Kisaki Tetta

Tetta Kisaki Wiki

It is no surprise that the villains can be the spotlight of the show, being even more loved than the protagonist. However, Tetta isn’t one of those villains. In fact, as the antagonist of the Tokyo revenger series, he’s actually one of the evilest characters by far.

Even though he is evil, Kisaki is actually interesting. And that’s partly because he’s shrouded in so much mystery. Well, have no fear as today, we’re going to be shedding some light on his character. Without further ado, Let’s get right into it.

Appearance

When it comes to appearance, you’re either going to love this guy or hate him. Standing at 164cm tall, Kisaki always seems to be in a bad mood. He wears a serious face wherever he goes to assert dominance, and his glasses are the perfect icing on the cake.

You could regard his appearance as evil, or you might consider it cool. In the end, it’s up to you to decide whether his appearance is good or bad. Aside from his serious face, he has blonde hair and wears a black jacket with a white belt to complement his poker face; his “badass” look is completed by the cool earring he wears on his left ear.

Personality

As an evil gang leader, it should come as no surprise that he harbors one of the worst personalities in the anime. He doesn’t look at other humans as people understood; instead, he thinks of them as tools to be manipulated.

His lack of empathy, combined with his burning ambition to attain whatever he desires, resulted in him becoming the leader of a very powerful gang. He has no respect for his subordinates and would sacrifice them in a heartbeat to acquire his goals. What’s even more ironic is that despite his ruthless behavior, he still has complete control over his gang. No one can dare deny his undisputed authority.

However, the thing that makes him interesting as a character is his insecurity. Yup, you read that right. Despite being the leader of a formidable gang, Kisaki actually had a past where he was an isolated kid. His insecurity as a child leads him to become the evil person we witness in the show. More on that later in this blog!

Another good thing about his personality is that he isn’t a villain you can empathize with. The manga makes sure to portray him in the vilest way possible. This is actually a good thing, as it’s becoming more and more common to have villains in an anime with a “soft” side. So in a way, this makes his character a bit more original.

Strengths and Skills

Capricorns are only focused on their goals and they don't see anything when it comes to achieving that goal. Anything that tries to distract them from hustling, they discard it. Tetta Kisaki is a badass and a violence loving guy. He loves tormenting other people for the sake of his own pleasure and doesn't care about his subordinates or even his dear ones! So, if you're a Capricorn you're the ruthless Tetta Kisaki.

Despite being the leader of the most influential gang in his city, Kisaki’s fighting skills aren’t over the top. As a leader, he relies on his intelligence and charisma to acquire his ambitions. In fact, he’s so intelligent that he’s managed to exploit Takemichi’s plans more than once, even though Takemichi has the power to time travel.

Overall, he’s a decent fighter with a trick or two up his sleeves; though his trump card in the survival battle of life will always be his intelligence

Facts

Ø  Tetta was born on the 20th of January, making him an Aquarius.

If you like studying personality signs, then you know that Aquarius are rebels at heart; this is actually quite fitting since he is the main antagonist of the show.

Ø  Despite being good at fighting, he only weighs 58kg

If you’re someone who really loves watching UFC, you know having more muscle weight is a huge advantage in a fight. Kisaki doesn’t have a lot of muscle mass, but against all odds, he’s still a pretty decent fighter.

Ø  His age in the past is 13 years, and his age in the future is 25 years.

If you’re watching Tokyo Revengers then you know there are two timelines, this one’s pretty much self-explanatory.

Ø  He likes to color his hair, but his original hair color is actually black.

If I were the leader of a really cool gang, I’d have to color my hair too, I guess. It just makes you that much bossy.

Past/History

We know how this guy turns into one of the most ruthless villains of the city, but what’s more interesting is why he became the monster he is. You see, throughout his entire childhood, Kisaki had always been frail and weak. Eventually, his weakness became the reason for his isolation.

Having lived most of his life in isolation, he lost his ability to empathize with people. To him, humans became something he watches from a distance; much like a scientist that observes the rats for research purposes only.

Over time, he understood human nature better than anyone. And that’s exactly why he can exploit anyone, making him a manipulative mastermind.

Relationships

Not much is known about his parents or his siblings. However, we do get to witness how he falls into an obsession with Hinata. The reason I use the term “obsession” instead of “love” is because he wanted to have her no matter what.

When Hinata rejected him, instead of bottling up the rejection like a man, he killed her. This is enough proof that he never loved her. Instead, it was just an obsession. This honestly doesn’t come as a surprise, as his psychological state was quite twisted because of the childhood trauma.

If we dive a bit deeper into his psychology, we get to witness an ugly truth. Even though he acts all tough and mighty, he’s actually quite insecure and full of weaknesses. His childhood tragedy of isolation hasn’t made him into a stronger person. If anything, he’s even weaker and craves a connection with people more than anything.

The problem is that he just doesn’t trust anyone. To him, Hina seemed like a person he could actually trust. As a person who had been deprived of attention his entire life, he ended up becoming obsessed with her. I guess someone, as twisted as him, isn’t capable of love. He can fall into an obsession in the end. This doesn’t make him a “good guy”, but he sure is an interesting character.

Plot

Kisaki serves the key role of being the main antagonist of the anime Tokyo revengers. He is ambitious, cunning, and willing to sacrifice anyone for his gain. For this reason, he isn’t really loved as a villain. However, he’s acknowledged as one of the most interesting characters by all kinds of viewers.

One of the things that makes him special is his intelligence. Even though he is against Takemichi, who can time travel, Kisaki still manages to fool him a time or two. That alone is enough proof that he’s a man not to be reckoned with. If that’s not enough proof for you, then need I remind you he’s the leader of a huge gang as well?

There is no denying that Kisaki is one of the most interesting and mysterious characters this show has to offer. We’ll have to wait until more info about him and his plans are revealed. And make no mistake, we will get to witness him in action, even more, at least that’s the direction the manga is headed towards.

Conclusion

With that being said, that sums up nearly all the things you need to know about the guy! If you haven’t gotten into the show or just dropped it by accident, I can assure you, Kisaki alone is enough reason you should start watching.

That’s it for this blog, stay classy and cool, and I’ll see you guys in the next blog!
