Today, we’ll discuss the To Your Eternity Season 2 release date. If you are not familiar with this anime, you must be confused about why the internet is flooded with this topic.
Before we go into the release date of To Your Eternity, let me give you a little overview of the show and explain why everyone is obsessed with it.
Table of Contents
To Your Eternity is a fantastic anime that aired in 2021. It’s supernatural and adventurous themes helped it become highly popular.

This anime only had 20 episodes, yet even with such a limited number of episodes, it drew people from all around the world.
This anime was written by Yoshitoki Ōima and aired from April 12, 2021, to August 30, 2021. If you don’t know who Yoshitoki is, let me tell you: she’s the same person who wrote A Silent Voice and many other fantastic manga and anime films.
Now that I’ve caught your interest with the name A Silent Voice, let’s go into the plot of To Your Eternity Season 1.

RECAP: SEASON 1 PLOT

Don’t be so curious about knowing the season 2 release date. I PROMISE to tell you everything related to season 2, but first, let me explain this anime to those who have not watched it. I also suggest you carefully read this so that you can have a recap of its first season.
The anime tells us the story of an emotionless, immortal, and mysterious creature that was sent to Earth (yes, it is a supernatural/drama genre anime). Let’s name that mysterious creature “It.” If you are wondering what’s the supernatural factor about It then let me tell you.
This creature has the ability to transform into any form, size, or object. It is shown at the beginning of the anime as a sphere that subsequently transforms into a rock.
It was unconscious and unable to feel anything until one day, when an injured wolf went by, waiting for his death. It takes on his shape and becomes alive.

What happens when a strange unconscious supernatural creature that has been resting for years without experiencing anything awakens? Yes, I am aware that the story is gradually becoming more interesting.
After traveling endlessly, It eventually arrives at a location where he meets a lonely boy who was in a severe condition and was waiting for his tribe to return. The mysterious creature now takes on the shape of that boy and goes on another journey.
It has taken on human form, and can now feel everything. What kind of life does he have ahead of him?
If you believe all of this happens after 4 or 5 episodes, you’re mistaken. I’ve just written about the first episode. From this, you can see that this anime is fantastic, with a superb storyline.
RELEASE DATE

Now that I’ve given you a fantastic overview of season 1 of To Your Eternity, let’s get to the main topic you’re here for. After a fantastic plot in season 1, fans from all around the world complained that the anime was too short and demanded a season 2.
Season 1 aired in April 2021, while season 2 was planned to be broadcast at the end of 2021, but it was postponed due to the devastating CoronaVirus.
Since we’re talking about the CoronaVirus, here’s some advice: wear a mask before going out and always sanitize your hands before eating anything.
Returning to the main topic, it has been revealed that season 2 of To Your Eternity will be published in the fall of 2022.

No, I’m not joking. If you don’t believe me, check out NHK’s official Twitter account announcement of the season 2 release date. I can picture a big grin on your face right now.
Since the previous season only had 20 episodes, many otakus are upset and demanding more episodes this season, but we’ll be lucky if we receive even 20 episodes in season 2. So sit tight and pray for this anime to get at least 20 episodes.
You should not be worried if you have yet to watch Season 1. Start watching season 1 before October 2022 so that you may start season 2 immediately after finishing season 1. I wish I hadn’t watched season 1 so that I wouldn’t have to wait so long for season 2 to come out.
PREDICTED CAST

The cast is important in bringing anime to life. Let’s also talk about the voice actors who will be covering the voices of our favorite characters, as well as the characters for the new guys (people who haven’t seen the previous season).
Consider yourself lucky because I’ll also give you a brief overview of all the characters in season one. If you believe I’m doing all I can to get you guys hooked on this anime, you’re correct.
I mentioned in my last blog that you guys are like family to me, and I don’t want my family to miss out on such a fantastic anime. So, let’s get this party started.
Fushi

Reiji Kawashima is a Japanese voice actor who did the voice for our main character. Yes, Reiji is the one who gave Fushi AKA It, the immortal mysterious creature his voice. If you don’t know who Fushi is then let me explain: Fushi is a mysterious creature that can turn into any form.
People from all around the world are happy and compliment him for the way he covered Fushi’s voice. I’ve even become a huge fan of his!
Reiji was born in 1995 (no, I’m not joking) and has won the hearts of people all across the world at such a young age. Even though he has only played three roles in his career, he has earned the admiration of many people.
If you ask me, I believe he is a rising star in the industry who will become a great success one day.
Gugu

Ryouko Shiraishi is a Japanese voice actress and singer (yeah, she is a multi-talented girl). Shiraishi works with Aoni Production and she has a really great voice. She can cover the voices of young boys as well as young girls (amazing, right?).
She was born on September 7, 1982. Shiraishi has worked on many projects and she has amazed us with her voice acting every time. She also covered the voice of everyone’s favorite, Chouchou Akimichi (the cute lovely girl from Boruto).
Shiraishi also had a significant role in To Your Eternity. She covered the voice of a boy named Gugu who simply wished to be born into a wealthy family.
Gugu works in a shop with his older brother Shin, and they both promised each other that they would work so hard that they could buy their own home.
March

March is the character with whom our MC, Fushi, first meets. March was one of the most charming characters in To Your Eternity. I want to squeeze her cheeks because she’s so adorable.
March’s voice was given to her by Rie Hikisaka, and the audience from all over the world loves it.
On September 11, Hikisaka was born in Japan. She is a fantastic voice artist who is currently affiliated to Stay Luck. She has worked on a variety of projects, including Violet Evergarden, but her most well-known character is March.

If you ask me, I’ll say she did great justice to March and I’ve become a fan of her voice.
People from all around the world are amused and praising her for her amazing efforts after hearing her voice acting. They’re saying, “Thank you, Hikisaka, for representing March.” I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants her to do more characters.
Please let me know in the comments if you also want her to cover the voices of any of the amazing characters in the upcoming anime.
Parona

Aya Uchida, who was born on July 23, 1986, is a Japanese singer and voice actress. She is well-known for her voice acting as well as her singing. The way she sings a song makes the listener fall in love with her voice.
If you ask me about her previous work, I won’t be able to answer you because she has played many different characters and performed many different songs.
She even covered one of the most loveable characters in To Your Eternity. She gave Parona her voice and I just loved the way she gave Parona her voice.

Parona is a 15-year-old girl who lost her sister when she was a child while playing hide and seek. Parona is a smart and clever girl with exceptional combat abilities. She is an expert in archery and crafts, as well as a natural fighter.
How did she get such a strong sense of combat and survival? That’s something I won’t say since I’m trying not to ruin the anime for people who haven’t seen it yet.
Pyoran

Rikako Aikawa is a Japanese actress as well as a voice actress. If you don’t know who she is then you’ll know in a bit.
If you’ve ever seen Pokemon, you’ll be familiar with Eevee, a charming pokemon, and Lucario, a badass pokemon. Aikawa is the one who gave those pokemon her voice (amazing, RIGHT?).
When it comes to her voice acting in this anime, she does an excellent job. She played Pyoran’s voice. Pyoran is one of the anime’s most prominent characters. Pyoran was an older lady who assisted Fushi, March, and Parona in escaping from the prison.

She was like a mother to Fushi since she taught him how to write, read, and feel. Pyoran had a kind heart, and she was the one who taught Fushi how to live and behave like a human.
When I first heard her voice in To Your Eternity, I was astonished and stunned by how wonderfully Aikawa portrayed Pyoran’s voice.
Tonari

Before I begin telling you about our fantastic voice actress, let me say this: she deserves more roles. Eri Inagawa is a fantastic voice actress born on October 28, 1993. She is famous and loved by everyone because of the way she portrayed the voice of Cyan Hijirikawa.
She also earned a large number of followers from all around the world after covering Tonari. You don’t know who Tonari is, do you? Don’t worry, I’ll explain everything.
Tonari is a 14-year-old girl with short hair and deep green eyes. Personality-wise, she is a very bright and cunning girl.

She met with Fushi on an island and told him that the prisoners who were guilty deserved to be killed. She has a bad habit of manipulating others which is really a bad thing. Tonari also loved to read and write and that’s the reason for her intelligence.
Some guys hated Tonari for her manipulative personality, but thanks to Inagawa’s voice, many people now also appreciate her as well.
Kansatsusha

Kenjiro Tsuda is a Japanese actor, voice actor, film director, and narrator who was born on June 11, 1971. He’s a talented voice actor with a wonderful voice who works at ANDSTIR.
Tsuda has provided voices for a variety of characters in popular anime series such as Yu-Gi-Oh! and The Prince of Tennis II. Tatsu, Kento Nanami, and the Joker are just a few of his prominent roles.
Kansatsusha was voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda, and everyone loved him. I don’t want to tell you everything, but I have to in order to reveal who Kansatsusha is.

Throughout the anime, everyone was wondering who created Fushi, also known as It, the unknown creature.
Kansatsusha is a mysterious creature who created Fushi to acquire information about the Earth. He is powerful enough to control Fushi, but not his mind.
Only Fushi can see him with his eyes, yet Kansatsusha possesses such strange abilities that he can show himself to anybody he chooses. Kansatsusha appears to be a badass character, and Tsuda, in my opinion, was the ideal man to cover his voice.
Rynn

If you have watched Fruit Basket and Tada Never Falls In Love then you’ll be familiar with Tooru and Teresa. Manaki Iwami is the one who covered the voices of both of them.
There’s no need to be surprised because that’s not all. She has also worked on a lot of projects, all of which she has totally nailed.
Manaka Iwama was born on April 30, 1998, and she has won the award at 13th Seiyu Awards at such a young age. Her work in To Your Eternity is also quite impressive. She gave Rynn Cropp her voice.

When Rean first appeared in To Your Eternity she was a young girl and around 12 years of age. Her hair is long and blond, and her eyes are violet. She is generally seen wearing a green dress with a white and gray striped pattern, and she is frequently followed by her dog, Meer.
Rynn is an outgoing girl who prefers to live her life freely. She was born into a rich family and was pampered way too much by her parents. She hated them because they showed affection to her and she got annoyed.
She was always surrounded by bodyguards and servants who would make sure to brush her teeth four times a day (no wonder why she wanted to run away and live freely). Gugu and she became really close after he saved her life.
Hayase

Mitsuki Saiga is a Japanese voice actress who has been working in the anime industry since 1993. She has worked in countless anime and has done amazing roles. She has worked in Detective Conan as well as Ninja Rantarou.
She was born on June 12, 1973, and made her first debut at the age of 20 years old. Some of her major roles include Tsukasa from .hack//Sign, Jing from Ou Dorobou Jing and the list is never-ending.
Her work in To Your Eternity has also gained her a huge fan following. She covered the voice of Hayase in this anime.
Hayase was a government officer who was 18 years old. She was regarded as one of the most respected commanders despite her early age. She had short black hair and dark eyes. She had a stoic and cunning personality, as well as excellent leadership abilities.

She adjusted quickly to challenging situations and had no problem giving commands under stress.
She was also skilled at manipulating others when it suited her or her aims, such as convincing a fourteen–year–old Tonari to guide Fushi to Jananda so she could have him all to herself.
Hayase was so obsessed with Fushi that she has attempted and sometimes succeeded in murdering those close to him. Fushi hates Hayase as a result and threatens to murder her when they meet again in Jananda.
When she confesses her love for Fushi, he tells her that he doesn’t care if she dies and abandons her on a boat in the middle of the sea (Our MC is a ruthless guy).
Joan (Honorable Mention)

How could we forget about this character? Joan was the main character, and it was only because of him that the series lasted 20 episodes. You’re probably thinking Joan is a badass character who is causing all of the action, however, he’s just a nice white and fluffy bear.
Joan was a trained animal who was used to living among people, and It, the immortal creature, adopted his shape and achieved consciousness only because of Joan.
I was shocked when I first saw Joan because he was so adorable. I’m still eagerly waiting to cuddle and pet him since he looks so soft and fluffy.
PREDICTED STAFF

As already said, we could even expect an anime without their staff. The importance of the staff cannot be ignored. These guys work so hard so that we can enjoy the show. It’s kinda sad to see them not getting all the appreciation so today, we’ll also talk about them.
Masahiko Murata (Director)

Let me tell you something before I start talking about this guy. This guy is a legend, and you’ll agree after seeing how many anime and anime movies he’s directed. Masahiko Murata is a well-known filmmaker and animator who was born on August 8th.
Masahiko has a large number of works and his work speaks for itself. He has worked as a storyboard, episode director, and key animator in Naruto. Yes, the same Uzumaki Naruto, everyone’s favorite hyperactive ninja. He was also the animation director of Naruto: Shippuuden.

He has also directed lots of Naruto movies and amazing anime like Baby Steps and Corpse Princess: Kuro. You are probably wondering why we are talking about him.
Well, he is also the director of To Your Eternity. You must be astonished by him because I, myself, am amazed at how talented he is.
Ever since the publication of To Your Eternity, he has gained a huge fan base. As I previously stated, his work speaks for itself, so if you have any doubts, simply watch the first episode of To Your Eternity and your worries will be gone.
Hikaru Utada (Singer)

Hikaru Utada was born on January 19, 1983, and she’s a Japanese–American singer and songwriter. Hikaru Utada is also known as Utada. His voice has the power to lift your spirits. She knows how to play multiple instruments, including guitar, piano, and synthesizer.
Playing an instrument is good for your mind since it calms your body. If you don’t know how to play an instrument, you should learn since it will enhance your confidence and expel all the negative energy from your body.

The opening and ending tracks of anime make the show really interesting. Hikaru has an electric voice, and she is good at her job. In addition to performing theme songs, Hikaru has also written many songs. Her contributions are the same as the creators’ in To Your Eternity.
To Your Eternity’s opening was composed, written, and performed by her (I am amazed by her abilities). Even while I am writing this blog I am listening to her songs because her voice boosts my mind.
If you don’t believe me, listen to Pink Blood by Hikaru Utada and you’ll understand why I’m praising her.
Takeshi Takadera (Sound Director)

Takesi Takedara was born on 23 July 1970. He is a maestro of sound. He is literally one of the best sound directors.
Throughout his career, he has worked in numerous anime and has always amazed everyone with his work. He worked as a sound director in Rosario to Vampire, and as a sound manager in FLCL.
The brilliance of his work can be clearly seen in To Your Eternity, where he worked as a sound director. He is 51 years old, and everyone wants to see more of his work. It’s his work that gives life to an anime, and he’s the best at it.
Masashi Hamauzu (Music Composer)

Masashi Hamauzu worked as a music composer for To Your Eternity and also played the anime’s ending theme. Masashi, who was born on September 20, 1971, is a multi-talented person. He is a lyricist, songwriter, and pianist.
He worked with Square Enix for about 15 years and came to fame as a result of his outstanding work on the Final Fantasy video game.

He was born in Germany and belongs to a musical family. He not only composes music for anime, but also for video games. His parents introduced him to music, and he has been studying it since kindergarten.
His mother was a piano teacher, while his father was an opera singer. Masashi is a perfect blend of his parents.
I strongly recommend you listen to Mediator, the closing theme of To Your Eternity. After hearing his performance, you’ll also become his fan.
PRODUCTION

To Your Eternity is a manga adaptation and you’ll be surprised after knowing the author of To Your Eternity’s manga.
Yoshitoki Oima, the creator of A Silent Voice, wrote the manga named To You Eternity. It is expected that Brain’s Base is going to be the producer of To Your Eternity season 2. He’s the same guy who produced My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU (I CAN’T WAIT).
It is quite possible that Masahiko Murata, the legend who directed Naruto is going to be the director of season 2 of To Your Eternity along with Kouji Yabuno assisting with character design.
Season 2 will include plenty of new characters, and I believe it will be a blockbuster.
PREDICTED PLOT

When the production of season 2 begins immediately after the completion of season 1, you may expect an anime to be a huge hit.
Everyone predicts that season 2 will be published in the fall of 2022, however, The Anime Daily predicts that it will be released in October of 2022. I’m not sure how I’m going to get through the next eight months.
Now let’s talk about the predicted plot of To Your Eternity season 2. As we all know season 1 had a really sad ending. If you haven’t seen season one of To Your Eternity yet, I recommend you don’t read any further since you’ll be terribly spoiled if you do.
Season 2 will center on Fushi, our MC who gained consciousness and went through a lot of pain after such a tragic ending in season 1.
From feeling nothing to seeing his loved one’s death in front of him. Fushi felt a lot, and I was in tears when I watched the final episode of Season 1.

Season 2 will also continue Fushi’s story and his new experiences as he explores new adventures and feelings. It was revealed at the end that Fushi started living alone after the death of Pioran.
Unlike earlier episodes, Episode 20 did not have a lengthy combat sequence. The Nokkers pursued Fushi and Pioran multiple times, but they always fled rather than fight.
In the finale of season 1, we saw Fushi violently thrown into the sea but instead of getting hurt or scared, he was laughing. The extent of the attack implies that the Nokkers have returned. But why is Fushi laughing? Was he waiting for them to come back and attack him?
My guess is that he spent all those decades practicing alone, knowing that his enemies will come again. The focus of season 2 will be on a grown-up Fushi, as well as some new badass characters.

The plot will be helpful in introducing the viewers to the old Fushi. Fushi will suddenly be introduced to a completely different, highly contemporary environment after spending decades alone. But how will he adjust to this new environment?
I am sure that the upcoming season of To Your Eternity will bring back some old memories as well as new characters and exciting action. I don’t want season 2 to be as sad as season 1 since I used up all of the tissue paper in my house after watching the season 1’s finale.
I know some of you are excitedly waiting for the release of Season 2. Well, I’m one of you, and if you really can’t wait and are genuinely curious about what’s going to happen in season 2, I suggest you read the manga of To Your Eternity.
However, that only applies to those who have already seen season 1. What are your thoughts on the second season? Are you looking forward to it? Please let me know in the comments.
