Season 2 has a total of 24 episodes out of which 5 episodes are fillers while 19 are canon episodes. Fans were a bit upset about the number of episodes because they were very few compared to the first season.
This season contains two different arcs. The first arc takes place from episode 1 to 19 and then the last four episodes are a different arc. In this season the protagonist plans to defeat the dark guild.
This season has a lot of plot twists in it, and it builds up the hype of the 3rd season.

Season three also has a good percentage of canon episodes as it has only 3 filler episodes out of a possible 28.
Gildarts went on a hundred-year-long adventure and finally came back. This season showcases the arrival of Gildarts. Unfortunately, he brings bad news about Igneel. Natsu hears the news and is now determined to rescue their friends.

In this season, Hades gets into a battle with Makarov and defeats him. All the other members finally sensed him and found out that Makarov had been defeated.

Being the longest season, it was only right that it had the greatest number of arcs. This season has a total of 3 arcs included in it. Lucy and Natsu like to always continue their adventure and make sure to complete their missions.
They go on to investigate and uncover the secrets they had always eyed. When they reach their final destination, it is only fair that things get tougher. They find out it was all a trap.
Fairy Tail Season 8
About Season:
Season 8. This is the second to last season of Fairy Tail. It contains only 12 episodes and out of those 12 episodes, one is a filler episode. One of those episodes is a mixed one too.
Okay here is a bit of a spoiler, ignore this line if you do not want to get spoiled. Mavis and Yuri will end… Well let us just say fate has something special planned for them. The reign of dark magic begins to take place. Phew! Too much going on I’d say.

The First Morning (2013)

In this movie, they show the entirety of Eclair’s life. You will get to know who Eclair is when you watch Fairy Tail. Eclair’s village gets an intrusion due to which she has to leave it.
She takes precious Phoenix stone halves with her and is then taking care of it and protecting it from others. Lucy sees that Eclair is passed out and quickly goes to help. What happens to the stones and why are they so important? Watch to find out.

OVA 8: Natsu vs Mavis (2016)
About OVA:
As the title states, this OVA focuses more on the fight and comparisons between Natsu and Mavis.
This OVA has lots of twists, teamwork, betrayal, friendship, and enemies. It has almost everything you would need.
OVA 9: Fairies’ Christmas (2016)
About OVA:
A Christmas party is held at Lucy’s house. However, Ezra is always the troublemaker. She convinces everyone to join her in a game and then leads that game. The simple party then turns into the most chaotic thing you have ever seen.
This was the final OVA of Fairy Tail and the excitement and thrill remain the same.
