MOST POWERFUL ANGELS AND EVAS FROM NEON GENESIS EVANGELION
1. Unit- 01

Unit-01 is a giant biomechanical robot, known as an “Evangelion”, in the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is piloted by the main character, Shinji Ikari, and serves as a vital weapon in the fight against the Angels, mysterious beings that threaten humanity’s existence. Unit-01 is known for its incredible strength and power, as well as its unique ability to synchronize with its pilot’s emotions, allowing it to perform at its best in battle. It was created by the organization NERV and is powered by an “S2” engine, a fictional power source that allows the Evangelion to have seemingly limitless energy. Unit-01 is also equipped with a wide range of weapons, including progressive knives, a pallet rifle, and an Umbilical Cable that connects the Eva to an external power source.
Unit-01 also has a special relationship with Shinji, it is the first Evangelion created and is also the only one that can truly synchronize with its pilot. It is also revealed later in the series that Unit-01 is made from the body of Lilith, the second Angel, and it’s considered to be the “Adam” of the Evangelions. Unit- 01 is undoubtedly the strongest character in the series.
2. Adam

Adam is one of the Angels in Neon Genesis Evangelion. Adam is the first Angel and the progenitor of all life on Earth, including humanity. In the series, it’s revealed that the first Angels, including Adam, have been discovered at the bottom of the geofront, an underground city that serves as NERV’s headquarters. Adam’s story plays a significant role in the series, as it is related to the origin of the Angels and the Evangelions, and also to the themes of identity and humanity that are central to Neon Genesis Evangelion. Adam’s abilities are not fully explained in the series, but it is suggested that it has the power to create life, manipulate genetic material and evolution, and create other Angels, it’s also the first and most powerful of the Angels. However, in a deadly fight between Adam and Unit – 01, Unit – 01 is the one to win.
3. Lilith

Lilith is one of the strongest angels in the Neon Genesis Evangelion. She’s the second angel and is considered the “mother” of the angels, also known as “Lilin’s mother” as Lilith was the one who created humanity. Throughout the series, Lilith is often depicted as a statue with a bound and crucified body and is described as being the source of the Lance of Longinus, a powerful weapon used by NERV to combat the Angels. It is also revealed that Lilith is the key to initiating the Human Instrumentality Project, a plan to merge all human souls into one being, which serves as the ultimate goal of the series’ overarching plot. It’s also revealed that Lilith and Adam, the first Angel, are siblings and that their relationship plays a significant role in the series
4. Armaros

Armaros is a mysterious Eva that is extremely powerful and more dangerous than any other Evangelion. It has the Spear of Longinus and a Sphear of Longinus as its weapons. Armaros is later revealed to possess the ability to wield the powerful weapon Azumaterasu without any negative consequences. This weapon, a bow, has the capability of destroying large portions of the moon with a single shot, and would normally turn its wielder into nothing but dust after each use. However, Armaros appears immune to this effect and declares a desire for revenge against humanity for the failed Human Instrumentality Project.
5. Unit- 13/Evangelion-13

Unit – 13 was first introduced to us in the movie Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. It is piloted by Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa. It looks pretty much like Evangelion Unit – 01 which happens to be its predecessor. nit 13 is unique among the Evangelion units, it has several distinctive features. One of its most notable characteristics is that it requires the use of two Entry Plugs, which are used for the pilots to control the Eva, as it needs two souls to wield this Eva and two Spears at the same time.
Though it requires two pilots, it can be configured so that a single pilot can have full control over it. Its physical strength is also noteworthy, as it was able to overpower and toss Unit-02 around even when Shinji was fighting against Asuka. Unit- 13 is one of the strongest Evas out there. In Neon Genesis Evangelion, the strength of characters is portrayed in a variety of ways. The physical strength of the Evangelion units and Angels is showcased in their battles, while the psychological strength of the characters, particularly the pilots, is shown through their internal struggles and how they cope with the pressure and trauma of piloting the Evangelions.
6. Kaworu

Kaworu Nagisa is the fifth and final pilot of the Evangelion Unit-02 and joins the cast of characters in the second half of the series. Kaworu is a kind and gentle person who befriends the main character, Shinji, and helps him to understand and cope with the trauma he has suffered. Kaworu is initially presented as a mysterious and enigmatic figure, and it is later revealed that he is an Angel. However, unlike the other Angels, Kaworu has a genuine desire to understand and help humanity, rather than destroy it.
He is also the first person to be able to fully synchronize with Unit-02, which is something that only happens once every 14 years. Kaworu’s role in the series serves as a catalyst for the main character’s change, as he helps him to understand the true nature of the Angels and the Evangelions. Other than that, Kaworu has a high level of intelligence and can quickly understand complex scientific and technical information. He can understand the inner workings of the Evangelions and provide valuable insights.

Mark. 0.6 first appeared at the end of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are Not Alone Movie. Evangelion Mark.06 is an Eva unit with many rare or unique characteristics. As seen at the end of “Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance” the unit can fly, as well as the capability to re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere from orbit.
The exact details of its flight capabilities are unknown, but it can be assumed that it can levitate and it was dispatched to the moon after its completion and returned to Earth on its own without the aid of any transporters or carriers. In addition to its flight capabilities, Evangelion Mark.06 also appears to have no need for external power sources. This is indicated by the absence of any visible ports for an umbilical cable and the lack of any obvious external batteries. This feature is further reinforced by additional information provided in the series. Mark. 0.6 is one of the strongest Evas out there.
8. Armisael

Armisael is the 16th Angel and appears in the series climax. The other characters must work together to stop Armisael and save Asuka.
