Hellsing History
Hellsing is originally a manga series written and illustrated by Kouta Hirano. It started serializing in May 1997. It ended in September 2008. There are a total of 10 volumes in this manga. An anime series was released in October 2001 and ended in January 2002. It has a total of 13 episodes. An OVA named Hellsing Ultimate was released in 2006 and ended in 2012. A Prequel series named Hellsing: The Dawn was released in 2011 with a total of 3 episodes.
Hellsing Story
The anime introduces us to an organization named Hellsing that is known for combating supernatural beings. Their new mission is to eliminate the ghouls devouring the villagers of Cheddar. For this mission, the leader of the organization chooses her most reliable member, Alucard, who is also a vampire.
Alucard only needed a handgun to take out his opponents. He goes to the village of Cheddar and starts eliminating the ghouls. Amidst the chaos, a female police officer named Seras Victoria ends up getting wounded. Alucard comes across the woman and gives her two choices; either she dies or she becomes a vampire and lives as one.
Seras is desperate to keep living. She accepts getting turned into a vampire. Seras then joins the Hellsing organization. Initially, she struggles with her new kind of life. But she soon gets to know the organization better and fights for them. Many unknown dangers are waiting ahead for her but she must fight along with the eccentric vampire, Alucard.

Hellsing Ultimate Story
Hellsing Ultimate is an OVA which tells us the story of Alucard and Seras Victoria. Both of them work for the “Hellsing Organization”. Their job is to protect the leader of the organization as well as to fend off different supernatural beings/vampires who are lurking in the streets of England. An organization named “Millenium” is the root cause of all the deadly attacks. Will the organization of Hellsing be able to prevent the deadly war?
Hellsing: The Dawn Story
Hellsing is able to recover some information about the attempted production of the “undead”. The organisation fears that the Nazis would use these creatures to win WWII. The organization has decided to send two of its strongest pawns named Alucard and Walter C. Dornes to Poland in order to extract more information about the experiments going on that could prove deadly to the entire humanity. Now, they must put an end to the Nazi’s efforts and save humanity.

Alucard
Alucard is a total badass when it comes to fighting his opponents. He’s absolutely ruthless and doesn’t hesitate to kill anyone that comes in his way. He’s arrogant and tends to look down upon his opponents. He also loves mocking them. As Alucard is a vampire, he envies humans as they’re able to go through old age and endure it. He has immense respect for humans as well.
