Well, this is the most crucial question. When is Shikimori’s Not Just A Cutie releasing? Everyone wants to know about it. So should I tell you? Ok, ok, I’m gonna tell you I don’t like so much suspense either.
So, Shikimori’s Not Just A Cutie by Keugo Maki will start airing on 9 APRIL 2022. Dude, it’s like so close from today. It is so soon, and I still can’t wait. It’s confirmed it’s not gonna delay or anything. It’s CONFIRMED.
Shikimori’s Not Just A Cutie will be animated by Doga Kobo. It is one of the most popular animation studios. Man, it’s just about to start airing, but my heart is yet not ready for Shikimori Sama. I mean, I’m sure she’ll kill all of us with her beauty.

Saori Onishi is so beautiful, I’m not gonna lie. She is also well known because of her Seiyuu Career.
Saori Onishi has given voice to characters like La Folia Rihavein (Strike The Blood), my personal favorite, Eriri Spencer Sawamura (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend) cutest one, Ais Wallenstein (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon) most popular right now.
Ahh, she will be the voice actor of our very own Shikimori Sama. A goddess is going to give her voice to another goddess. Just Heaven for me.
Shuichiro Umeda
So, Shuichiro Umeda, you might not have heard of him. That’s because he is not so popular; he has not really given voice to popular characters.
Still, I’m pretty sure he’ll be a well-fitted voice actor for our Main Character, Yuu Izumi. Who knows, he might become so popular just from Yuu Izumi.
Nobuhiko Okamoto
Dude, you know him, and you love him. This guy Nobuhiko Okamoto has voiced some of the most popular characters, and he is globally loved because of those characters he gave voice to.
Some of his famous roles are Yu Nishinoya (Haikyuu), Katsuki Bakugo (My Hero Academia), Karma Akabane (Assassination Classroom), Khun Aguero Agnes (Tower of God). There are more, and you are familiar with most of them.
He is professional, and he is best at what he does. So we are going to see him as Shu Inuzaka. It’s going to be fun.
Misato Matsuoka
Misato Matsuoka is not so popular. She has given chiefly voice to side characters who appeared only once or twice. SO, yeah, not many people know her.
Still, her voice can be seen in Don’t Toy with me Miss Nagatoro, Blue Period, and she has played the role of Tsubame Mizusaki (Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!). We’ll see her as Kyo Nekozaki. We might like her, right?
Rina Hidaka
So, Rina Hidaka is famous because she has given voice to some of the best-supporting characters. Her career as a Seiyuu is quite good.
Some of her famous roles are Milim Nava (That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime), most popular, and my favorite ones, Keiko Ayano (Sword Art Online), Enju Aihara (Black Bullet). We’ll see him as Kobachi Osaragi in the new season (Kaguya Sama: Love is War).
Dude, she is going to steal everyone’s heart. Just can’t wait for her to appear in the anime as Rina Hidaka.
Predicted Plot
We have a release date voice actor; all that’s left is the plot. Don’t you worry, I’m here; I’m always here for you. I’ll tell you about the plot, in brief, so you don’t have to go anywhere in search of it. But you know I won’t do it for free, you have to praise me for it, or we are done.
So, our story starts with Yuu Izumi. Yuu is the king of bad luck. He has always been an unlucky guy ever since he was young. He gets injured a lot. We can say he is clumsy, but I don’t think anyone could be this inept as he is.
As he grew up and started going to High School, he met Micchon Shikimori, a goddess. She is beautiful as nature, looks as calm as a river flowing. She is the definition of Beauty. Izumi is our MC, so we know they eventually started dating each other.
But we know nature can be deadly sometimes; rivers can bring destruction if they overflow, right? Shikimori is madly in love with our Izumi. She’ll do everything to make sure Izumi remains safe. Even if it means being cold or rude sometimes.
Shikimori is like Zero Two, loving and caring but deadly and cold sometimes. Ever since Shikimori came into Izumi’s life, he has been having a good time. It’s like his bad luck is changed into good luck. If I had a girlfriend like Shikimori, I don’t know what bad luck would even mean.
Dude, this anime is going to steal everyone’s heart. A well-balanced mixture of Romance and Comedy will be the best way to cheer yourself up when it starts airing, so wait till 9 APRIL. Still, you’ll remain single; you are not Izumi after all. It is what it is.

So, AnimeTV チェーン and @shikimori_off (Official Page) has actually confirmed the date, which we can see on their official Twitter pages. Well in some regions it’ll start airing on 9 APRIL while in some on 10 APRIL. Trailers are all over, and people are actually going crazy after seeing the trailer. It’s a slice of life, so people are quite looking forward to seeing it.
It’s a slice of life, and it will be animated by Doga Kobo, which is also popular because of its slice of life anime production. Most of the anime that Doga Kobo animated is a slice of life, and dude, you know, most are famous.
My Senpai is Annoying, Umaru-Chan, How Heavy are Those Dumbbells, and Plastic Memories. This anime actually made me cry; Sleeping Princess in Demon Castle, there are more, and they all are well animated. Doga Kobo’s animation quality is admirable.
