Set in a futuristic world, magic is used to only exist in fairy tales. However, magic is now a systemized technology utilized and taught as a technical skill. Here comes the First High School. A school that separates its students based on their scores in the entrance exams. Students who have high scores are called “Blossoms”, whereas students who receive low scores are called “Weeds”. The Shiba siblings, Tatsuya and Miyuki, enrolled in this school. Miyuki, the sister, receives high scores and goes to the First Course. Meanwhile, Tatsuya goes to Second Course as a weed because of his lack of magic even though his practical, technical, and combat skills are excellent. Since Tatsuya has a unique way of utilizing his magic techniques, this makes him the Irregular at Magic High School.
2. The Irregular at Magic High School Visitor Arc (2020)
Angie Sirius is a commander from the unit of elite magicians. They were dispatched from the United States of the North American Continent (USNA) in order to reveal the identity of such a terrifying strategic class magician. Meanwhile, in First High School, Tatsuya and his friends are at a farewell party for their friend, Shizuku Kitayama, who will leave to study abroad.
Tatsuya is informed about the USNA’s current mission for this magician. Reports are spreading about the bodies with drained blood around Tokyo. Tatsuya realizes that this is too much of a coincidence and plans to uncover the truth behind these deaths.

The siblings, Tatsuya and Miyuki, are on their spring break after finishing their first year. As they enjoy their spring break on a villa in Ogasawara Island, they found a girl named Kokoa, an escapee from an experimental lab found at the Naval base nearby, Tatsuya’s group then decided to save her and the other victims of the ruthless CAD experiments. But on the other hand, the USNA has different plans for the base.

Get to Know Magic Studies is just a 6 episode short of a quick introduction to the characters in their chibi form. The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc (2021)
The latest installment of the series, Reminiscence Arc is about the relationship of Tatsuya and Miyuki being loving siblings. Three years ago, Miyuki used to always be uncomfortable being around her older brother. He used to be treated like a lowly servant from the family despite his excellence as a guardian. Despite the treatment Tatsuya gets from them, Miyuki is weirded out by his lack of emotion or thoughts of his own. But their relationship changed forever after a single incident during their trip to Okinawa.

The Honor Student at Magic High School (2021)
This spinoff is basically the retelling of the seasons but everything is in Miyuki’s perspective. Though this is entirely optional, you can still watch this if you are not getting enough from their characters, especially Miyuki.

Shiba Tatsuya
Just like any other MC, Shiba Tatsuya is strong-willed, cool, and brave. He’s a self-assured guy who doesn’t seek the assurances of other people. He believes in himself more than anything. Shiba Tatsuya has many strong abilities including CAD name Third Eye which allows him to hit things from far away. Shiba Tatsuya also has a Silver Series Silver Horn which targets mostly the nerves and blood vessels of his opponents. Sounds intense, right?
If we talk about his background, he’s the eldest sibling and belongs to the family of Shiba Tatsuro. He also has a younger sibling named Miyuki. Since they both are in the same year, people misunderstand both of them for being twins. Let’s talk a bit about his appearance now. Shiba is quite athletic and has a sturdy body as well. It’s not easy to defeat giant guys right? So, he’s one of those sturdy guys!
Miyuki Shiba
Miyuki Shiba is the younger sister of Shiba Tatsuya. She’s a sweet, friendly, and a beautiful girl. She’s quite popular due to her well up-bringing and friendly personality. Honestly, who wouldn’t want to get along with a pretty girl with good manners and personality? Miyuki tends to put others’ needs before her. However, sometimes she teases others for fun and that’s the basic trait of a younger sister, right? Aside from all that, she’s very smart and is literally the top student! Saegusa Mayumi
Saegusa Mayumi is one of the first person to talk with Shiba Tatsuya. She’s the fromer president of Student Council. She’s a young lady who’s known for her charismatic and dazzling beauty. Saegusa Mayumi is also very popular at her school considering how she became the president of student council. It isn’t easy to become the president of that council, right? We have seen other anime characters trying their best to become the president of the council. Anyways, she’s smart, pretty, cute, and whatnot! She’s literally all-in-one. Isn’t that right?
