As of the 13th day of May 2022, 9 manga volumes and 5 anime episodes have been released. Well, its popularity says a lot about how highly recommended this anime and manga is. Soooo, for this blog, Ill tell you the order of the available episodes you should read!

Well, this is a show for all ages that is worth your time! It’s a fun and hilarious family comedy that took the internet by storm. If you haven’t watched it yet, then we got you covered in the watch order. We also have a manga read order for fans who want to continue where the series left off in the first part!

Without further ado, this is the read order for Spy x Family.

HOW TO WATCH AND READ SPY X FAMILY IN ORDER?

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPY X FAMILY MANGA AND ANIME SERIES

The process of adapting light novels or manga to become an anime series is a tough one. The people responsible for such adaptations have a lot of considerations to make, such as whether or not the supplementary narratives and quests are important to the overall narrative.

The popular manga title Spy x Family was adapted into an anime that started running in April 2022. The series has been a smash with fans. There are several key distinctions between the manga and anime adaptations of this series, despite the fact that there havent been too many episodes made available so far.

The first noticeable difference is the way Loid Forger became famous due to his profound thought and inner monologues that he engages in. As he is too focused on his tasks throughout the anime, our protagonist engages in a great deal of internal dialogue. On the other hand, his explanations and opinions take up a far larger portion of the mangas pages.

Spy x Family Anime Series Watch Order

Lets begin with this anime series watch order. A lot of us prefer anime series over manga, thats why I’ve decided to show you the watch order first. In this watch order, we will be talking about the anime series entitled Spy x Family.

Given that this anime is still on-going, I can not give you the entire watch order yet. But for this time, I’ll be giving you the order of the episodes that you can watch as of May 13, 2022.

Spy x Family Episodes (as of 2022)

Episode 1: Operation Strix

Western Intelligence (WISE) sends Twilight to Ostania to build a family and become closer to Donovan Desmond, National Unity Partys head. To do so, he must enroll his kid at Eden Academy, in which he can approach Donovan securely. Twilight adopts a little girl called Anya who has hidden telepathic talents and utilizes her gift to learn Loid’s actual employment.

Anya is abducted by Edgar’s thugs after sending a signal to his minister in Ostania. Loid disguises himself among Edgar’s men to save Anya and blackmail Edgar to keep him off the business. Just after trauma, Anya persuades Loid to retain her after he attempts to send her away to protect her. After Anya takes the Eden Academy entrance test, they are notified that step two is a proper interview with both parents.

Episode 2: Secure a Wife

Coworkers ostracize Yor Briar, 27-year-old, a clerk at Berlint City Hall, for being unmarried, leading to accusations she is a spy. She serves as an assassin dubbed first as Thorn Princess to support herself as well as her brother, Yuri. Loid meets Yor by chance at a clothes shop then agrees to start a collaboration out from convenience owing to Anya. However, a side task forces Loid to be late to a party with Yor.

Due to his afflictions, Loid unintentionally claims to be Yor’s spouse, and they depart together. Because they’re being pursued by his last missions pursuers, Yor asks Loid whether their faked marriage may be more than for the next interview. Episode 3: Prepare for the Interview

They go to an opera, an art museum, purchase new clothes, take family photographs, and attend a political demonstration. However, Anyas telepathy causes her terrible agony when shes around big numbers of people. Yor observes Loids worry and brings the fam to something like a park to rest.

Episode 4: The Prestigious School’s Interview

The Forgers descend at Eden Academy. He discovers the school staff is discreetly watching and vetting the participating families. No family that does not meet Hendersons elegance requirement is eligible. Loid knows this and can guide Anya and Yor to graceful behavior. In a flash, the farm animals of school escape and begin swarming, however the Forgers halt them in their tracks.

Episode 5: Will They Pass or Fail

The Forgers find out that Anya got denied from Eden Academy, however Henderson assures them that she will be the first person on the waiting list since she scored the highest on the test. Three days have passed, and Anya gets admitted to Eden Academy. Louds informant as well as Franky join them to celebrate, and both become drunk. Anya asks Loid to recreate a scenario from her favorite Spy Wars cartoon when Bondman saves a princess from a castle.

A bad start from Anya after landing into a demerit after punching Desmond’s son. Anya apologizes to his father, Loid tells her to apologize to Desmond as well. Episode 7 focuses on Anya’s goal to ask for forgiveness from Desmond in order to get one step closer to the Friendship Scheme Misson.

Episode 8: The Counter-Secret Police Counter

The anime starts with Anya’s hilarious epic fail of answering the right question. The main plot of this chapter is the first encounter between Yor’s little brother and Loid. Will he be a danger to the secrets of the family, given that Yuri is a secret Police who is aware of Twilight’s presence?

Episode 9: Show Off How In Love You Are

This is the episode that you should watch! Will Loid and Yor kiss? Pressured by Yuri who is not convinced of the marriage of the two, the little brother asked Loid and Yor to do it in front of him in order to prove that they are a real-deal married couple.

Episode 10: The Great Dodgeball Plan

It’s time for a fun dodgeball episode in spy x family. Anya, Becky, and Damian faced off against Bill Watkins, a weird brawny character who feels like a cheat as if he exists in real life. You will be caught a wholesome moment from Anya and Damian in this chapter!

Episode 11: Stella

The beginning of the episode shows Anya watching Bondman while Loid scans his failed test exam. Loid thought of ways on how Anya can get STELLA stars. Can Anya get one before the first season ends? Well, you have to find out.

Episode 12: Penguin Park

The last episode was a bit lackluster but it is still enjoyable. The Forger Family’s neighbor notices Loid’s absence and speculates that he is cheating on his wife. This led to Loid finding a way to be wholesome in the eyes of their neighbor.

SPY X FAMILY 2

This is the continuation of the first season. Let us explore more about the forger Family, a fake family formed by members with secrets between them. Now with the addition of Bond, what chaos and laughter will he add to the already chaotic and funny family?

This is the second part of the anime, the fun never ends as we get to see Loid, Yor, and Anya along with their newest member Bond Forger.

Spy x Family Read Order

Most of us love watching anime, but reading the entire manga is a different type of love-so close to being unconditional, I think. Looking at how this anime starts, we can clearly see some guides relative to the manga on how this anime continues.

For this case, Spy x Family is still on its 9th volume. Simply, it is still on-going since March of 2019. But for this part of this blog, Im gonna tell you about the list of the available chapters.

Spy X Family, Vol. 1 (Chapters 1-5)

Twilight and Nightfall attend a tennis tournament to find a counterintelligence document that might send the planet to war! But would Nightfalls hidden infatuation for Twilight jeopardize their mission?!

Twilight interrupts Donovan Desmonds rare tender moment alongside his child Damian to encounter his target for the first time. Do you think Twilight can win over the mysterious Donovan?

Garden assigns Yor to be a bodyguard aboard a cruise ship for a crime family. But with Anya and Lloyd on board owing to a giveaway, Yor is beginning to reconsider her assassin career.

Even though the missions keep getting in the way of their family time, we eventually get a decent look into Twilights past, and its heartbreaking to see what else he must go through even at an early age.

Anya is one step closer to becoming best friends with Damian however the threat of expulsion increases as Anya receives another Tortinuas Bolt.

Final Notes

Both the manga and anime series of Spy X Family are still ongoing. In this case, I can not even give you the best watch order for this one YET. But I am sure, this is among the most reliable watch and read orders you can find on the internet.
