PLOT
The plot of this anime is really easy to understand. The story revolves around Reki who fell in love with skating but isn’t really good at it. In his class, a transfer student came all the way from Canada who’s a great skater. Together, we get to see the both of them skate. After seeing their friendship, you will question yourself “who’s my friend?” or “why don’t I have friends like them?”. So, be prepared!
Let’s take a deeper look at the story of this anime. So, Sk8 The Infinity also has some real dangerous yet cool characters like Adam. Adam is a pro skater who might as well endanger the life of his competitor. So, it won’t be wrong to say that he will endanger your life while skating. I remember when I saw his match with Reki, that intensity was insane! Like, Reki was about to get his face scratched on the road since Adam was attacking and approaching him.
Then, we have a very straight character named Joe who is always surrounded by girls. It won’t be wrong to say that he’s very flirtatious and is a gentleman as well. Only women of culture like men like him. His flirting skills are on the next level. So, if you want to be an amazing flirter, you should definitely befriend Joe. He’s a huge muscular guy who’s also amazing at skating.
Joe has a friend who has been there by his side for a long time and his name is Cherry. First of all, Cherry is a guy, he isn’t a girl. He might look like a girl but when his gaze changes, it’s over for everyone! I’m not even kidding. Anyways, he’s also one of the best skaters in the anime who has played a vital role in various skating competitions. He might stop others from skating against Adam since he’s an open threat to everyone. On the other hand, he gets motivated to skate against Adam by himself.
Langa is our boy with some real decent skating skills. He used to ice-skate in Canada. After coming back to Japan, he made an awesome friend who loves skating, aka Reki. Both of them started hanging out when they learned that they have mutual interests. Langa taught him some skating tricks. But guess what?
Langa became overly popular among other skaters which is why Reki felt left out sometimes. This whole situation made Reki worried and he started shouting at Langa. But guess what again!? Langa made him feel safe and hugged him so that he knows that he’s cared for.
Moving on, there was a skating competition in which most of the skaters were defeated by Adam. However, Langa never gave up. Since he has been skating for a long time in his childhood, he decided to go all-in. In fact, he ended up defeating Adam. Now, we have another hidden character in the anime who didn’t get much screen-time. He is very powerful and can skate smoothly. Guess who I am talking about? Well it is none other than Adam’s secretary, aka Tadashi Kikuchi.
Tadashi Kikuchi has been with Adam ever since he was a child. Adam didn’t really have loving parents. He was forced to do things he didn’t want to do. One day, he saw Tadashi Kikuchi playing with a skateboard. That intrigued Adam big time, so he decided to go to him and learn more about skating. Just like that, both of them became friends and their bond is stronger than anyone had in the anime. So, he’s the hidden overpowered skater. Let’s see if we get another season of Sk8 The Infinity and let’s see if Tadashi Kikuchi gets more screen time.
