This week marks the last week before the finals. When Nino begins bickering about Miku and then refuses to participate in the mock exams, the session takes a turn for the worst.
Miku and Itsuki both speak in defense of Futaro’s laborious efforts and beg Nino to cooperate with them. Nino treats Futaro’s labor with disgust and throws the papers he’s working on onto the ground. Itsuki reacts angrily by slapping her as a form of retribution. Nino, who is now much more irritated, smacks Itsuki in response and begs her to leave the apartment, which she and Itsuki eventually do on the same night.

Type: TV
Episodes: 12
Synopsis:
Because of the cold that he had during the school camping trip, Futaro ends up in the hospital. The visit from the doctor brings up some recollections of a girl whom Futaro had met on his trip to Kyoto 6 years ago. Itsuki, one of the quintuplets, pays him a visit and presents him with a lucky charm that is an exact replica of the one that the girl in his recollections had purchased in Kyoto.
After already being discharged from hospital, Futaro visits the quintuplets’ residence, where he is greeted by one of the children who has just stepped out of the shower. Futaro, who was unable to identify her and the zero-points tests that she hurled at him during the spur of the game, challenged himself to distinguish five siblings with similar haircuts but failed miserably at the task.
Itsuki wonders if Futaro has been attempting to discover out the individuality of a girl from his old days, but Futaro dismissed the thought that she is one of the quintuplets, stating that the girl would not have grown up to be a really poor student within a week of pledging to study and work hard. Futaro’s actions cause Itsuki to wonder if Futaro is even trying to find the identity of the girl from his past.
Characters
Futaro Uesugi
Futarou is a very smart high school student who doesn’t have any friends. He continues to live with his father and sister in a tiny apartment. He’s serious as well as dedicated to supporting the Nakano sisters to increase their performance, but because he is greedy and self-centered, he often gets into fights with other people. He likes the food Raiha makes, but he doesn’t like raw fish. One of his favorite drinks seems to be barley tea, and his favorite animals were also gorillas. Every day, he puts one coin away.
In his student handbook, he keeps a picture of a girl who inspired him to study. He met her in Kyoto when he was in the sixth grade. She turns out to be one of the five Nakano Quintuplets. He used to be a hot-tempered kid who pulled pranks to get some other kids’ attention.
After meeting one of the Quintuplets, he chose to change and focus on his studies because then he could have been someone special (Raiha) would “need.” This way of thinking made him think that interactions have to be the worst thing that can happen to a high school student because it would take his attention away from developing a career.
Nakano Quintuplet sisters
They are visually indistinguishable from one another; they all have enormous blue eyes, hair that is light reddish in color, adorable expressive features, and shapely proportions. They are quite good at mimicking one another, despite the fact that they each have very different hairdos..
They do this often for the sake of pranks and/or convenience. They believe themselves to be five parts with one whole and were born on the 5th day of May. They reside together in such a luxurious high-rise apartment as well as adhere to the “go-toubun” ideology, which was passed down to them by their late mother. “Go-toubun” means “five sections, split evenly.” Despite the fact that they all have bad marks and little motivation to study, all of them are nevertheless able to be respectable and appreciate the effort that Futaro’s putting in to helping them.
