Just to let you know, detectives and lawyers always make a cool duo.
Anime Watch Order
Season 1

Season 1 of Detective Conan has about 28 episodes. This season covers the tragedy of Shinichi Kudo and explains the origins of Detective Conan. Kudo was 17 years old when he was poisoned, and with some twists, he soon became Detective Conan.
Season 2

Every century has a name they can’t forget, like Sherlock Holmes. Since it is a different dimension, the name everyone remembers is Conan. Season 2 of Detective Conan has 25 episodes.
One of the main events of this season was the Kidnapping of Conan himself. It was laid out perfectly, but the kidnappers were struck with bad luck. Okay, isn’t it natural that a detective like him can solve at least his own kidnapping case?
Season 3

It has a total of 27 episodes, and almost every episode is a murder case. But since Conan is a detective of a caliber, this is to be expected. This season was popular among the rest because of an exceptional entrance.
This season introduced the very famous antagonist and Conan’s arch-enemy Kaitou Kid.
Season 4

One of the best things to admire about Detective Conan anime was its unique style of portrayal and its connection to reality. In all 23 episodes of season 4, the creators maintained this level. The highlights of season 4 were the 2 back to back murder cases.
These cases were confusing enough to keep Conan on his toes consecutively for days. But in the end, we all know that Conan will get it solved no matter what!
Season 5

Like, how all other seasons of Detective Conan has some specialty or a highlight event. Season 5 has 27 episodes, and one of the most famous episodes of this season was episode 23. The reason was simple: after a long time, Conan got a link to the Black Organization.
Just to give you a reminder, it’s the same organization that poisoned Shinichi. Are you curious about what happens next? Okay, then what’s stopping you? Go ahead and start the fun ride, buddy!
Season 6

This season only contained a total of 27 episodes. Like all others, this season also revolves around the basic plot of a detective solving crimes. However, this was among the few seasons that have a variety of cases starting from disappearance, explosions, murders, and whatnot.
Season 7

You know guys! Number 7 is considered to be the lucky number for a lot of people. The same is the case with Detective Conan anime! So, season 7 is considered to be the golden season of this anime.
The only reason is that, among a total of 30 episodes, at least 10 episodes have been voted as the most-watched episodes! Among them, episodes 12, 15, 16 & 26, and others are on the top.
Season 8

Each season of this anime has something attractive in it and season 8, with its short 22 episodes, turned out to be the one that is on top. One of the reasons for the popularity of this season was the interaction between Kaitou and Conan.
Whenever they both come together, it’s a blast, just like James Moriarty and Sherlock Holmes. The only difference is that this time they were forced to work together. And trust me, the bromance is actually killing!
Season 9

Like I said earlier, every season of this anime has something that keeps it in the highlights. However, in terms of curiosity, season 9 takes the first rank with its 37 episodes. The reason is simple: each and every episode was full of curiosity.
Although all episodes of Detective Conan are like that in this season, the stories also get back to the Black Organization. And whenever it’s them, they raise the bar a little too high.
Season 10

A total of 30 episodes but all of them are fully loaded with curiosity, fun, and adventure. As compared to other seasons, season 10 had more rivalry-related episodes. Apart from Conan, many different characters that were either detectives or interested in becoming one were introduced in this season.
This season more or less revolves around the stories of characters related to Conan. But it definitely is worth watching if you want to know about Conan in detail.
Season 11

Season 11 of Detective Conan has 29 episodes in total. Although the plot follows the familiar story of Conan solving a lot of different cases, there is one thing that this season has, that’s worth watching.
The Black organization was involved in about 7 cases of this season. This makes it one of the seasons that has the most appearances of Black organizations.
Season 12

Like all other seasons, Season 12 also progressed with its 37 episodes. However, all episodes of this season were meaningful because Conan got to learn something new. The best part of this season was the golden episode 34.
The creators knew how to increase the hype with the involvement of the Black Organization in just one episode. A cruise costume party and an invitation for both Conan and Shinichi. If you are curious enough! Then you should watch this one.
Season 13

Season 13 is among the longest seasons of Detective Conan, with around 35 episodes. Unfortunately, this season does not have anything special except one thing. Can you guys guess that one thing?
No worries, I’ll tell you. It’s Kaitou Kid and his magical mid-air walk. Yes, you got that right; he ends up walking mid-air. If you want to know why then enjoy this one with your popcorn and detective suit.
Season 14

Okay so, if we talk about the overall popularity of seasons, then season 14, with its 36 episodes, was ranked number 09. So, yes, since we are on topic, I’ll give this as a bonus and let you know about this season’s popularity. Thank me later, my buddies.
Did you know that a detective can also be a magician? To be honest, if it’s a detective, then he can be anything! One of the reasons for the popularity of this season was the magic trick combo of Conan and his pal Heiji.
The other is the usual one; the Black Organization. Sheesh! These guys never stay still.
Season 15

From the beginning, Conan wanted to know why he was poisoned, and finally, he was getting clues. Yes, that’s right, from season 15 onwards, the interaction between Black Organization and Conan increases.
From a total of 38 episodes, at least there were 06 episodes in this season in which Black Organization showed up. So, from here on, you will see only the best of Conan.
Season 16

That awkward moment when Heiji praised Shinichi in front of Conan, saying, “Shinichi, that guy was better than you, Conan.” Lol, duh! I feel for Conan though. He can’t even thank him for the compliment.
Jokes apart! Season 16, with its 24 episodes, has been ranked 1st, in popular seasons of Detective Conan. There are many reasons, but I will list some. Kaitou Kid and his challenge to Conan, Heiji’s admiration for Shinichi, Heiji’s acknowledgment of Conan, Conan’s childhood memories, and Conan’s childhood cases, plus a lot more.
Season 17

Season 17, with its 36 episodes, is ranked number 4th in popular seasons of Detective Conan. It is also the only season with the longest and most-watched anime arc; “Clash of Red and Black.”
Woah! It’s giving me goosebumps already. This arc comprises 14 episodes, and a lot of mysteries about Black Organization surfaced. You will get to know about the truth of their new members, Kir and Hondou and a lot more. So, this one is a must-watch!
Season 18

Season 18, with its 37 episodes, is ranked 5th in popular seasons of Detective Conan. In addition, it has 10 episodes that were voted best among the most-watched episodes of this season.
Throughout the season, there are a lot of unique and new cases that will keep you occupied. But obviously, if Kaitou doesn’t make his appearance, it’s all for naught. So I think we should thank him for motivating Conan from time to time.
Season 19

Season 19 of Detective Conan is considered the most extended season with 39 episodes. In this season, you will get to know about a new member of the Black Organization. Moreover, they give Conan 3 challenges, but they don’t announce them since they are the bad guys.
Still, Conan is Conan from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, so we expect no less from him.
Season 20

Season 20 is also one of the longest seasons, with 39 episodes. The best part of this season is the “Holmes Revelation Arc.” No one can compare to Sherlock Holmes when it comes to becoming a highly functioning sociopath but surprise!
Conan is repeatedly compared with Sherlock Holmes in this season. Then, finally, he gets the title of “Holmes Apprentice.” Oh man, such a proud moment, I am already crying with happiness.
Season 21

Season 21 is ranked number 8th in popular seasons of Detective Conan, with its 34 episodes. The reasons for its popularity are its two small arcs. And guess what? Both of them are related to the Black Organization.
Season 22

Season 22 of Detective Conan has 34 episodes, with 09 episodes involving the Black Organization. This season is ranked 6th in popular seasons of Detective Conan. The reason for its popularity is its short arc, “The Jet-Black Mystery Train.”
Want to know what this is about? Then don’t ask me, buddy. I won’t spoil it for you. You have to enjoy it yourself.
Season 23

Season 23, with its 23 episodes, is the most favorite season of Kaitou and Conan lovers. It has the most number of episodes with Kaitou’s appearance. The rivalry and bromance between Kaitou and Conan created the hype to bring this season to its highlight.
Season 24

Season 24, with its 38 episodes, is ranked 10th in popularity from seasons of Detective Conan. The reason for its popularity is that one of the episodes is full of suspense and curiosity. The episodes portray the mystery behind Rikumichi Kusuda, a deceased member of the Black Organization, and his relation with Conan.
Season 25

Season 25, with its 38 episodes, is ranked number 7th in popular seasons of Detective Conan. This season is popular because of its short arc, “Scarlet.” It is basically a showdown arc between the members of Black Organization, the FBI, and another person who seems to be in disguise.
You have to watch it to find who he is. Good Luck!
Season 26

There are many mysteries in Detective Conan that are revealed with time. One of the reasons that season 26, with its 38 episodes, is ranked 3rd in popular seasons of Detective Conan is this!
Yes, heads up since this season has the answer to the greatest mysteries in the anime overall.
Season 27

Season 27 is the first runner-up as the most extended season of Detective Conan with 40 episodes. It gained popularity because of its two short arcs, “Soul Detective Murder Case” and “The Stage of Betrayal.”
Season 28

It has been a few episodes since we last saw Kaitou Kid with his slick moves and tricks. Well, worry not; in season 28, with its 28 episodes, you will get to see Kaitou a lot. Ah! The excitement is at its peak.
Season 29

Season 29 is the current season and takes first place as the most extended season of Detective Conan with 86 episodes and counting. In terms of popularity, this season is ranked 2nd. So, you can pretty much guess what it brings.
This season contains a lot of suspense, mystery, and answers to those mysteries regarding Black Organization. But oh, wait! It has a lot more than this but to know that you have to watch it yourself.
OVAs Watch Order
OVA 1 “Conan vs Kid vs Yaiba”

Imagine that you get a serum that changes your body, and people think that you are someone else! Abruptly, things keep happening, and you have a hard time understanding them. The same story occurs in OVA 1, where there is a lot of drama, suspense, and mystery.
In the end, Conan opens his eyes and finds himself on his bed. Duh! All that was in a dream!

This is among the funniest OVAs of Detective Conan. 16 people, including a mouse, are suspects of smashing an expensive wine bottle in this one. You will be surprised to know who exactly the culprit is in this one!

Even the vacations of detectives are full of suspense and adventures. Conan and Heiji, on their vacation, help three kids to find their lost friend Satoshi. During this small adventure, they capture robbers and a lot of jewels and gold that Satoshi finds.

The story revolves around the Detective Boys. They are working on a project to study a person in the line of their work. They end up following Richard and helping him along with Conan in solving a kidnapping cum blackmailing case.

The fact that even the culprits make mistakes is proved in this one. Conan and Heiji try to locate the culprit who buys a diamond that is not supposed to be in the market. Unfortunately, the culprit drops the diamond from a bridge in its pursuit, and it lands in Kid’s hands. So what happens next? If you are curious, then let’s watch it together.
OVA 7 "Agasa vs. Conan and the Detective Boys"

In this one, a treasure hunt challenge from Agasa to the detective boys goes wrong. Agasa is kidnapped by kidnappers while trying to save a woman. Agasa seeks help from Conan, and as always, our hero is the savior of the day.
OVA 8 "High School Girl Detective Sonoko Suzuki's Case Files"

After working as a detective, you usually know how the criminals would think. The same thing happens in this OVA, where Sonoko writes a script for a play that includes murder. The script has many flaws, and Ran calls Shinichi, aka Conan. And then boom!
OVA 9 "Stranger in 10 Years"

This one is based on a dream of Conan where he finds himself in Shinichi’s avatar. He finds out that 10 years have passed, and his love interest Ran is still waiting for Shinichi before giving her reply to Tomoaki.
OVA 10 "Kid in Trap Island"

Once again, Kid is in the spotlight in this one, and the bromance is lit. Kaitou Kid steals a diamond from a businessman only to find that it is fake. But after a few incidents, he ends up with the Detective Boys in their pursuit of Shinchi.
On the other hand, Conan saves Kid from the businessman, and then…then what? Who knows? I am definitely not going to spoil this one for you.
OVA 11 "The Secret Order From London"

My precious fellas, please don’t judge this one from its name. This story revolves around Agasa and Conan on their trip to London. After a lot of hustle, they find that Agasa is secretly importing peanut butter and jelly. LOL, what a kid!
OVA 12 "The Miracle of Excalibur"

This OVA is the heartiest one of all. Agasa, along with Conan and Hibara, is trying to cheer up the only girl on the baseball team. She was bullied by boys, and oh man, Agasa is a righteous one.
