But guess what, in Demon Slayer, there are a pretty ton of hot ladies that you don’t want to mess with and would rather be on their good side. From their beautiful looks, to their gracious fighting abilities, no wonder we are mesmerized with their character and we are eager to know more about them.
Table of Contents
That’s why, here we are, making a list of the strongest Demon Slayer female characters…Ranked! Maybe you’ll discover your next best girl on our list!
POWERFUL WOMEN IN DEMON SLAYER!
25. Sumi Nakahara

Sumi Nakahara is one of the not-so-gentle nurses at the Butterfly Mansion. She’s a bit creepy when you look at her, her eyes look exactly like buttons. I don’t know if you watched the horror movie “Coraline” but she is giving me PTSD.
Despite her appearance, she is a very energetic, very pure character. Always cheerful, always smiling, and always ready to help and encourage her patients, she’s a great nurse all in all. Like most of the other characters in the Demon Slayer series, her backstory is kinda expected. Her entire family was devoured by a demon. Orphaned and alone she was welcomed into the Butterfly Mansion so she can fight the monsters in her own way. When the three main characters were completely destroyed mentally and physically after their fight against the Lower 6 Spider Demon Rui, she was assigned to help them recover (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 143 Page 6).

She also helped another Demon Slayer, however, it was his heart that she mended and not his body. Genya Shinazugawa was staying at the Mansion and he aided her with a tricky situation when a wounded man was throwing a fit. She later visited his room to thank him for his assistance and told him that she heard him apologize to his brother in his sleep. She then asked him if the Wind Hashira was the brother in question, a statement that she deduced.
Now that the cat was out of the bag, he opened his heart to her and told her his story. When he was done, she told him with a smile that mistakes happen, that he should be grateful that they are still alive and because they are, they will have a chance to make up. She also told him to stop apologizing because he did more than enough to make amends and that it was now time that he forgave himself (Demon Slayer: One-Winged Butterfly Chapter 4).
Now about her combat abilities, they are close to none. You can say she has more knowledge about Breathing Styles than anything else. She was never shown using any techniques or any ability. She was one of the three nurses who taught the three main characters how to master Total Concentration: Constant (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 143 Page 6).
24. Kiyo Terauchi

Nurses are supposed to be cute angels here to put us back on our feet. I really can’t understand why they made them like old dolls that came out from horror films. Okay, I’m exaggerating, I don’t know why they creep me out so much. So yeah, Kiyo Terauchi is one of the famous trio of nurses of the Butterfly Mansion. She almost looks exactly like Sumi except her butterfly clips are pink and not blue. I think in the end, the mangaka just didn’t have the patience to put some imagination into the designs of not-so-important characters. No offense meant here Kiyo. I guess it’s the same story for personality. She is a bubble of positive energy who has the pureness and innocence of a child. Very supportive, she will give her all in everything she does for the sake of her patients.
I know it feels like I’m talking about the same characters as before, but I swear to you I am not, they are different people. They have different parents so the family that was killed here has nothing to do with Sumi. When Kiyo was young, she and her family were attacked by a crazed demon. Everyone died and she alone survived.

With no combat abilities whatsoever, when the Butterfly Mansion suggested she become a nurse that will heal the warriors that are fighting against the monsters, she immediately accepted. In a way, for her, every time someone she healed rid the world of a Demon, she could feel like she assisted him in some tiny way. After the Demon Slayers fought on Mount Natagumo, three injured Demon Slayers arrive at the Mansion in a horrible state. Not only did she care for them, but she also helped in their rehabilitation.
As for Nezuko, you’d be shocked to know that the girl is very down-to-earth. She didn’t have any ill-feeling toward her as she knew she was one of the good guys and even rooted for her and her brother. When Sumi told Tanjiro about Total Concentration: Constant, as he trained his butt off you could always see her encouraging him from the sidelines (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 143 Page 6).
23. Naho Takada

The last piece of the trio is here. I won’t bother describing her, she is the copycat version of the two other nurses that could’ve been her triplet sisters. The main difference between the three is that Naho’s Butterfly clips are white. She wasn’t seen much in the series, however, from the few scenes that we watched, it was quite obvious that like the other two, she is an optimistic character who puts her work above everything.
Serious when performing her duties, she still never misses keeping a bright smile on her face to lighten up the hearts of the injured. Although I don’t think a nice smile on a creepy face doesn’t really help, it’s the intention that counts. Diligent, she and the other three are always the ones tasked with the recovery of the most crucial characters of the anime, and I think that should vouch for their ability as healers. I mean Shinobu herself chose them.

Naho didn’t have an easy life like all the warriors who are working in the Demon Slayer Corps. A demon thought her family was his midnight snack and feasted on them. She managed to keep her life, although at the time, I believe she thought it would’ve been better if she had died. She found a reason to keep moving forward when the Butterfly Mansion took her in. At least now she was part of the fight against the cruel demons.
When Tanjiro and his group arrived at the Mansion after their destructive fight against Rui on Mount Natagumo, she helped the other three in their rehabilitation and in Tanjiro’s personal training to learn how to use Total Concentration: Constant. Finally, her combat ability is none existent. She is a normal human and looking at her build we can theorize that she might be weaker than even the average man (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 143 Page 6).
22. Nichika Ubuyashiki

She laid the tragic life of a girl as young as her. Born within the Ubuyashiki family along with her quintuplets, from the second she opened her eyes, from the second she learned how to walk, how to talk, she had immense responsibilities to shoulder (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 144 Page 6).
Accompanied by her twin sister, she had the responsibility of taking care of their ill father who was at the time, the Commander of the Demon Slayer Corps. A huge task considering he was the light of the soldiers who are protecting this world from the darkness. When the final battle against Muzan came, her father sacrificed himself willingly and died at the hands of the King of Demons. A noble sacrifice, however, it didn’t only cost him his life but also the lives of his daughters.
Hinaki took her own life when her father drew his last breath and Nichika followed right after her. Throughout the entire anime, Nichika’s personality wasn’t revealed, so taking into consideration her suicide, we can at least tell that just like all her other sisters, her sense of loyalty is astonishing.

That’s just my own opinion, but no matter how selfless her death was, I still believe it was a useless one since her life could’ve or would’ve mattered in the future fights that the Demon Slayers had to endure. In the end, it was not just Kagaya Ubuyashiki whom they respect and turn to to find courage and hope, but the entire Ubuyashiki household. In terms of skills and abilities, her combat potential is 0 and there isn’t something that was especially distinguishable about her, we barely had the pleasure to see her anyway.
There is one thing that comes to mind; however, you can label it as some kind of talent that can only activate when her twin, Hinaki, is present. They are perfectly synchronized, not only do they have the same movements and end each other phrases, but they also speak in harmony for entire paragraphs.
21. Hinaki Ubuyashiki

Out of the five Ubuyashiki siblings, Hinaki is the oldest one. Although we don’t get to see her much in the anime, she showed from time-to-time moments of kindness. She is a quiet and calm character, always cool and composed who never loses her cold blood no matter the situation. She is only 8 and it’s as if she does not feel fear (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 144 Page 6).
Loyalty might be her second name. When her father sacrificed himself in order to give the Demon Slayers a chance to defeat the overpowered King of Demons, Muzan, she didn’t hesitate to follow him to the grave. From the beginning till the end, she never left his side. During his glory days, during sickness, and during death, she was right here. Her love for him is indescribable, he was her everything and when her everything was gone, she didn’t find that life was worth living anymore. Another trait of the Ubuyashiki household, all of them are quite intelligent, but their physical abilities leave much to be desired.

They look frail, don’t act frail, but are overly frail. I mean when you look at them always smiling even when their life is being threatened, you’d be sure that they were waiting to pull some extraordinary move to make their enemies bow before them. Oh well, that never happened. When it’s not about their father, I think they are emotionally dead. They must be able to handle the responsibilities that they were given considering their young age.
I said it before, the girl has just one ability, the ability to perfectly synchronize with her twin sister Nichika. It’s a useless talent but it’s kinda cool when you see those giving orders simultaneously with their monotonous voices. Also, she is quite pretty, all dressed up in her perfectly tailored kimono. The eyes are the problem, the big jet-black dark eyes that show no feeling, no soul as if she was dead inside. The five of them in a scary movie would make a huge hit. If you can’t get enough with these female characters, you might want to watch the whole series. So here, we recommend you checking our Demon Slayer watch order guide!
20. Kanata Ubuyashiki

The youngest daughter of the previous Demon Slayer Corp leader, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, Kanata is now serving her Oni-Sama, Kiriya Ubuyashiki who became her father’s successor. Beautiful in a creepy kinda way, she is an emotionless Japanese doll who is task-oriented, intelligent, diligent, and never fazed (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 8 Pages 10-11). When Genya grabbed her head threatening her life at the end of the Final Selection Arc, she didn’t make any reaction, her smile didn’t even flutter (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 8 Pages 13-16).
The one time she ever broke apart was when she remembered the death of her beloved parents. She broke out in tears and was brought back to her senses by the harsh words of her brother and Master (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 147 Page 2). To mature for her age, she never had the opportunity to enjoy her childhood due to the responsibility that came with her family name. Her mental fortitude is as strong as that of any war veteran and that’s just abnormal, especially considering that her parents were loving.

When her parents passed, she stayed faithful to the Corp, deciding on her own to become the right hand of Kiriya whom she served loyally. Her job is no easy one, if you think about it, she has the lives of their subordinates in her hands. However, as difficult as it must be, and as young as she is, there is no responsibility she cannot handle. Her memory is extraordinary, terrifying even. The biggest display of her amazingness is when she had to entirely memorize the map of the Infinity Castle, a Castle that is constantly changing structure. She did it without breaking a sweat. And memorizing was not all she did. She was also able to track the location of every one of her allies.
From normal soldiers to the Hashira’s, using the information that she was able to gather, she provided impeccable logistical support, and that was a tremendous advantage for the Demon Slayers. While her intellect is amazing, her physical abilities on the other hand are a completely different story. They are pitiful, to say the least. She might look strong and all, but the truth is she is a timid child that’s faint of heart who can only use her hands to beautifully play the Koto (Demon slayer Manga: Volume 21, Extra Pages).
19. Kuina Ubuyashiki

Just like her younger sister Kanata, she is currently serving her older brother who took her father’s title as the leader of the Demon Slayer Corp after he passed away (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 144 Page 6). I won’t bother describing her, all the daughters of the Ubuyashiki house look exactly the same. It’s super difficult to separate them.
I think this is a family trait, loyalty is in their blood. They don’t know the definition of betrayal and that’s just beautiful between family members. There was no power struggle when their parents died. They accepted their brother without any problem. In terms of personality, she is the strong one. While the brother was always the one reminding his other sisters of their duties, she is the one to keep her brother on track. Always staying on top of him, pushing him to give even more as the Supreme Commander of the Demon Slayers.

When the stress and the immense responsibilities that he has to shoulder became too much for him, she was the one to lift the weight with him, and she never once broke apart under the pressure or under the pain of loss (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 181 Pages 1-4). Just like Kanata, her memorizing abilities are also amazing. Her sister had the major role; however, she was right by her side assisting at every step of the way. Her contribution was something no one took lightly; the woman is in one word amazing.
She even was part of mapping the theoretical route that the King of Demons, Muzan should be taking inside the changing Infinite Castle structure. Compared to the other sister, her physical abilities are quite good. She was bestowed the nickname “slap princess“. She had the nasty tendency of slapping those around her when her emotions burst out. At least, every time she does it, she ends up regretting her action (Demon Slayer Manga: Volume 21, Extra Pages).
18. Amane Ubuyashiki

Previously known as Amane Himorogi, when she married Kagaya, she took his last name and became Amane Ubuyashiki. She is the mother of four daughters and a son that for some reason he dressed as a girl all his life and she is also the main caretaker of her sick husband (Demon Slayer Second Fanbook).
Just like the rest of the family, the woman is strict, serious, and possesses an incredibly strong mentality. She is calm, always composed, and acts like a respectful and noble lady at all times. When Kayaga’s health was rapidly degrading, she was the one in charge of giving orders to the Hashira. She always talked with them very tactfully to let them know that they were still in good hands. She didn’t become infatuated with the Corps because of her husband, she genuinely cares for it and would do anything to tilt the tide of the battle toward them. Her marriage to the Commander was arranged, however, she grew to have real feelings for the noble man and faithfully stood by his side supporting him as he was fighting his illness.

She is a cold-blooded woman who never shows any kind of emotion. The one-time expression changed to fear when Kagaya was arriving at the end of his life. She completely panicked as he started coughing as she was desperately trying to help in vain. However, her devotion was fully proved when she willingly committed suicide along with her husband and her two daughters, Nichika and Hinaki, by bombing herself to death and injuring the great Muzan in the process.
She was the one who raised the children into the mentally iron-strong individuals that they are today. She might have been severe, however, she did it for their own good knowing that tragedy will soon be upon them.As for abilities, while her children have unbelievable memorizing abilities, she on the other hand, is born a leader. An adept at military schemes and strategies, a charismatic commander who could handle even the overpowered Hashira’s, Amane is just Kakkoii (Demon Slayer Manga: Volume 16).
17. Aoi Kaznaki

Officially, Aoi is a full-fledged Demon Slayer who passed the final exam. However, she revealed to Tanjiro during the Rehabilitation Arc that she was too scared to fight the demons so she decided on the work at the Butterfly Mansion. You can say she is the head nurse there. I’ll reassure you now that the girl has real eyes. She would’ve even been considered cute. She would give up a smile once in a while and let go of her scary fierce look, a look that says I’m gonna drive that needle into your body.
When the three main characters arrived at the Mansion, before Kanao’s debut, she was the one training them and she didn’t go easy on them at all. For their own good, to make them stronger, she made them surpass their limits. Even though she might look angry all the time, Aoi has a very kind heart. She cares very much about all her patients and gets especially attached to the goofy trio (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 53 Pages 7). It looked like she enjoyed herself very much in their presence and even shed some tears while talking about Inosuke’s grave injuries (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 53 Pages 8-9).

I did say that she passed the Final Exam, however, I didn’t tell you how. She stayed hidden the entire time until the time was up and she ran like crazy toward the goal to make the nightmare end (Demon Slayer Second Fanbook). Like any Demon Slayer who got through the training of their mentors her physical strength is way above that of average humans, however, her power can’t even be compared to that of Tanjiro and his bunch.
Her medical knowledge is quite advanced. Shinobu, the Insect Hashira, herself trained her. Thanks to her, she mastered all the basics and is even capable of brewing medicine to treat her patients. That info is not super important but it’s a talent nonetheless. She is fairly good at craftsmanship. She was the one to fix Nezuko’s box when the Wind Hashira damaged it (Demon Slayer Manga: Volume 6, Extra Pages). She is a user of the Water Breathing style, but as soon as she joined the Butterfly Mansion, she stopped training. We do not know how many techniques she is able to use. You might also want to check our strongest Demon Slayer characters list if you’re curious about their strengths and abilities!
16. Suma

Suma is a ninja, a kunoichi to be exact. She is one of Tengen Uzui’s, the Sound Hashira’s three wives, and is currently working alongside him for the Demon Slayer Corps. Suma is a beautiful woman, worthy of being the spouse of an amazing Hashira. In terms of looks, she passes the bar, but in terms of personality, it’s a whole other story. For a trained ninja who is supposed to be strong and courageous, she is quite the cowardly crybaby. She burst into tears more than Zenitsu himself and that says a lot.
She is a drama queen who wears her emotions on her sleeves. She exaggerates everything. Shove her a bit and she’ll say that you beat her up and go complain to Tengen-Sama about her misery. She might look like a grown-up woman, however, on the inside, she is only an immature kid who loves to get praised and petted on the head by her beloved husband.

She gets irritated super easily for stupid reasons. She gets into a lot of fights with the two others just because she gets overly emotional. Raised to be an emotionless weapon, it was Tengen who softened her up. Taught to put the mission above even her life, he told her to throw away everything they ever told her to do and cherish herself first (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 80 Pages 1-3).She first appeared when the Entertainment District Arc began. She was tasked by the Sound Hashira to infiltrate the district, gather information, and maybe even locate the Demon that was eating the people, however, she was captured instead.
She was saved by Inosuke who found where the captured women were being kept as prisoners. As he was fighting against the Obi, she was protecting the humans who were just freed (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 90). Just to make things clear, she might be working with the Corps, but she is not a Demon Slayer. She does not possess any kind of super human ability and in normal cases, should go near demons. However, her Kunoichi training puts her above normal humans at least and she wields Kunais magnificently.
15. Makio

Makio is one of Tengen’s other wives. A hot-blooded ninja with anger issues, you can easily find some similarities to Inosuke. She is tough and confident, and acts violently from time to time, especially when dealing with the crybaby of the group, Suma (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 79 Page 10). She left her village to follow Tengen-Sama, a husband she didn’t choose but loves with all her heart.
Before they began their journey to find Kagaya Ubuyashiki, Tengen asked them to forget what they were taught in that village, to forget the fact that they were Kunoichi and that the mission, compared to their lives, was nothing (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 80 Pages 1-3). She soon joined the Demon Slayer Corps, however, she is no Demon Slayer herself. You can consider her the Sound Hashira’s assistant (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 87 Page 10). When the Entertainment District Arc started, she was given the mission to infiltrate it and find the demon that was terrorizing the people.

Things didn’t really go as planned, since, just like Suma, she was captured and imprisoned inside the Obi. Inosuke was the one to get her out of her pinch and she assisted him by protecting the other hostages that were just freed (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 79). She looks and acts like a brute, but even brutes have a soft side and her soft side only shows up for her beloved.
When he was poisoned by the Upper Six demons and on the brink of death, she was about to lose it. Unable to help, the face she made when she saw Nezuko instantly heal him is unforgettable (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 94 Page 14). Purely speaking about physical strength, the girl is the strongest of the three. Extremely courageous, she does not waver in front of danger. She only breaks down when she wants to be consoled by her husband. She is a master at wielding the Kunais, but doesn’t have any special ability, she is only allowed to assist on missions thanks to the ninja training that she received which makes her at least more dependable than mundane humans.
14. Hinatsuru

Hinatsuru is the last of the three wives of the Sound Hashira, Tengen Usui. Her story is quite similar to the other two. She married Tengen because she was ordered to, however, her love for him is real. Like the other two, she worships him with all her heart. She follows his instruction to the letter. When asked to discard what she was taught as a ninja, she was the first to accept it and start fresh by acting like a decent human being who cherishes her life (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 80 Pages 1-3).
She had basic ninja training, she is able to handle herself quite well. If you had to compare her to someone, she is just like Tanjiro, a small ray of sunshine in the dark. She is of a rare beauty, when she infiltrated the Entertainment District, she quickly became the Oiran of her house (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 71 Pages 9-12). She also had an important part to play when the fight against the Upper Moon Six began. She stayed behind instead of evacuating and when her Lord was in a pinch, a surprise attack from her saved his life (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 89 Pages 13-19).

Way too kind and compassionate to be a warrior, every time trouble arises, she shuts off her soft emotions. Courage, dedication, strength, and determination are all that is left in her. Planning ahead, strategizing, and using her head to make up for her weakness makes her a dangerous opponent. Out of the three, you might say she was the only one who succeeded in her mission. At least she wasn’t captured. She discovered who the demon in hiding was, but she couldn’t make any rash moves knowing that she was stronger than she was.
To be able to leave the house without steering suspicion, she drank poison and was kicked out. Tengen found her just in time to give her the antidote (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 76 Page 3). While the other two are only shown using normal Kunai, Hinatsuru has something a bit stingier for the demons. She was using a special Wisteria-Laced Kunai able to manage the demons. Wisteria is a plant that’s like poison for them. Also, she is armed with a crossbow enabling her to shoot multiple attacks from a fair distance (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 90 Page 2).
13. Makomo

Makomo was, like Tanjiro and Sabito, one of Sakonji Urokodaki, the former Water Hashira’s disciple. But he wasn’t just her mentor, he was also her adoptive father. She looks cute and frail, but I can assure you, she is not. Contrarily to her partner Sabito who is violent and aggressive, she is composed, quiet, calm, and sweet. When her soul was helping Tanjiro train to cut the boulder, she showed a lot of patience towards the boy who wasn’t getting any better (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 5).
Always giving advice and words of encouragement, even if she didn’t spare him, she was a great help to the young warrior. Why was her soul helping and not her? The answer is simple. The poor girl is dead. When her training was done and came her time to take the Final Exam to become a Demon Slayer, she ran into, let’s say a small problem. One of the Demons, the Hand Demon, which Sakonji had imprisoned to become one of the obstacles of the exam grew way too strong, devouring each year every single one of his students. Way too OP for newbie warriors, she didn’t stand a chance against a vengeful demon (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 7).

However, even after dying because of her teacher’s blunder, the only thing she had to say about him is that she loved him from the bottom of her heart and didn’t have any kind of resentment toward him.
On the contrary, she wanted Tanjiro to kill the cruel demon so that all of Sakonji’s future students would be somewhat safe while undertaking the test. As for her abilities, just the fact that she survived Sakonji’s training proves how determined and strong-willed she is. Earning the right to take the exam is also a feat by itself. And normally, if the test was fair, she should’ve passed it without any problems. Makomo didn’t have much power, her strong suit was her incredible agility. She was able to evade all the Hands Demon rush of attacks as if they were coming at her in slow motion.
She is a user of the Water Breathing technique and here are all the attacks that she could use:
· First Form: Water Surface Slash (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 7 Page 21).
· Second Form: Water Wheel (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 6 Page 18).
· Third Form: Flowing Dance (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 16 Page 22).
· Fourth Form: Striking Tide (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 6 Page 13).
· Fifth Form: Blessed Rain After the Drought (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 31 Page 19).
· Sixth Form: Whirlpool (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 12 Page 11).
· Seventh Form: Drop Ripple Thrust (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 136 Page 11).
· Eighth Form: Waterfall Basin (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 10 Page 19).
· Ninth Form: Splashing Water Flow, Turbulent (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 25 Page 11).
· Tenth Form: Constant Flux (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 39 Page 12).
12. Spider Demon (Older Sister)

A human was turned and became a weak demon. Hunted by the Demon Slayers, she made her way into Natagumo Mountain. There she met Rui and Rui, the Lower Five, gave her a choice. Become a member of his family or die a pitiful and meaningless death. That wasn’t really a choice, however, death might have been the better option. Using an extremely painful process, Rui remodelled her face to make her look like him.
After that, she had to concentrate every second of the day to stop her face from healing and turning back into her original form. Rui also shared some of his power with her, which as well was hellish pain as he was transferring his blood into her body (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 41). When her assimilation was done, the real nightmare began. For a cowardly girl with no backbone, having to deal with a short temper and sadistic upper-class demon was a challenge, to say the least. Always on her guard, she couldn’t rest for a second. As much as she hated her fake family and the situation she was in, she knew that she couldn’t escape so she didn’t even attempt it.

She is a selfish demon who only cares about her own safety and will do anything that benefits her. When the Demons Slayers invaded, she mercilessly killed many of them, the thought of switching sides didn’t even occur to her since she was sure that they didn’t stand a chance Tough luck for her, the last opponent she had to face was the devious Insect Hashira, Shinobu. Faking kindness and understanding, the naïve demon trusted her words and revealed how many humans she had killed (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 41).
Upon hearing the information, Shinobu made her suffer a slow death at the hands of her poisonous techniques. The Spider Daughter is fairly strong. She managed to kill the biggest number of Demon Slayers thanks to her cocoon, and let’s not forget about how amazing her regeneration abilities are. Her Blood Demon Art is Silk Manipulation which allows her to manipulate almost invisible spider threads and Acid Manipulation, she can make acid strong enough to dissolve an entire person in no time (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 41).
11. Spider Demon (Mother)

The Spider Mother story is quite similar to the daughters, however, it’s even more tragic. The demon Rui chose to be the mom was just not appropriate for the role. Nothing but a small child with difficulty controlling her powers, she had a really hard time keeping her spider face. Her personality is also that of a weakling thus she was constantly bullied and abused not only by the terrifying Lower Five but by the Spider Father who would beat her relentlessly almost every day.
After all she had to go through, it’s no surprise that she turned into an unemotional monster, cruel, merciless, and ruthless, especially towards humans. Thanks to her ability, she was able to control the bodies of multiple Demon Slayers. She turned them into her puppets and had fun making them kill each other (Demon Slayer Anime: Episode 16). It was also revealed that she had some gruesome sadistic tendencies. She kept some of her enemies alive and made them agonize in immense pain for hours before they drew their last breath.

When her time came, she embraced death like a sweet lullaby knowing that she wouldn’t have to ever see the face of her torturers. It was Tanjiro who gave the final blow and you know how he is. Capable of drawing feelings from the coldest of hearts, he made the mother remember her human life, her warm life. Before vanishing, she thanked him with a smile on her face and even warned him of the danger that was awaiting him deep in the forest.
Rui and the Spider Father were disappointed that Mother did not live up to their expectation in terms and power, however, the girl was quite strong. She possesses an extraordinary shape-shifting ability. She can remodel her entire body at will. A skill that can come in quite handy to lure people into traps. She has two Blood Demon Arts. The first one is Puppetry. Using invisible spider threads she can take control of any body and manipulate them at will. The second is Spider Manipulation. With this, she can control the movements of minuscule white spiders. They are the soldiers who attached her Puppetry threads to her targets (Demon Slayer Anime: Episode 16).
10. Susamaru

She was one of the two main villains of the Asakusa Arc. Quite the ambitious cuckoo woman, she is determined to become strong enough to become part of the Twelve Kizuki (Demon Slayer Anime: Episode 8) She has the personality of an overly brutal child. She loves to play and will accept any challenge you throw at her. Her amused smile almost never leaves her face as if she was mocking all the opponents that have the stupidity to think they have a chance against her.
Her immaturity is rather shocking considering she might be quite old knowing that demons don’t age and that she accumulated a good load of power devouring humans for years. When she was young she was a passionate girl in love with handball. Muzan turned her and the ball that she cherished became her ultimate weapon (Demon Slayer Anime: Episode 8). With her six arms, she uses her handball to obliterate her enemies with supernatural monstrous strength. The first time Nezuko had to face her attacks, her leg was blown away. After she recovered, Nezuko seemed to have powered up. Now able to handle the deadly ball, Susamaru had to go all out against her and an interminable ball relay began between them (Demon Slayer Anime: Episode 9).

Interrupted by Tamayo in the middle of their match, the doctor insulted the King of Demons. Wanting to defend her beloved master, she said his name out loud and spilled the beans, a mistake that would cost her her life. Terrified, she starts running in a frenzy begging Muzan for forgiveness. But we all know that the Lord is good in many things, and forgiving is of course not one of them. The curse began its activation and giant arms sprouted from her body. Completely crushed from the inside out, only her eyes remained (Demon Slayer Manga and Anime: Chapter 18 and Episode 10).
So to conclude, Susamaru is very powerful and might have become one of the lower moons in the future if she had survived. Her physical abilities are terrifying. Her speed and her reflexes are also not a joke. I mean she turned a Temari into a cannonball that she throws at lightning speed. I said before that she had 6 arms, however, that’s not her original state. Using Flesh Manipulation she makes them grow to increase her attack power. Her Blood Demon Art is called Hiasobi Temari. She materialized a Temari that’s super resistant. She throws it and kicks it with all her might and it will not explode. Plus if her partner gets involved, she can even change its trajectory midway (Demon Slayer Anime: Episode 9).
9. Lower Rank 4: Mukago

Mukago is part of the Twelve Kizuki holding on to the title of Lower Moon Four. Remember how much trouble the three main characters had against Rui? Well, she is even more of a headache. We got to see her for less than half an episode. When she was summoned, Muzan was in a very foul mood and things didn’t really end well for her. Right after the Lower Five’s death, the King of Demons realized how weak the Lower Moons were. She ordered Nakime to summon them all into the Infinite Castle for let’s say a strategic meeting of demons (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 51).
Super confused and scared, Mukago is looking around her trying to understand the situation when a scary-looking woman appears before her. That woman was in fact Muzan and her terror amplified. Now on her knees, the Lord started talking. Having shown disrespect due to his new appearance, she was the first to deeply apologize on behalf of them all for her blunder. He voiced his disgust, complaining about how weak they are, how useless they are. All they have to do is indulge in pleasure, eat exquisite humans and become stronger and they can’t even do that (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 51).

Pissed, he kills the first Lower Moon. In total shock, Mukago’s thoughts are in alarm mode. However, what she didn’t know is that the Lord could hear everything. He asked her who she was more afraid of? The Demon Slayers or him? Without any hesitation, she said, him. However, that was a trap question since he already knew the answer.
He continued and said that she was the coward of the bunch since from the beginning she had zero intentions of going up against any Hashira. What good would it do to just throw her life away? Realizing he was reading her thoughts, she started begging for forgiveness in vain. Tears flew down her cheeks as she saw the giant arms rushing to her throat killing her in an instant (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 52).
8. Flower Hashira: Kanae Kocho

Kanae Kocho is the former Flower Hashira. She is also Shinobu Kocho’s One-Sama and the one who adopted Kanao Tsuyuri, who became her younger adoptive sister. She is an easy-going character who is always smiling, full of energy, and positivity. She has a golden heart, a golden heart that might have become her weakness along the road. She doesn’t take a side and she always looks at things objectively. She defends the ones who are in the right no matter who they are. She treats everyone equally and with respect no matter their origins.
This might sound a bit naïve, well, it was naïve during her days, however, Tanjiro proved that her dreams weren’t just fantasies. She wanted to find a way to live alongside demons peacefully, she wanted to befriend them, believing that they still had feelings and emotions just like humans, that they were more than just monsters. She looks and acts extremely sweet, but when lives are on the line, all the sweetness disappears leaving the stage for strictness, harshness, and seriousness.

When she and her sister were up against Doma, the Upper-Rank Two Shinobu was down, however, instead of going to her aid, she told her to stand up and fight while she had suffered a fatal injury from that same demon that she had battle till sunrise (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 142). Kanae acquired the title of Flower Hashira after she killed one of the Twelve Kizuki or if she managed to take the lives of more than fifty demons. That in itself proves how powerful a warrior she was.
She uses the Flower Breathing style and here is all the techniques she can use:
· Second Form: Honorable Shadow Plum (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 158 Page 5).
· Fourth Form: Crimson Hanagoromo (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 143 Page 14).
· Fifth Form: Peonies of Futility (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 158 Page 4).
· Sixth Form: Whirling Peach (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 158 Page 7).
· Final Form: Equinoctial Vermilion Eye (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 162 Page 18).
7. Insect Hashira: Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu is the current Insect Hashira. She gained her title after the death of her sister, Kanae, the Flower Hashira. Shinobu is not just a very powerful Demon Slayer, she is also their safety line. A prodigious doctor, she was the one to concoct most of the antidotes that saved hundreds of soldiers from demon poison.
She has a small build and because of it, she doesn’t have much strength. She is the only Hashira that is unable to completely decapitate a demon. However, she compensates for her weakness with her wits. Combining her Demon Slayer Art with the poison of her making, she becomes a deadly weapon to the monsters, maybe even deadlier than all the others who share her title.
She modified her Nichirin sword and turned it into a stinger to make it easier for her to pierce her enemies’ skin. I hope you can appreciate her ingenuity and craftiness. Among her feats, the most notable one is that she managed to survive a fight against the Upper Moon Two, Doma when she was still just a normal Demon Slayer and her sister’s right hand (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 142).

She managed to kill the Spider Demon, Daughter, while she was literally playing with her, a demon that killed more than eight warriors in a matter of minutes (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 41).
So to resume her awesomeness, she is a small girl with enhanced agility, enhanced strength, unbelievable speed and reflexes as well as colossal stamina and endurance. She also has an indomitable will and a sharp intellect paired with advanced medical expertise and Poisonous Physiology.
She used the Insect Breathing style consisting of the following techniques:
· Butterfly Dance: Caprice (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 41)
· Dance of the Bee Sting: True Flutter (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 141 Page 14)
· Dance of the Dragonfly: Compound Eye Hexagon (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 142 Page 6-7)
· Dance of the Centipede: Hundred-Legged Zigzag (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 142 Page 15-16)
6. Kanao Tsuyuri

Kanao is the adoptive sister of Kanae and Shinobu. Abused by her parents and left to die in a dilapidated and disgusting village, malnourished and dirty, she was finally sold as a slave to a random buyer. With no emotion, no will of her own, no desires, she was saved by the Flower Hashira who took her in. She was taught to fight, defend herself, and kill, however, something critical was still missing inside her heart.
She had dead eyes that even though they were beautiful could be found ugly. For every decision that she had to take, she would flip a coin, and depending on the side it lands on she would take action. The one who first lit her heart was Tanjiro and after her awakening, she changed. She was able to stand up to the Sound Hashira who was kidnapping her friend, she was able to make a move before consulting her coin, and she was able to voice her disagreement.

Aside from her peculiar personality, she is a warrior you do not want as an enemy. When Tanjiro and his group arrived at the Butterfly Mansion, she was the biggest challenge they had to face considering she had already mastered Total Concentration: Constant a long time ago. She was trained by two super-powerful Hashiras, so it’s no surprise she is so strong. What’s surprising is that she managed to surpass both of them.
She possesses enhanced strength, enhanced vision, overwhelming speed, and reflexes as well as massive stamina and endurance and an indomitable will. She took the best out of her two sisters and turned into a formidable Demon Slayer.
Like Kanae, she uses the Flower Breathing Style and those are the techniques she master so far:
· Second Form: Honorable Shadow Plum (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 158 Page 5)
· Fourth Form: Crimson Hanagoromo (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 143 Page 14)
· Fifth Form: Peonies of Futility (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 158 Page 4)
· Sixth Form: Whirling Peach (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 158 Page 7)
· Final Form: Equinoctial Vermilion Eye (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 162 Page 18)
5. Upper Rank 6: Daki

Daki was the main protagonist of the Entertainment District Arc. A woman of incomparable beauty and overwhelming jealousy, she posed as an Oiran of decades, devouring the most perfect woman who had the misfortune of catching her eyes (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 74 Page 8). Throughout her life, she accomplished a phenomenal achievement, only from a demon’s perspective. She managed to kill and devour 7 Hashiras. We have to give it to her, this is impressive (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 81).
Although you can find her a bit weak of an Upper Rank on her own, in the end, she was beaten up quite easily by the Sound Hashira when he found her, her true power manifesting when her brother blesses us with his ugly presence. Their biggest advantage is that you have to decapitate both of them simultaneously if you want the Upper Six to die. An extremely difficult feat to achieve considering the brother is twice as powerful as his sister (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 86 Page 15).

But we are not here for Gyutaro so let’s go back to Daki. She has an Extrasensory Perception, can manipulate her hair at will, and has speed and reflexes that are out of this world. Let’s not forget about her instant regeneration ability, her colossal strength, and developed intellect. I know she doesn’t look smart but she is.
Her Demon Blood Art is called Obi Sash Manipulation, I know it doesn’t sound very Kakkoii nor overpowered. Just watch the anime and you will change your mind instantly (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 81 Page 14).
4. Tamayo

Tamayo is a demon, however, just like Nezuko, she is a special one. First of all, she is not infatuated with Muzan like the others, he cannot read her mind and she doesn’t get paralyzed with fear in his presence. Second of all, the curse Muzan places on all his minions does not apply to her. She can say his name, talk about him, even insult him, and nothing will happen to her. She is free from his grasp.
She became friends with Tanjiro and Nezuko and turned into their ally. Tanjiro was tasked by Tamayo to collect the blood of powerful demons in order for her to create a cure that will turn back demons into humans. When the Demon Slayer invaded the Infinity Castle, she also joined forces with them and made a drug that will enable them to kill Muzan.

Before the Biwa Demon came into the picture, she was the King of Demons’ personal aid. However, what he didn’t know is that the woman loathed him for robbing her of her life and she tried to kill him. An attempt that was ultimately a failure. However, considering she escaped with her life which is an exploit by itself, we can start to fathom how strong she must be. To do a resume of her abilities, she had exceptional medical skills. Shinobu is a meager doctor compared to her and that says a lot.
Her Demon Blood Art is Spell Casting. By using her own blood as a catalysis she can activate various spells like Blood Bewitchment, Scent of Illusory Blood (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 14 Page 8), Visual Dream, Magical Aroma of Daylight (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 18 Page 14), Flesh Seed (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 138 Page 13). and others.
3. Upper Rank 4: Nakime The Biwa Demon

At first, she was just the maid that used to summon Muzan’s demons into his castle (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 51 Page 11-12). But at some point, congrats, she got promoted and that was bestowed the Title of Upper Moon 4 (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 134 Page 19). When she was still a human, she was a failed musician married to a hopeless gambler. A hopeless gambler that she ended up killing cuz he lost her only dress in a game.
She was performing that night. Still in shock and dressed like a beggar, the sound that came out of her Biwa that night was enchanting. For the first time in her life, her audience was clapping, cheering for her, and asking her for more, and what’s even better, her salary was quite high this time around.

From this moment forth, every time she had a scheduled performance, she’d kill a random human and appear on stage.
Tough luck for her, one of her designated targets was the overpowered Muzan. He did not kill her, he was impressed by her skills and her blood lust. Instead, he made her a proposition, he asked her if she wanted to turn into a demon, and as we all know the answer was yes.
Worthy of her high position, Nakime is extremely powerful. She managed to stop two Hashiras from claiming her head easily while slowing down two others in the Infinite Castle. She was playing with them.
Her Eye Detachment is a creepy spying ability that gives her a tremendous advantage, especially in changing the giant castle. She has extraordinary speed and reflexes. Her Demon Blood Art is Infinite Castle, so, she is the owner of Muzan’s place, that’s nice.
2. Love Hashira: Mitsuri Kanroji

Mitsuri Kanjori is not just one of the most powerful female characters of Demon Slayer, she is in the top ten amongst all the warriors in the anime. She only trained for six months, got the right to participate in the Final Selection, and passed the exam like a breeze. Kyojuro Rengoku himself, though she was extraordinary (Demon Slayer Extra: Kyojuro Rengoku’s Story: Part 1).
She first displayed her magnificent abilities during the Swordsmith Village Arc. She got rid of multiple monsters created by the Upper-Rank Five like they were bugs.

She battled against the former Upper-Rank Fours Clone who had the abilities of 4 Upper Moons combined. She fought till sunrise without wavering once. She also fought against Nakime and managed to land a surprise attack against Muzan.
She is just overpowered. She has Abnormal Muscular Constitution, a Demon Slayer Mark, Enhanced Flexibility, Immense Speed and Reflexes, Colossal Strength, Stamina, and Endurance.
She mastered the Love Breathing Style and the Flame Breathing Style.
· First Form: Shivers of First Love
· Second Form: Love Pangs
· Third Form: Catlove Shower
· Fifth Form: Swaying Love, Wildclaw
· Sixth Form: Cat-Legged Winds of Love
1. Nezuko Kamado

The first position couldn’t go to anyone other than Nezuko Kamado. The beautiful and overpowered demon is a one-of-a-kind Demon Slayer who is managing to drive Muzan crazy and make demon haters love her. A special case among demons, she is in no way connected to the one who turned her just like Tamayo and is not bound by his curse.
The girl never ate a single human, didn’t take a drop of blood and she made number 1. Can you just imagine the power that she could’ve amassed if she did? Because I can’t. The Demon King himself would’ve turned into a puny enemy before her.

Her ability to evolve and develop is also amazing. A Temari that decapitated her leg became a playing ball two seconds later. A demon that was holding her hostage and torturing her was getting blown up by her newfound power cuz he hit her brother. The Upper Moon Six who unleashed her power became her punching bag when she activated the full extent of her Demon Blood Art, Pyrokinesis (Demon Slayer Manga: Chapter 95 Page 14).
All of those feats were achieved when she was still a baby demon who has begun her journey, lets her run wild a few more times, pit her against stronger enemies and she will grow and grow and grow to become an unstoppable fighter. Oh, and what’s even more astonishing is that she fulfilled Muzan’s dream without even trying. The girl is resistant to the sunlight. She is a demon that can walk outside, during the day, no problem. Even her creator can’t do that!
Conclusion

Such an amazing female lead and characters he has here. Courageous, strong, and beautiful in their own special way, they elevate the story with their uniqueness and their charm.
So which one will you take as a wife? Or you’d rather not get destroyed by your beloved in your sleep by mistake?
