Odokawa is known for his anti-social behavior. He does, however, make an effort to engage in a conversation with his passengers. His daily routine is monotonous as he strives to avoid becoming too similar to others. Odokawa becomes entangled in the disappearance of a high school girl from Nerima Ward.
The investigation into her disappearance continues. Doubts have begun to rise, and Odokawa finds himself entangled in a maze of questions of every description. It has been reported that people have heard voices coming from his home, where he lives alone. Furthermore, the Yakuza is now involved as well. Things are falling apart, and chaos is beginning to envelop the world.
Odokawa holds his own in the face of a tidal wave of suspects and henchmen, whether they be gangsters, pop-idol superfans, faded comedians, or dubious label executives. His personal life is also starting to bloom, thanks to his blossoming romance with the nurse at his doctor’s clinic, Miho Shirakawa.
Over time, after a series of events and the execution of a specific plan, Odokawa’s fortunes begin to change. Eventually, our protagonist is able to make more sense of things after he connects the dots by questioning everyone involved. Odokawa is presented with a fresh perspective on the case.
