Hello everyone! We’re back again with another watch order and this time, it’s Yu-Gi-Oh! It was definitely one of the OG anime back then and kids and adults loved it equally. If you haven’t heard of it, we got you! It is dedicated to games and has a very unique concept. We’ll talk more about it later and let you know about the right order to watch it as well. So, let’s get right into it!

Yuugi Mutou is a fragile high school boy who has always been an easy target for bullies. Anzu Mazaki is the childhood friend of Yuugi who always stands up for him whenever he’s getting bullied. However, she can’t be there for him forever. Yuugi needs a friend who will never betray him and always be by his side.

Yuugi has an ancient Egyptian Artifact, a Millenium Puzzle that his grandfather had in his game shop. He thought that if he solves the puzzle, he will have his wish granted. When he’s done solving the puzzle, he unleashes a new personality, “The King of Games”.

Yuugi is now very different from how he used to be and goes by the name of Yami Yuugi. Now, whoever tries to bully Yuugi, takes him to his world of “Shadow Games”. Whoever loses, will be swallowed by the darkness within his heart. Will Yuugi really take revenge against his bullies?

Yuugi Muto used to get bullied everyday in school, until one day, he was able to solve the ancient Egyptian puzzle in the Game Shop of his grandfather. No one was able to solve the puzzle for about two hundred years. 

Yuugi is able to transform into a completely different person after solving the puzzle. Whenever Yuugi and his friends are in danger, Yuugi transforms into Yami Yuugi and challenges his opponents to a game battle. The one who loses faces extreme pain and dies eventually. However, is it really happening or is it just inside their minds?

He faces defeat again and again, until one day, he takes out a Red Eyes Black Dragon from his booster pack. Shyoga now considers himself undefeatable and avoids all battles. However, he has no choice but to fight against Kaiba Seto with Yuugi Muto on his side.

Will he be able to defeat Kaiba Seto who has three Blue Eyes White Dragons? Will he really lose his precious card because of his reluctance? Will he claim the position of the number one Duelist in the world of Duel Monsters?

Yuugi and his friends visit the museum where Anubis and the Pyramid of Light are. Anubis wakes up and tries to attack them. Kaiba is being controlled by Anubis and he forces Yuugi into a duel. However, Anubis’ plans fail and he himself fights Yuugi. Will Yuugi be able to stop Anubis from causing destruction? Will he be able to send Anubis back to where he belongs?

It’s been two years since Yuusei’s D-wheel had been stolen by Jack Atlas. He’s done with making his new D-Wheel. On the other hand, Jack Atlas had become a very overpowered duelist. Yuusei is all ready to search for Jack Atlas and bring him down. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes and Yuusei must get ready for the worst.

The story opens in the near future where humans have gone extinct. Paradox is on a mission to save Earth from this destruction by travelling to the future. Paradox is able to assemble three of the greatest duelists of all time, Yuugi Muto, Juudai Yuuki, and Yuusei Fuudo. They must take part in a tag-team duel to destroy the source of chaos happening all around. Will the three of them, despite their differences, be able to defeat their foe, Paradox?

Ryuga Kamishiro, a school bully, splits a key given to Yuuma by his father in half and that’s when Yuuma decides to fight him. Yuuma is a very weak duelist who doesn’t stand a chance against Ryuga. Something strange happens and Yuuma’s key gets repaired.

A strange door appears before Yuuma and he’s the only one who’s able to see it. He uses the key to open the door and an alien appears before him, coming out from the door. Yuuma’s memories are scattered in 100 Number Cards. He must look for his memories and with the help of the alien, he must save Heartland city from the unknown dangers.

The world of Duel Monsters is evolving yet again. There is a development of a network called the Link Vrains. The summoning mechanic has also been evolved and there’s a phenomenon called Link Summoning. There’s an incorporation of Virtual Reality and duelers can create their own avatars

The virtual world is just like the real world with wars and conflicts. Years ago, the Knights of Hanoi who were some hacker organization tried to attack the artificial intelligence program known as Cyberse. However, they failed as one of their targets hid the Cyberse somewhere in the network.

5 years after that incident, a high school student named Yuusaka Fujiki comes across a strange program and decides to join forces with it along with his friend, Shoichi Kusanagi. Yuusaki ends up getting involved with the Knights of Hanoi as he wanted to unveil the truth behind the events that happened 5 years ago.

The world of Duel Monsters is constantly evolving and has endless possibilities. The modern-day duels have become really complex. Yuuga Oudou is an elementary school student who loves inventing and experimenting with the Duel Monsters. He finds the regular way of duelling quite boring and wants to evolve it. 

He invented Rush Duels which was a new way of duelling. His brand new invention soon caught the eye of Tatsuhisa Kamijou who was a fellow elementary school student. The only goal of Yuuga is to make the duels less boring and more exciting. Will he be able to face the challenges waiting for him in his newly invented Rush Duels?

  1. Hello, first of all than you for making this list,as I read it though I noticed you didn’t mention anywhere about YGO Arc-V.I wanna watch where I left off and the last generation I watched was arc-v, was it non canon ? Thanks again!
