The first season of High School DxD was written by Takao Yoshioka, directed by Tetsuya  Yanagisawa, and produced by TNK. It aired from January 6, 2012, to March 23, 2012, and is one of the most important and beloved seasons of High School DxD. The story incorporates the struggles of devils and angels. Following the life of Issei Hyodo, he’s a high school student who almost got killed on his first date, however, an angel comes to save him.

This angel is none other than the popular Rias Gremory, who has a beautiful body with red hair. She’s a devil in actuality, however, she serves Issei and that’s how the story begins. It contains a total of 12 episodes that are heaven for Anime fans even though Rias is a devil! If you’re starting out High School DxD, do not skip any episode! You might need to control yourself not watching the season anyways

 

2. High School DxD New (2013)

The second season of High School DxD is known as High School DxD New (2013). Containing a total of 12 episodes, this season aired from July 7, 2013, to September 22nd, 2013. This season adapts the 3rd and 4th volumes of the light novels, and the episodes are formed using two arcs. It incorporates The Excalibur of the Moonlit Schoolyard and The Vampire of the Empty Classroom from the manga. 

In High School DxD New, there are a total of 4 theme songs. Two of them are opening and then two of them a closing themes. If you made it this far in the Anime, you’ll start to become a crazy fan of the series. 

 

3. High School DxD BorN (2015)

The third season of High School DxD is called High School DxD BorN. It aired from April 4, 2015, to June 20, 2015. The first ten-episode of BorN is adapted from the fifth and seventh volumes of the Light Novel. However, the last two episodes contain their own arc. It’s from the Anime. 

This time, we got to see another opening named  “Bless Your Name” by ChouCho. No, this is not ChoCho from Boruto, it’s our beloved musician! Aside from that, “Give Me Secret” by StylipS is the ending song in the 3rd season of High School DxD.

Now, let’s talk about the 4th season of High School DxD. Also known as High School DxD Hero, it aired from April 10, 2018, to July 3rd, 2018. Being one of the most popular seasons, it incorporates the ninth and tenth volumes from the Light Novel. This time, it’s directed by Yoshifumi Sueda, and the season was written by Kenji Konuta.
