Table of Content
Aquarius
Vanitas

Aquarius
Firstly, Our very own Protagonist, Vanitas, has shown to be one of the most intriguing mc in the anime world. His personality, according to the environment, changes around him. Well, you could say he is a peculiar guy, constantly having a smile on his face even though he is in deep trouble, taking nothing seriously. He comes across as naive in the first look.
But don’t let all that act fool you. All of this naivety flows away when things get serious. He is a brainy lad and is exceedingly good at reading people. On top of that, he has a flirtatious side to him, which adds even more charm to his character.
Aquarius are famous for their creativity and individuality, well in that sense the writer did create this character very accurately according to his sign.
Pisces
Chloé d'Apchier

Pisces
Generally, Chloe is a caring girl, but sometimes she becomes cold and selfish. Chloé has a jealous nature, as she admits, and would seek vengeance on anybody who harms her allies and friends. She enjoys being outside and strolling in the forest.
Even though she appears to be a 12-year-old on the surface, but don’t let the appearance fool you. She is over 300 years old. Because she has a lot of experience, she is sophisticated and intelligent, and she can break away from August Ruthven’s vampiric spell, which other vampires find untenable. Chloé is also skilled with machines.
Aries
Veronica De Sade

Aries
We have “Veronica De Sade.” She is the second oldest child of De Sade. She is one of the most powerful characters.
Veronica always tends to have profound misandry, despising males in principle, and frequently speaks about them with disdain. In terms of personality, Veronica appears to embrace torment, as she has a lot of torture gadgets in the De Sade Booth at the Machina Estate.
If you are a man, it’s better if you don’t come in front of her.
Taurus
Jeanne

Taurus
Jeanne, also known as “Hellfire witch,” is one of the most critical supportive characters in the series. She is a calm and loyal character, but she also gets mad at Vanitas for his childish acts.
She is proven to have a strong sense of responsibility and will go to any length to guarantee that her job gets done. Even under extreme strain, she remains cool and calculated.
But she loses her cool and is vulnerable to frenzied tantrums, particularly in the presence of Vanitas. However, later in the series, she develops feelings for Vanitas.
Gemini
Dominique de Sade

Gemini
Here comes the most coquettish character of this anime. Dominique has a very bold and pretentious personality. She only tries to protect her loved ones, i.e., Noe and Jeanne. Her elder siblings usually bully her, describe her as a failure, and mock her affection and love for Noe and Jeanne.
Sometimes, the discussion of romance irritates her. She gets humiliated when her siblings talk about adultery stuff.
Louis de Sade

Gemini
Louis de Sade is the most cynical and selfish character of this anime. He is insensitive towards the emotions of other people. Sometimes when he gets distressed by others’ suffering, he apologizes to them for hurting their feelings.
Despite his selfishness, Louis cared a lot for his sister and Noe. He isolated himself from the two after discovering that he is suffering from a fatal illness.
Cancer
The Teacher

Cancer
Up next, we have a teacher, although his real name and background are unknown. Still, a bird’s eye view of his character is shown in the series. He is shown to be highly intelligent, and also to be very generous, as he takes outstanding care of Noe and his grandchildren. All this care element to his character makes him one of the most lovable characters on the show.
He manages to keep his calm all the time, but he is shown to have hatred for August, to the point he wants to take August’s name out of every book in his castle
Leo
Dante

Leo
Here comes our “I don’t care that much” sort of character of the show. Dante does what all ordinary people should do whenever a dangerous situation arises, try not to involve themselves in that quarrel.
Yeah, I know it sounds like he’s a coward, but he cares for Vanitas to the point that he is jealous of Noe, as he thinks Vanitas would replace him for Noe.
Virgo
Johann

Virgo
Johann is a rip-off of Dante when it comes to selfishness. However, he is even more innovative than Dante. He can put on a mask on his face and pretend that he cares. Yeah, that makes him one of the most intelligent people on the show.
He is our very own rumor spread of our show, although he is cold at heart. He has shown to have some degree of care feelings for Dante and Riche. As whenever they are missing, he gets worried for them.
Libra
Noé Archiviste

Libra
Noe Archiviste is our most caring character on the set of “The Case Study of Vanitas Zodiac Signs.” His overall presence in the show adds an element of wholesomeness in the show.
The care part can be seen earlier in the series, as his concern for Amelia (a Stranger) is excellent.
The interaction between Vanitas and Noe is a fun one. Vanita’s childish personality does certainly induce rage in Noe. But well, it’s pretty cute, and it’s what these little things that give the show a definite structure.
Scorpio
Jean-Jacques Chastel

Scorpio
Jean Jacques is our “Secret Vampire” from the show. As a child, he was abused. He came across Chloe d’Apchier in the Silver Forest of Gévaudan, which was the moment he was going to protect her.
Jean-Jacques served as Chloé’s caregiver, cleaner, sewing person, cook, and also cared for her. Chloé was one of Jean-only Jacques’s childhood friends who recognized him as a vampire.
Sagittarius
Murr

Sagittarius
Here comes the cutest character on the show. Everybody seems to love cats. The same is with our Murr. The Murr is the cat that Noe owns. Although being his master, Murr has no respect for him. He looks all cute and cuddly with his heterochromatic eyes and jewelry on his neck.
Murr appears to be irritated by everyone and everything around him all of the time. He frequently ambushes people, and he even scratches Noé a lot because he feels annoyed by him all the time.
Capricorn
Astolfo Granatum

Capricorn
Astolfo Granatum is our average “I want to kill all” sort of character. He had a twisted childhood, as one day, he was unable to defeat a young vampire, which led to a series of unfortunate events. His whole family, Father, Mother, and Sister, died in front of his eyes.
From that onwards, his life only had one purpose, to kill all the vampires and cleanse the world. He has no morals. He’ll kill anyone he thinks is a vampire. He even mistook some real humans for vampires and killed them. However, he showed no remorse for his horrible action. He quickly loses his mind if someone says ill about his family. With that sort of attitude, he is also known as “The Chasseurs’ Problem Child.”
Conclusion
