PLOT
Ryuko Matoi is the main character who has got special scissors that can cut an armed uniform aka Goku Uniform. Imagine you had scissors so overpowered that you are able to cut iron! Isn’t that sick? Well, the MC is living our dreams. So this girl transfers to Honno City with only one goal in her mind which is nothing more than to find her dad’s killer. She has a suspicion about Satsuki whom she believes is connected with this incident. So, let’s see how things go for her in this new city.
On her very first day, this girl took a big step at challenging Satsuki. She failed badly. Moving on to her failure, she came across a living sailor uniform under his father’s complex. Deciding to call the outfit Senketsu, she found out that he (outfit) is a Kamui aka “God’s Robe”. This outfit increases her abilities when it’s worn. Now, after that, she decides to challenge Satsuki who takes out her own Kamui known as Junketsu.
Ryuko was warned that if she defeats her, she’s going to get prominent and will be the target of higher students. Her hyper classmate named Mako Mankanshoku follows her to the battle with whom she moved in.
Moving on, Ryuko stalks Satsuki and confronts her again when she was organizing the student council with the help of the battle royal and king of the hill events. These events are also known as Natural Elections. It requires Ryuko to defeat all the 4 well-known elite members of the student council. There always has to be the scary-looking student council who are portrayed as overpowered characters. Isn’t that right? However, this event is disturbed by Nui Harime belonging to the REVOCS Corporation.
Harime decides to expose herself by saying that she’s the one who killed Isshin by taking out her scissor blade. This enraged Ryuko to the extent of killing her. Like, there was even an unstable fusion between Ryuko and her Senketsu. Mako disturbs this scenario which defuses Ryuko’s rage.
After this incident, Ryuko doesn’t feel like wearing Senketsu. On the other hand, Harime gets banned from school and she also pulls a trick on Ryuko that ends up in her wearing the Senketsu. That’s pretty evil, right? Harime had a goal in her mind which was nothing more than to kill Ryuko. Satsuki steps in and cancels the effect.
Since Ryuko’s Senketsu pieces were torn apart, she tries to fix them but even after fixing the Senketsu, she still can’t stop Satsuki. A lot more events are about to happen in this anime, and much more action is yet to come. If you guys enjoyed the plot, I’m sure you’re going to love watching Kill La Kill. MAIN CHARACTERS
Ryuko Matoi
Ryuko Matoi, with nothing else to lose than her own life, decides to go all-in when it comes to avenging her father’s death. It left her all by herself and that explains why her personality is so simple and hot headed at the same time. Isn’t that right? Growing up without a father made her quite tough and that’s true but some part of her feels lonely. With the right people, we can see her being calm and composed. But when it comes to clever liars, she will make sure to kick them in their guts.
She’s a lean and average-heightened girl with black hair. She has gear-like pupils inside her deep blue eyes. It makes her look really unique. At the very start of the anime, we see her wearing a plain white shirt with a ribbon and a black miniskirt. However, when she finds Senketsu, her plain clothes are replaced by it. So, it makes her look much more badass.
Satsuki Kiryuin
Even though this character served as a villain for half the time in anime, she has an anti–hero motive. She’s seen as a tall and slim woman with dark blue hair. We all love a tall lady with some bangs, don’t we? So, if you fall for her while watching this anime, congratulations you’re a man of culture. When it comes to brains with beauty, Satsuki should always be included in the list. She’s extremely smart and pure as well.
Senketsu
Sanketsu is the living Kamui. This Kamui has been with Ryuko for a long time since it was found underground in her father’s complex. It’s used for increasing Ryuko’s abilities. It’s very useful and smart. Definitely something our enraged MC needs!
