1. The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 1
Anime Storyline:
Starting off as a happy and basic slice of life anime, our MC Satoru Mikami meets his fellow’s girlfriend and ends up getting stabbed. Well, that went dark real quick, didn’t it? Satoru Mikami is an office worker whose life is super boring, and every single day is the same for him. But one day, everything changed for him!
So, while he was walking down the road he met his fellow office worker and his girlfriend. Who knew he’d be super surprised by the fact that his fellow got a girl that he gets stabbed. Anyways, that’s how he gets ISEKAI’d. Opening his eyes in a cave without realizing that he has now turned into a slimy slime, Satoru Mikami was totally baffled. While this slime was exploring the cave and possessing different skills, he came across a dragon named Veldora. It decides to befriend the dragon. Not so wise, eh?
He pairs up with Toshio to save their village Sotoba from turning into a village full of vampires. But in a world where good can’t be easily distinguished from evil, will they be able to do it or will they succumb to the darkness?
I’d say it was a nice decision as Satoru had no idea that he was turned into a slime until he looked in the mirror. The slime was totally attackable so it did need a powerful dragon by its side. Well, that’s how the story proceeds and the slime meets goblins who apparently respect Rimuru a lot. Who’s Rimuru?
Rimuru is the slime form of Satoru Mikami. Satoru after being reincarnated got an interesting life where he could beat people and even kill Goblins’ leader! Can you guys believe in beating someone while you’re just a slimy slime? WOAH! Moving on, Rimuru Tempest learns a bit more about himself and goes through various adventures as well.
There are a total of 24 episodes of season 1 of Reincarnated As A Slime. If you guys haven’t watched this amazing isekai, fantasy anime, you’re missing out on a lot.
2. The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: Tales - Veldora’s Journal 1
Anime Storyline:
Veldora’s Journal 1 is an extra episode that recaps the whole season while Veldora plays Shogi and Ifrit is absorbed inside Rimuru. Ifrit is a greater spirit and is the ruler of flames. Rimuru says that he underestimated Ifrit while Ifrit says the same thing. While Rimuru was saying that, he decided to swallow him. Veldora is also with Rimuru and introduces himself to the flame ruler while saying that he was the one who asked Rimuru to come here and serve as Ifrit’s opponent until he was bored.
They play Shogi and Veldora sits in a very confused manner while Ifrit is terrified. As the two of them play, Veldora explains his life story to them. He says that 300 years ago, a mischievous Veldora moved through the city violently and forced a hero to come. When the hero let his guard down, he was trapped in Unlimited Imprisonment. Ifrit feels a bit sorry for Veldora which caused him to fly off into a tsundere rant.
Then, Veldora tells the story of how he met Rimuru and what had happened. He said that when Rimuru was trying to talk to him by practicing speaking, he was scared that he would scare off Rimuru. After talking to one another, the two of them hit off quite nicely and Rimuru asked to eat Veldora and break the infinite imprisonment.
On the other hand, Ifrit starts telling his life story. As a worshipper of Demon Lord Leon, he was bound to a girl named Shizue to protect her. Ifrit slowly senses that Shizue’s passing away while Veldora is so sure that Rimuru is gonna answer her final wishes. Slowly, Rimuru realizes that he can also take the form of humans. Even after a few months, Veldora is still playing shogi. Moving through the journey, Rimuru realizes that his friends/subordinates have increased drastically in number.

The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: OAD 1
Storyline:
OAD stands for “Original Animation DVD”. So, it’s basically the continuation of the last episode and in this OAD, Rimuru teaches the villagers Sumo-wrestling. Rimuru has an interesting skill-set. He almost has every type of power necessary to knock out his opponents which explains him being overpowered, right?
The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: OAD 2
Storyline:
Rimuru meets Shion and Shuna, he’s literally sick of them. Shuna is one of the third subordinate monsters to be named by Rimuru. She used to be an Ogre. Yep, that’s shocking… She was the princess of the Ogre Tribe. WHEW! Shion on the other hand is a pathetic cook. However, she’s Rimuru’s number one secretary and a bodyguard. So, all our poor guy, Rimuru, wanted was some space. So, he decides to change himself into a cushion and leads everyone to collect some sand.
As the story proceeds, a monster appears out of nowhere! That monster was driven insane by the rice ball Shion had cooked. Its slime dissolves everyone’s swimsuits until the real slime king appears. *MWAHAHA* Rimuru decides to fix everything.
The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: OAD 3
Storyline:
Rimuru teaches Shizu’s students as a substitute. Is there anything Rimuru can’t do? Like, come on! He takes part in an orientation at the Kingdom of Ingrassia’s Freedom Academy. Rimuru is open to any challenges and he decides to accept the challenge from his teacher, Jeff. Will Rimuru be able to complete it or will he lose the challenge? The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: OAD 4
Storyline:
Rimuru is a teacher at Freedom Academy in the same kingdom, The Kingdom of Ingrassia. He’s also involved in many outdoor training events. The outdoor training event has an interesting training plan. It is to protect the teachers on their journey to a nearby town. WOW! All the students are eager to show the result of their everyday training.
The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: OAD 5
Storyline:
This is the last OAD of The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime. Rimuru along with S Class Students have made it through the first exercise of the outdoor training event. S Class is the first one to arrive at the destination and now they’re ready for the second round. However, there are some kidnappers that wish to kidnap the students and make a good fortune out of it. At that moment, the training of Rimuru’s students pays off and they realize that the monster is lurking somewhere around the thieves.
3. Digression: Hinata Sakaguchi
Storyline:
It is a special episode that introduces a new character named Hinata Sakaguchi along with a summary of the first season. So, who is Hinata Sakaguchi? She is the Chief Knight of Holy Empire Ruberios and Captain of the Western Holy Church.
Hinata Sakaguchi receives a letter from an eastern merchant. She reads about Monsters’ Kingdom and the Jura Tempest Federation along with its shocking facts. 4. The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime 2
Storyline:
There are two parts of The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2. The first part premiered on January 12, 2021, while the second part premiered in July 2021. A special episode was announced to be premiered on January 05, 2021, that will tell us about all the previous events that occurred in the world of Slime! WOOH, so that’s like a life hack, you can simply watch that episode and start season 2.
So, the second season gives us the festive vibes of Nation of Tempest. It tells us all about the aftermath of the attack of the Blumund Army and the Western Holy Church. Beyond the festivities, the meeting of the Nation of Tempest lies. The meeting was held to decide the future of the Nation of Monsters. The aftermath of the attacks, Milim Nava’s suspicious behavior, and the disappearance of Lord Carrion – these problems seemed to keep piling up.
Rimuru Tempest decides to go on the offensive all against Clayman after being awakened as a “True Demon Lord”. With his newly revived skills, Rimuru is confident in his skills and fighting against Clayman. It’s one of the sickest fights!
5. The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: Tales - Veldora’s Journal 2
Storyline:
Veldora’s Journal 2 is a special episode that summarizes the first half of the second season. Veldora has been seeing all the events happening from Rimuru’s stomach. Events like Rimuru’s evolution to Demon Lord, the chance of meeting with Hinata, and the Kingdom of Falmuth’s attack.
It has been two years since Veldora and Rimuru have met and the promise they made back then, is about to be fulfilled. Veldora and Ifrit look back at what happened and how they have come so far. They sometimes even have cold chills due to fear.
