Centers. It even has a screen that looks like a hologram. Japan has truly peaked when you can find your favorite Pokemon’s info in 9 languages using the screen. Review: ”This was a hit for all of my girls, ages 3 to 13. My husband and I were highly impressed. There's a small gallery with some of the background of the cards/game, as well as a small interactive section, but this is mostly a Pokemon gift shop. We were sent a free specialty card only for showing up.” Location: 2-11-2 Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C. East Bldg. 5F, Nihonbashi, Chuo 103-0027 Tokyo Prefecture 6. Otome Road Of course, we won’t forget about all the lovely women out there. We have a special place just for you. Welcome to Otome Road, a paradise for female otakus! The name itself translates to Maiden Road so you shouldn’t have any more second thoughts. Otomo Road features a cafe for all the beautiful women out there called Swallowtail Butler Cafe. You can also choose from several stores that sell anime merchandise and manga made just for you. Especially if you’re into Yaoi this place is certainly a gold mine. It’s also one of the few anime and manga attractions in Japan where you can see cosplayers almost everywhere you go. Review: ”This part of town caters to females, with shops featuring their favorite child anime stars and idols. However, anyone who enjoys anime can enjoy it. It's a lot of fun to walk around this place, which has a lot of shops both downstairs and upstairs.” Location: 3 Chome Higashiikebukuro, Toshima 170-0013 Tokyo Prefecture 5. Ikebukuro Remember Otome Road? Well, you’ll find that here in Ikebukuro! Ikebukuro is home to many shops including anime and manga-related stores. So there’s a little bit for everyone, even for your non-otaku companions. Since Ikebukuro is an entertainment and commercial district, you won’t easily get bored here. If you want entertainment, you can go to Ikebukuro Nishiguchikouen (West Gate Park) as since it’s one of the busiest places in the district, there is an outdoor stage for events that happen on the weekend. You can also go to Sunshine 60 street where you can find all the stores that sell different kinds of goods, not just anime. There are attractions such as the Sunshine Aquarium where fish and sea lions perform. Now you don’t get to see that every day. As I’ve said, there’s a little something for everyone. Review: ”Located just outside of Ikebukuro station, this park is a famous open-air area for people of all ages. It was Sunday when we arrived, and a singer was entertaining the crowd. On a bright day, this is a great place to enjoy a Bento box.” Location: Northwest Tokyo 4. J-World Tokyo J-World Tokyo can also be found in Ikebukuro. With so many things to find there maybe you can find your waifu? Just kidding, no way will that happen but if it does, give me a call, I’ll pay you to teach me where and how. J-World Tokyo has attractions that have 3 different themes mainly: Naruto, One Piece, and Dragon Balls. Even the food in the restaurants is anime-themed with menus extended to include famous anime dishes. J-World Tokyo is for those fans that love their action-packed anime. If you’re a fan of these big 3 anime series and everything else Shonen Jump then don’t miss out. Review: ”Fantastic hangout spot for mates, families, and anime fans. There are so many things to do, delicious food to eat, nice people to talk to, and so much more.” Location: 3chome Higashi-Ikebukuro Sunshine City World Import Mart 3F, Toshima Tokyo Prefecture 3. The museum is more similar to a maze where you can find a reading room full of recommended books, a cafe, and a museum shop called Mamma Auito! We all know how hardcore you Ghibli fans are and this museum sure won’t disappoint you. There’s even a theater. Review: ”I purchased tickets online, and getting there was a breeze. Their lining-up scheme was both laid-back and well-organized. For both adults and youngsters, this is money well invested! I'd go back the next time I'm in town. You need not be dissatisfied.” Location: 1-1-83 Shimorenjaku, Mitaka 181-0013, Tokyo Prefecture 2. Gundam Base Tokyo Do you see that giant Gundam? It moves. Yes! You read that right, it moves. This grand display is 19.7 meters tall and is a replica of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam and it transforms into destroy mode in a specified time. If a transforming giant robot doesn’t impress you just get out. All jokes aside, Gundam is so iconic in Japan that there’s almost a culture that surrounds it. Not only does it have that beauty of a display but inside you can find everything about the series. And you can also find a cafe behind the Unicorn Gundam. It’s a must-visit for any of those interested in the franchise and the culture behind it. Review: ”Whether you know Gundam or not, the replica Gundam standing outside the mall is one of the best attractions in Tokyo. You can see the rotation of the display, which is awesome. Not every show is the same; it all is based on the hour; you can review the schedule online before going.” Location: 1-1-10 Aomi Diver City Tokyo Plaza, Koto 135-0064 Tokyo Prefecture Akihabara We all knew it was going to end up as number 1. This is the place where you spend most of your budget if you’re visiting Japan as an Otaku. There’s not much to be said about Akihabara, its reputation speaks for itself. Review: ”Akihabara is paradise on earth for me. Laugh out loud. All about this position appeals to me. Akihabara is a must-visit destination for manga and anime fans... as well as those who enjoy shopping for electronic goods. I've been to Akihabara many times and can't get enough of it.” Location: Sotokanda, Chiyoda 101-0021 Tokyo Prefecture Final Verdict: A few anime attractions were closed due to COVID-19 back in 2019 such as the Tokyo One Piece Tower. But don’t worry as there are more exciting places around Tokyo that will satisfy your expectations and make you love anime and manga culture a lot more. 17+ EXCITING Anime & Manga Attractions in Tokyo [Must Visit!] saaddhillon Last Updated on April 27, 2021 by saaddhillon Without a doubt, if you’re reading this you can travel and are truly passionate about anime and Read More » 15+ ANIME Like Gakuen Babysitters [Recommendations] Do you like babies!? Well, that question almost came out wrong. If you’re into anime that’s full of cuteness, wholesomeness, and a few emotional moments from time to time, then for sure you’ve heard of Gakuen Babysitters. Gakuen Babysitters has a hint of the sweet high school romance! It has a tsundere! It has great main characters! But most of all, the babies look adorable! Gakuen Babysitters is a Comedy Slice of Life anime that was handled by Brain’s Base studio. It has a total of 12 episodes and premiered last Winter 2018. The plot follows Ryuuichi Kashima and his little brother Kotarou. After losing both their parents in a plane crash, Ryuuichi now joins the babysitter club in exchange for the chairwoman of Morinomiya Academy to let them live with her for free and enroll Ryuuichi in the school without pay. This series just doesn’t involve babies, but it features a story of two brothers slowly adapting to a new environment without a family, but slowly they start to realize that they will never be alone. I know you’re reading this because you can’t get enough of Gakuen Babysitters. So I’ve prepared a list of 15+ anime that have similarities with Gakuen Babysitters to fulfill your heart’s desires. So my fellow anime enthusiast, let me take you for a ride! Read More: EPIC ACTION Korean Webtoons/Mahwa 16. Ore Monogatari Ore Monogatari is a wholesome one! It has love! But instead of babies, we get a gentle giant! The relation to Gakuen Babysitters is not that recognizable as it is most definitely a RomCom series rather than a slice of life. One of the things that they do have the same though is that the main character is easily misunderstood by those around him until others stand up for him and stay by his side no matter what. This kind of situation was rather a staple piece especially at the start of Gakuen Babysitters. Think of this series as Hayato getting into a relationship and Yagi not losing his unusual addiction for kids and becoming his best friend. Ore Monogatari is about Takeo Gouda, definitely not your everyday high schooler. His conquest for love began when he saved the cute and adorable Rinko Yamato from being molested. After he thinks that Rinko is interested in his best friend, Makoto Sunukawa, he acts as her helper even though he was also in love with her. Takeo has a lot of similarities with Ryuuichi especially in how they are both selfless and are willing to put others first. 15. Horimiya You might be wondering why Horimiya is on the list, but hold your horses and hear me out. Horimiya has some similarities to Gakuen Babysitters especially in how episodes progress. The story progresses in a manner that cannot be easily realized by the viewer. Another thing that Horimiya has that is the same with Gakuen Babysitters is how they portray the Slice of Life and Comedy genre realistically. It has characters that have similar characteristics to Gakuen Babysitters as well. Similar to Ryuuichi, Miyamura (the male main character) started to understand that no one can be alone, as he meets friends and eventually finds the love of his life. Horimiya is a Slice of Life, RomCom anime that features Izumi Miyamura, a timid and shy student who was alone for most of his life and was constantly bullied, and Kyouko Hori who is an independent and determined high school girl. As the days go by and they start to know each other, love eventually blossoms between the two, and a new world is opened up for Miyamura Izumi. It may not have babies, but that does not mean it doesn’t have characters who are as dumb as one. 14. Himouto! Umaru-chan She is not a baby! She just looks like one! Himouto! Umaru-chan is a slice-of-life anime just like Gakuen Babysitters. It features characters with the same tropes that are found in Gakuen Babysitters as well. Not only that, their comedic antics are closely similar to the series as well but it lacks the wholesomeness that encapsulates Gakuen Babysitters. Himouto! Umaru-chan is a pure comedic slice of life anime that offers little drama but packs a punch with its jokes and hilarious scenes. The series revolves around Umaru Doma who is a perfect high school student but once she gets home and wears her hamster hoodie, she becomes this lazy otaku that just does whatever she likes, leaving her brother, Taihei all the household chores. The series also has a set of characters that give more spice to the comedy such as the shy and quiet Ebina, the so-called rival Sylphynford, and the Hayato-like Kirie. Again, she just looks like a baby, and maybe even has the same IQ as one. 13. Tamako Market We had high schoolers who were as dumb as a baby, we had an otaku who looks like a baby, but now we get-a talking bird! Yes. A talking bird who’s addicted to mochi. One thing for sure that makes Tamako Market have similarities with Gakuen Babysitters is that it is Slice of Life anime through and through. It features the everyday life of Tamako Kitashirakawa, just like in Gakuen Babysitters where the story revolves around the daily life of Ryuuichi inside the daycare. But instead of daycare, we have a market and instead of babies, you have a bird who has a bigger ego than that one guy who just got a raise. Tamako Market also has the wholesomeness and subtle comedy and romance in Gakuen Babysitters. As I’ve said Tamako Market revolves around the life of Tamako and the market where everyone knows everyone. Tamako belongs to a family of mochi bakers. On a fateful day, she finds Dera Mochimazzi, a bird who proclaims that he is royalty from a distant land and is in search of a bride for his nation’s prince. But Dera takes on an unusual addiction to Mochi, becomes overweight, and can no longer return to his homeland. He lives in Tamako’s house and becomes the mascot. There is also a little romance involved as Tamako’s childhood friend Mochizou continues to hide his feelings from her. 12. K-On! What goes well with wholesomeness? Music and a Tea Party! K-On! is another wholesome slice of life anime that is set in a Japanese high school. But instead of daycare or your typical high school student, K-On! features the four (and then five) high school girls that reside within the Light Music Club. The series shows their day-to-day life just like in Gakuen Babysitters but adds a little uniqueness with their songs and performances. It also has comedy, a little bit of drama that can be found in high school, as well as their journey to achieve their dream. The band name is “Afterschool Tea Time”. The band members include The forgetful main character Yui Hirasawa who plays the guitar and is the lead vocalist; The energetic Ritsu Tainaka who plays the drums; The shy Mio Akiyama, the second vocalist, and bassist; The wealthy and naive Tsugumi Kotobuki who plays the keyboard and; a member who will arrive at the later part of the series, Azusa Nakano who also plays the guitar. Together they bring out wholesome laughs and adorable antics that can’t help but make you smile. The series also has several original songs that can make your day flutter with happiness. 11. Nichijou Nichijou is one of the funniest and wackiest slice of life anime you will ever see in your life. Forget about the talking bird, this time we have a talking cat, a principal tries to suplex a deer, a crow is also talking, and there’s even a robot caretaker. What more could you want? Nichijou - My Ordinary Life is literally about the life of the 6 main characters where again one is a robot, one is a talking cat, and also adds a young genius into the mix. Gakuen Babysitters have a more realistic slice of life but Nichijou is like Gakuen Babysitters but drinks coffee 3 times a day. It’s also set in a high school setting just like in Gakuen Babysitters but lacks the emotional drama as it's a full-blown slapstick comedy. Nichijou is the anime series that took all of Gakuen Babysitters' comedy and put them in a high school setting. It’s like a series out of all the imaginations of the babies in the daycare in Gakuen Babysitters. Maybe this is what Usaida is dreaming about. 10. Chibi☆Devi! We finally have babies! Well…devil babies. Chibi☆Devi! is a series that just like Gakuen Babysitters tackles the hardships of taking care of babies but this series just has a “devilish” twist in it. It features the activities that can be found in Gakuen Babysitters such as nap-time and story-time. One thing that sets this apart from Gakuen Babysitters, however, is that the series is geared towards much younger audiences so you won’t find the emotional drama, and the comedy is built for those at a young age. The series is focused on Honoka Sawada who doesn’t believe in devils and such but one day a devil baby named Mao was dropped into her room while she was asleep and is now enlisting the help of Shin Sugisaki to help her in dealing with the unusual circumstances. 9. My Roommate is a Cat From a talking bird to devil babies and back to an ordinary cat. This may seem like a downgrade but keep reading, this series has a lot more in common with Gakuen Babysitters than you thought. It perfectly re-enacts the situation Ryuuichi and Kotarou are in where their parents died in an accident leaving them alone. But in My Roommate is a Cat, the main character is living in solitude until he meets Haru, a grey cat he decided to take care of. He is similar to Ryuuichi because he is put in a situation where he must take care of someone/something other than himself. Although, instead of being like Ryuuichi who is responsible, Subaru can’t even seem to take care of himself. The similarities don’t stop there, after his fateful meeting with Haru, Subaru is now being acquainted with more and more people and is slowly leaving his introverted life. My Roommate is a Cat that builds up an entire story from the “stray gets picked up from the streets” cliche in other anime series and that itself is amazing. It’s heartwarming and also involves funny scenes. Even though Haru has a backstory, the series makes sure that you get to know and fall in love with the characters. 8. Poco’s Udon World Just by looking at the picture you can tell that even in the art style, Poco’s Udon World and Gakuen Babysitters are starting to look alike. But only do they look alike but there are also similarities in their plot and concept. Poco’s Udon World is more intertwined with fantasy while Gakuen Babysitter is telling their story from a more realistic perspective. I mean Poco’s Udon World has a shapeshifting Tanuki. The main characters of the two series also lost both their parents. Poco’s Udon World also has that wholesome tone to it and also talks about the past of the main character, Souta Tawara. There are also similarities in how the supporting characters act and their main characteristics. The storytelling is also similar to Gakuen Babysitter where there is no definitive storyline, the series is just taking us through the daily life of the characters. So, if you’re not into talking birds and cats, maybe you’re more into a shapeshifting Tanuki named Poco. 7. Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge This anime is if you imagined Usaida and Ryuuichi changed attitudes. I guess this is what Usaida’s dreams must be about. Also called Tanaka-kun is Always Listless in English it revolves around the main character Tanaka, who doesn’t want to exert energy, and his dependable friend Oota (blonde Usaida) as they encounter extraordinary events while living their high school lives. It’s a slice-of-life comedy anime that focuses on the dream of the main character to live a peaceful and quiet life. It also has a pretty unique art style. The similarities it has with Gakuen Babysitters lie in the basic concept of Tanaka’s daily life. While being the opposite of the responsible Ryuuichi, both series focus on the daily life of the characters and the unusual situations that happen in them. Its style of comedy is also similar to Gakuen Babysitters as well as its list of characters. 6. Sweetness & Lightning We finally reached it! If you’re the one who just scrolled all the way here to find an anime that involves taking care of a real baby, you’ve done it! The anime focuses on the life of Kouhei Inuzaka who is taking care of his daughter Tsumugi after his wife passed away. Because of his busy life and his inability to cook, he usually feeds both of them food from the convenience store. He takes up an offer from his student Kotori, and he and Tsumugi eat and cook together with Kotori. In terms of similarity with Gakuen Babysitters, first off, they both stick to the realistic manner of portraying the slice of life genre. He is also in the same situation as Ryuuichi but this time he’s the father. There is also a hint of drama involved especially in the characters' current situation. It’s a wholesome anime that involves cooking, family, and emotions. In a sense, it's more realistic than Gakuen Babysitters especially in how it deals with the character’s feelings. 5. How to Keep a Mummy Look at that mummy! Who in this world would not think that that’s not cute? And there’s more where that came from. How to Keep a Mummy essentially replaced the babies in Gakuen Babysitters with unique cute pets. The story is all about a high school student named Sora Kashiwagi who receives bizarre gifts from his father who travels the world. When he receives a present that came from Egypt he’s shocked to find a little mummy named Mii-kun. As they go along with their lives they start to meet other people with extraordinary pets. This is essentially Gakuen Babysitters if it were set in Night at the Museum. Both series are cute and wholesome. You can’t help but smile at their antics and their amusing everyday lives. Who wouldn’t enjoy that heartwarming tea-cup size cuteness overload? 4. Bunny Drop Bunny Drop is similar to Sweetness & Lightning but instead of the main character being a single father he is now a 30-year old bachelor who just goes with the flow. The story begins when Daikichi Kawachi was paying his respects to his grandfather. He meets a shy girl named Rin Kaga who is being rejected by Daickihi’s grandfather’s relatives after his death as they think she is a shame to the family as she was shockingly his Daikichi’s grandfather’s illegitimate daughter. Furious, Daikichi decides to take Rin as his own and so his journey to fatherhood starts. Bunny Drop has close ties with Gakuen Babysitters especially in how the series’ main characters try to discover and rediscover the warmth and kindness of a close-knit family. Bunny Drop includes wholesome scenes. The series is rare in the anime world because it deals with a subject that is often taken seriously. This slice of life anime will surely make you smile and maybe make you shed a tear or two. 3. Barakamon Barakamon is not about taking care of children but it’s about discovering yourself while being in contact with one. The plot of Barakamon is centered on Seishu Handa who is a narcissistic and talented calligrapher who was exiled to the Goto Islands after losing his cool when his work was called unoriginal. He meets his wacky neighbors who keep barging into his home, one of which is Naru Kotoishi, a very annoying child. While in exile and always being kept busy by his neighbors, he starts to learn new things that began to change his view on so many things in life. Gakuen Babysitters primarily focuses on antics as well as having subtle emotional scenes such as the case with Barakamon. But Barakamon tends to focus on one of Seishu’s views on life instead of his situation. It has similarities with the comedic scenes in Gakuen Babysitters as well as the way it portrays a slice of life. Maybe by watching this anime, you can learn something that will change your perspective about the world. 2. Baby and Me You may be thinking, what’s an anime that premiered in 1996 doing here? Well, because it is one of the most similar anime to Gakuen Babysitters of course! Maybe even its grandfather or something. Such as I said it's similar to Gakuen Babysitters because the mother of the main character, Takuya Enoki’s mother passed away and now he must sacrifice his childhood, even as a 5th grader to take care of his little brother as his father is busy working as your typical Japanese salaryman. Takuya’s situation is almost the same as Ryuuichi as they both try their best to find the true meaning of family. Baby and Me is essentially a drama-comedy anime. It portrays a situation that happens in real life and the story is beautiful on its own. It may be old but it sure is worth watching. 1. Hanamaru Youchien Hanamaru Youchien or Hanamaru Kindergarten is the closest anime just like Gakuen Babysitters. The main character might not have the same family situation just like Ryuuichi but the scenarios, comedy, and slice of life elements of the two series are like twins. Hanamaru Youchien also has that subtle romance where the main character, Naozumi Tsuchida is in love with Nanako Yamamoto who supervises the class next door. Its structure of events is also similar to Gakuen Babysitters. The show is as wholesome as it gets pretty funny because it’s one of the few anime where a big part of the story is where Anzu, a kindergartener fell in love with Naozumi. The series is relaxing, fun, and just all-around laid-back. It’s a must-watch if you liked Gakuen Babysitters. Final Verdict Most of the series listed here are a slice of life and that’s what Gakuen Babysitters was all about. It showed the everyday life of the characters. Their problems, their emotions, but most of all it talked about what it meant to have family and someone to rely on. Self-discovery and understanding are important but sometimes you need to help those around you. 15+ ANIME Like Gakuen Babysitters [Recommendations] Ernie Last Updated on April 27, 2021 by saaddhillon Do you like babies!?

Do you like babies!? Well, that question almost came out wrong. If you’re into anime that’s full of cuteness, wholesomeness, and a few emotional moments from time to time, then for sure you’ve heard of Gakuen Babysitters. Gakuen Babysitters has a hint of the sweet high school romance! It has a tsundere! It has great

Toga Himiko Cosplay - @seracoss (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNyzlM9h6AP/ The problematic part of the League of Villains, this cosplay is based on Toga Himiko who's one of the most influential antagonists we've ever seen in the world of My Hero Academia. Being one of the cutest but problematic and sometimes HATEFUL characters, Toga Himiko is a sadistic one! She's killed a lot of people in the series, however, that smile... It never GOES AWAY! Characters like these are bound to become popular as Toga Himiko has been killin' it for quite some time. Well, back to the subject in hand, this My Hero Academia cosplay is done by seracoss who is a cosplayer from Japan! That's right! Straight from Japan, she managed to make such a visually stunning yet realistic cosplay of Himiko, and it's a pleasure to see as an Anime fan. Keep up the good work! Quality: 5 Accuracy: 8 Presentation: 6 Effort: 6 Total: 25 out of 40 13. Tsuyu Asui Cosplay - @uzileks (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNxlnPupxX-/ Tsuyu Asui, aka FROPPY, is one of the cutest girls in the My Hero Academia series. Well, not for everyone but there's that. Tsuya has been helping other heroes for so long, and no matter how you look at her she's a blunt one! Always saying what she's feeling, you don't want to get into a logical fight with her. Aside from that, Tsuyu's personality is calm and composed, and she loves to creep people out even if it's not her intention. This cosplay is done by a user named uzileks, also known as UZI BABY. And I kid you not, this is one of the most stunning cosplays we've ever seen. The makeup is done quite well, and most of all, the vibe she's trying to portray is something that lives up to its hype. In other words, it's a great try! Quality: 6 Accuracy: 6 Presentation: 7 Effort: 7 Total: 27 out of 40 12. Ochako Uraraka - @panda.cosp (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNp9Bwfrap8/ Now, we all love Uraraka as she's the best girl from My Hero Academia. I mean, just look at her, the cuteness is overloaded. Training to become the pro hero, Uraraka has a curvy figure, and it makes sense why she's hard to cosplay. Being one of the most laid-back girls, it's each to fall in love with Uraraka. However, she's passionate about everything she does. And when we talk about our My Hero Academia cosplay here, you can see that the resemblance is uncanny. Lucy, also known as panda.cosp on Instagram has nailed it with this cosplay. It looks amazing no matter how you look at it. And most of all, her cuteness matches that of Uraraka, and she's like a living example of Uraraka's existence which is just AMAZING! Quality: 7 Accuracy: 7 Presentation: 7 Effort: 6 Total: 27 out of 40 11. Ms. Joke Cosplay - @lenchen.emily (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2b5vasIQW2/ One of my favorite characters from the My Hero Academia series is Emi Fukukado, aka, Ms. Joke. Even though she's a muscular woman with a loveable personality, Emi is super-cute. Being one of the most cheerful characters from the MHA series, Ms. Joke is goofy but cute at times. All these sides of her will force you to fall in love with such a wholesome character. Well, didn't go her way as Aizawa still doesn't give an F. Aside from that, Yuni has done an exceptional job in providing us a stunning MHA cosplay here. This is just super-wholesome and I'm sure everyone would love her cosplay. Quality: 7 Accuracy: 6 Presentation: 8 Effort: 7 Total: 28 out of 40 10. Kirishima Cosplay - @miikhydeafening (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMC_GlZjWjr/ I mean, who doesn't like Kirishima in the first place? The Red Riot has had a lot of times where he let himself lose, and that's where all the fangirling started. One of the manliest guys from My Hero Academia, Kirishima loves things that are not manly. On the other hand, being all rowdy, this guy can kick some serious ass, and we see him receiving love from every corner of the planet. This Kirishima Cosplay is done by a fan of Kirishima. At least that's what it seems. Well, the cosplay itself is pretty freaking badass. Even though this is a gender-bender one, I love the details and passion in the cosplayer's eyes. She's done an amazing job of providing us an accurate cosplay that is pleasing to look at. Quality: 7 Accuracy: 5 Presentation: 8 Effort: 8 Total: 28 out of 40 9. Dabi Cosplay - @_yukiko.cosplay_ (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CN60I6ELuLC/ Dabi is probably one of the most famous My Hero Academia characters of all time. He's strong, he's a good look, and most of all, he's SERIOUS. Wanting to surpass All Might, Dabi has some high goals and that's pretty badass. Anyways, in his childhood, Dabi used to be an energetic one, however, after certain events (not going to spoil, don't worry,) Dabi became a truly stoic lad who's not fazed by others. This Dabi cosplay is just AMAZING. The details, makeup, and everything just seem amazing. Only if the photography was a little professional, BUT! We understand! In these tough times, it's hard to go out and risk your lives. In that sense, this is one of the best My Hero Academia cosplays of all time. Quality: 8 Accuracy: 6 Presentation: 7 Effort: 8 Total: 29 out of 40 8. Mina Ashido Cosplay - @mawariyuu (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEAb-QvKEFs/ Love comes in all colors. However, this one's pink. Another female character who's training to become a pro hero, Mina is super-wholesome in every action she takes. Having that cute smile all over her face, Mina is also a dancer. But if you're wondering that she's yet another girl, you're WRONG! Mina is super-athletic and her abilities are great. In other words, Mina is a waifu material for most Otakus out there, and it's a FACT! This beautiful cosplay here is just astonishing to the point where I can't even believe it. I don't know how the cosplayer managed to get those lenses or such flawless makeup done, but someone tells her that she's done a great job in doing so! Moreover, the whole overall vibe is something we can't ignore. All in all, great job done by the cosplayer in showing us that even though the world is closed, it's still possible to keep your passion in check. Quality: 7 Accuracy: 7 Presentation: 7 Effort: 10 Total: 31 out of 40 7. Tomura Shigaraki Cosplay - @ta6464_ (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CN4cxu5l-uK/ Guys! I gotta tell you. This one is SICK. Tomura Shigaraki is that one guy whose face wasn't initially shown in the My Hero Academia series. He's the leader of League of Villains, and this guy has been a shady one throughout the series. This cosplay is so well-put that I can't even describe it. Especially the hand on the cosplayer's face, this is one of the most unique My Hero Academia cosplays we've seen in a while. Even though with cool photography, this cosplay would've turned out to be a SICK one, this is plenty good especially if you look at the world's situation in these times. CURSE YOU CORONAVIRUS! Quality: 7 Accuracy: 9 Presentation: 6 Effort: 9 Total: 31 out of 40 6. Shoto Todoroki - @remydominocosplay (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMu7y31DbzY/ AY! For all the Todoroki fangirls out there, this is a literal blessing. Are you all ready for the best Todoroki cosplay that we've seen in a while? Well, there you have it. Todoroki has been an amazing character in the series. One of the strongest students and an influential character that made Midoriya come out of his comfort zone, this guy was surely a badass. And when we talk about this beautiful cosplay based on traditional Japanese outfits, it screams perfection. The makeup is great, the quality is great, and everything else is just phenomenal! Quality: 9 Accuracy: 7 Presentation: 8 Effort: 8 Total: 32 out of 40 5. Deku Cosplay - @rikkablurhound (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/BrPFF5IBmCZ/ Deku, our main protagonist deserves everything in life. Who knew he'll get one of the best cosplays done in recent times? Well, there's a long history of failures attached to Deku's life, however, this cosplay is not a failure. It's a gem to be featured in one of our articles. Especially, the editing and effects added to the cosplay make it seem even more appetizing. This is just stunning in every way! Quality: 9 Accuracy: 8 Presentation: 8 Effort: 8 Total: 33 out of 40 4. Momo Cosplay - @reflektierte_wahrheit (Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNxYQXwrO8Z/ Momo is the crush of so many MHA fans. From her awesome personality to that sexy figure, you just can't ignore her presence in the series. Fans are longing for more MOMO screen-time. Well, I believe in Momo supremacy as she's my favorite waifu from the MY Hero Academia series. But guys, someone tells this cosplayer that she's done an amazing job in portraying one of the best-looking Momo cosplays in history. It's more of a privilege to see it on the internet at this point. Quality: 10 Accuracy: 9 Presentation: 8 Effort: 8 Total: 35 out of 40 3. Overhaul Cosplay - @killcade_cosplay(Instagram) Our Yakuza boy got his cosplay, eh. One of the main antagonists that have been giving trouble to most of the characters in the My Hero Academia series, this guy is intimidating to the point where you can't even comprehend. The cosplayer here has done such a phenomenal job in everything. From efforts to the overall presentation, this one is a gem right here. Quality: 8 Accuracy: 8 Presentation: 10 Effort: 10 Total: 36 out of 40 2. Bakugo Cosplay - @alexasenpaii(Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/CN6EgpyDjcV/ Ma man Bakugo, or is it, my girl, BAKUGO! Whatever the case is, Bakugo is my favorite character from the My Hero Academia series. And I think that's surely the case with a lot of people out there. This Bakugo cosplay is done by a QUEEN! AlexaSenpai on Instagram has done an excitingly amazing job to make sure that this cosplay remains one of the most epic Mha cosplays this world will ever see. Quality: 9 Accuracy: 9 Presentation: 10 Effort: 10 Total: 38 out of 40 1. All Might - @just_plain_chris(Instagram) And if you thought I'll forget All Might, well, NEVER! That one man that everyone in My Hero Academia looks up to, All Might is a MIGHTY ONE! Well, this cosplay is something I never thought was possible until Chris did it on Instagram. And I kid you not, this is just brilliant. From details to presentation, everything is perfection. Quality: 10 Accuracy: 10 Presentation: 10 Effort: 10 Total: 40 out of 40 Final Verdict These My Hero Academia cosplayers have ignited the flame once again. 37+ EPIC Action Korean Webtoons (MANHWA) of all Time! Even though you might think that Korean Webtoons or Manhwa are just for the Slice of Life genre, you would be surprised to see how many ACTION Webtoons are out there. Well, in these recent times, Manhwa are getting quite a lot of hype, and most of all, they’re fun and competitive to look at if we compare them directly to Manga! I can’t say that Webtoons are better than Manga in any way. However, these are the 37+ EPIC Action Korean Webtoons/Manhwa that you should definitely check out. The Tower of God Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Romance If you make it to the top of the tower, any dream can become reality. In the Tower of God, Regulars (the chosen ones) have been constantly climbing the Tower in the hopes of making their wish come true. Baam is an irregular among them, and he was not chosen but entered the Tower through his own will. Ban wishes to be reunited with his friend Rachel. The Anime is darker than it looks like! Noblesse Genre: Vampire, Supernatural, School Rai, short for Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, is a powerful vampire, a noble with pure blood. He has been asleep for now 820 years and woke up in a modern world he knows nothing about. Living a double life, he tries to fight the secret organization that is trying to uncover his past while he acts as a normal high school student. Noblesse is full of ups and downs, but most of all, the action in this Korean Webtoon is crazy! The God of High School Genre: Action, Martial Arts, Fantasy "The God of High School" is a Martial Arts tournament held in Seoul. People all around Korea participate to earn the title of the number 1 martial artist. But that's not all, the winner is granted any, one wish, of his desire. Jin Mori is one of the participants in this year's tournament. But it turns out that the competition is a façade for something much greater. This Manhwa became so popular that it was also turned into an anime. Bastard!! Genre: Horror, Thriller, Drama, Psychological What would you have done if your father was a deranged serial killer and was forcing you to be his accomplice? Would you coward in fear or would you find the courage to betray him? That’s the dilemma the Seon Jin is currently facing. In Bastard!!, everything is scary to the point where it might become hard for you to even read. So, if you’re fan of some of the most murderous and brutal scenes, why not give it a try? The Breaker Genre: Action, Psychological, Slice of Life, Martial Arts Shi-Woon is a coward. He never stood up for himself in his entire life. That led to a gang constantly bullying him. Fed-up with his current situation and with no way out he starts thinking of committing suicide. But suicide also requires courage. He then remembers that his teacher, Chun-Woo once defeated on his own, another gang. Another solution rises in his mind. Become the disciple of his teacher and become strong. But getting Chun-Woo to help him turned out to be the most difficult part of the process. If you’re a fan of Girls of the Wild’s Genre: Comedy, Action, Martial Arts, Romance Song Jae Gu is the only male student in an all-girls private school. Having to take care, alone, of his two siblings, he had no other choice but to accept the school invitation since they offered him a scholarship. But this is no ordinary school, it's a school created for girls, masters of martial arts, and to teach them how to behave as a maiden of society. None of them ever had any interaction with a boy, and Song Jae Gu is peeking all of their interests. Girls of the Wild’s is full of Romance and Action. So, if you are in it for some of the badass-looking scenes, this Manhwa is highly recommended. Peerless Dad Genre: Action, Martial Arts, Noh Ga Jang is an ex-mercenary, but one day decides to put this dishonest life behind him to start a brand new chapter. He got married and had a child. Now, a father with obligations to protect and tend to the needs of his family, he takes one the post of a door guard. Unfortunately, his remarkable fighting abilities do not go unnoticed and he ends up having to accept dangerous missions. How will he manage to keep up with this new job and fulfill his fatherly duties? That’s the catch in Peerless Dad Manhwa. Burning Effect Genre: Action, Psychological, Slice of Life, Martial Arts Burner, our MC, lives in a world where any crime, no matter how small, is punishable by death. Her city is divided into six blocks. Each block is controlled by an Administrator whose purpose is to eradicate all crime. Burner lives in Block five, the most difficult job to live in because of its dictator Administrator, Great. She has been living her life, head down, just trying to make enough money to leave her district. But one day, she witnessed a young boy getting kidnaped. Unable to do nothing, she shows off her mastery of Martial Arts and defeats all the kidnappers to free the boy. The next day, however, she finds the same boy dead, killed by a character named Great for stealing a Teddy Bear. Filled with uncontrollable rage, and disgusted by the society she puts it on herself to change the rules that are governing the world. And it all starts by destroying Great. Cheese in the Trap Genre: Romance, Comedy, School, Slice of Life Seol is an A student who finally comes back to school after taking a gap year. She gets acquainted with Jung, AKA Mr. Perfect and suddenly her life starts turning into a big disaster. All of this begins when she met Jung, is it a coincidence or is he the one pulling the strings behind the curtains? While the Webtoon is not an Action one, it is so popular that we have to recommend this! No hard feelings, okay? There are action scenes from time to time involved as well! unOrdinary Genres: Romance, Fantasy, Slice of Life John was born powerless in a world where having special abilities is normal. A world ruled by those abilities. But John is hiding a secret, a secret so big that it threatens the entire world's order. He has the power to change the fundamental values that society was built on, but didn't act on it… Yet. We say that information is power and with power comes responsibility. How will a weak human, with no power, manage to fulfill his destiny when powerful foes are waiting at every corner? unOrdinary has a great Action aspect to it, making it one of the best Action Manhwas of all time. Gosu Genre: Action Gang Yong wants to taste the bitterness of revenge. His master is now dead, only one thing has to be done! Punish those who wronged him. Having to travel while hiding his identity, he disguises himself as a fat delivery boy. Gosu is such a nice Anime for those of you who are looking for an Action Webtoon series.
