This season contains two different arcs. The first arc takes place from episode 1 to 19 and then the last four episodes are a different arc. In this season the protagonist plans to defeat the dark guild.

About Season:
Season 8. This is the second to last season of Fairy Tail. It contains only 12 episodes and out of those 12 episodes, one is a filler episode. One of those episodes is a mixed one too.

The First Morning (2013)

In this movie, they show the entirety of Eclair’s life. You will get to know who Eclair is when you watch Fairy Tail. Eclair’s village gets an intrusion due to which she has to leave it.

As the title states, this OVA focuses more on the fight and comparisons between Natsu and Mavis.
This OVA has lots of twists, teamwork, betrayal, friendship, and enemies. It has almost everything you would need.
OVA 9: Fairies’ Christmas (2016)

About OVA:
A Christmas party is held at Lucy’s house. However, Ezra is always the troublemaker. She convinces everyone to join her in a game and then leads that game. The simple party then turns into the most chaotic thing you have ever seen.
This was the final OVA of Fairy Tail and the excitement and thrill remain the same.
