Konosuba is a well-known anime series known for its adventure and comedic themes. It is regarded as one of the most effective stress-relieving anime. Season 1 of Konosuba has only 10 episodes, whereas Season 2 has the same number of episodes.

Konosuba Series Release Order
Konosuba has a total of 2 seasons. The first season was released in 2016 and immediately after the conclusion of season 1, we got the second season in 2017.
Even after two seasons, Konosuba fans were unhappy and demanded another season, which is yet to be produced.
According to rumors (and by rumors, I mean my friend), season 3 is expected to be released in 2022. Now let me give you a short summary of each season.
Konosuba Season 1 (2016)
Let me warn you before we jump into Konosuba’s season 1 plot. This anime is so good that once you start watching it, you’ll forget about your worries. This anime tells the story of Kazuma Satou and how his life ended due to a tragic accident.
However, as he’s the show’s MC, how can he die? Kazuma’s new journey and the adventure began when he was granted a second opportunity to live his life by a goddess of water named Aqua.
Kazuma’s life altered dramatically when he opted to stay with Goddess in his new life. He was excited because he was now living in a game world that he used to play, but the day he started living in this world, he began to have regrets.
Not only that, but they require money to spend and enjoy their lives. Rather than starting their new exciting adventure, the pair must first work to meet their living expenses and yeah, it is just the beginning of their problems.
Konosuba Season 2 (2017)
As we all know how Kazuma’s life was dramatically changed when he was reincarnated into a different world. We watched him get involved in a lot of conflicts and issues in the previous season, and his condition hasn’t altered much for season 2.
He selected Aqua due to her immense talents before being reincarnated into this world, but when he was reborn in the new world, he was shattered into pieces after realizing that Aqua is entirely worthless and cannot use her powers.
In season 2, he is accused of subversion against the state, and as a result, he is currently on trial (I feel sorry for the poor man because all he faces is trouble).
Konosuba Season 2 follows Kazuma and his crazy friends on several more adventures and trust me, those adventures were crazier than the previous ones. Things, however, never turned out in their favor (This man can’t just get a dub).
The animation and plot of Konosuba season 2 are just outstanding. Throughout the season, there are hilarious jokes that will make you laugh so hard.
Konosuba Series Movies' Release Order
When the first season of Konosuba was released, it earned a lot of affection from fans all around the world and after the conclusion of both Konosuba seasons, 1 and 2 fans were lucky enough to get a Konosuba movie named, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson
This film was released on August 30, 2019, and what a fantastic film it was. Let’s talk about the movie’s plot in detail. But before starting let me give you a surprise: this movie is 1 hour and 20 minutes long and does not include fillers, so you should not skip it.

The Konsuba film was an adaptation to Chapter 5 of Konosuba’s light novel. The plot begins after the conclusion of Season 2 (don’t worry, I’m not going to spoil what happened at the end of Season 2).
Everyone’s favorite Megumin has returned in this film, and fans are overjoyed (including me as I am a huge Megumin fan). Not only that but there are several actions and comic situations throughout the film.
Megumin receives a letter from a demon one day. That letter was more than simply a letter; it was a warning, in which it was stated quite clearly that her village will be destroyed. But as she goes back to help her people, she realizes it was all a prank.
Kazuma and the others decide to visit Megumin’s birthplace and experience the beauties it has to offer but the moment they sit on another journey, they notice that the letter was not just a prank and from here, their problematic journey once again begins.
Konosuba OVAs Release Order
Konosuba also gave us two OVAs, both of which were released in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Consider yourself lucky since we will also be reviewing Konosuba OVAs today. Let me give you a fantastic quick synopsis of Konosuba’s OVAs.
Kono Subarashii Sekai Ni Shukufuku Wo: Kono Subarashii Choker Ni Shukufuku Wo! (2016)
Kazuma visits Wiz’s magic shop and discovers a magical necklace that grants the user one desire. Kazuma, being Kazuma, decides to put it on, only to learn from Wiz that he now has only four days to live.
This is wayyy too funny man, wherever Kazuma goes and whatever he touches turns into trouble for him. What will our poor hopeless MC do now?
Konosuba: God’s Blessing On This Wonderful World! 2: God’s Blessing On This Wonderful Art! (2017)
Consider this: your fan has come to meet you and you have received a new challenge from someone else at the same moment. What will you do in such a situation? You’re probably going to accept the challenge to look cool in front of your fan, right?
That’s exactly what our MC, Kazuma, did when a fan approached him and he was challenged by someone else. He only accepted his challenge, but when he found out what the challenge was, he wished he was already dead.
You are probably wondering what the challenge was right? It was a 1v1 fight challenge with a giant metal golem. Well, I only have one thing to say and that is RIP Kazuma.
