9. Attack On Titan OP 1 - Guren No Yumiya

The current Attack on Titan opening that we have is pretty awesome, but in this writers humble opinion, it can’t match the overall hype that the first one gave us. In terms of working out, hype is what you want to get you through those hard reps and final pushes at the end of whatever you’re doing. This song just hits all the right beats to motivate someone, which is good as long as you don’t take the somewhat sketchy lyrics to heart and just care about the sounds.

Ok so we’re technically cheating with this one but we have a few reasons. One, this song is used as the OP for Dragon Ball Z, but in Japan and no it’s not this version of the song. This version of the song, being made by the bang FLOW, who are well known for doing anime OPs, was made for the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods movie. Gundam OPs can be a little all over the place in terms of genre of music and the tone of the music. That’s largely due to the different themes and styles that each of the different series. 2. Baki OP 2 - The Gong Of Knockout

Just like we said with Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, just looking at Baki will make someone want to workout. But it’s not just Baki, pretty much every male character that gets more than like 3 lines of dialogue and isn’t an old man is super jacked. This song is metal as hell and it has a good balance between its more standard vocals and it’s more screamo style that really blend together well with the instruments basically becoming one in the process.
