The release date for Yuji Kaku’s Hell’s Paradise anime adaptation has been planned for 2022. Fans can scarcely wait for the adaptation of the original manga, which has sold over 3.6 million copies.

The manga seemed to have gained a lot of popularity over the years and has grown a lot of fans; now, they can’t wait to get a TV adaptation.

We first heard there was going to be a series released in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine that’s the eighth issue of the magazine in January 2021. The result of that popularity resulted in the high anticipation for the Hell’s Paradise anime release date.

The teaser trailer that was revealed on the Jump Festa ’22 event platform shows that the anime would be produced by MAPPA studio, hence it would feature the studio’s signature visuals and soundtrack which piqued the interest of the anime community in its upcoming release even more.

Other than the anime adaptation being announced, the franchise also declared that there would also be a stage play in the fall of this year 2022…

For obvious reasons, I believe everyone is just hyped to the core!

RELEASE DATE

Well, we are being kept on the edge of our seats, but the suspense is killing us right, guys? We are being tortured with teasers released by Twin Engine and MAPPA, we just want to know when the anime will be released.

But the release date for Hell’s Paradise is yet to be known, it has not been announced yet—there is no confirmation on when it will be released. However, there’s nothing to worry about.

Why you might ask? That is because despite having no exact date of its release, we are given assurance that it will happen anytime around this year, 2022. Even though the year just started we should be expecting the anime to drop pretty soon, fingers crossed.

I can’t wait for this horror-action packed anime to be released. I actually want to see what MAPPA does, how would their animation show as that perfect storyline? I know you can’t wait to find out, all we have to do is wait for now. Don’t worry, once we find out the official release date for the anime we will let you guys know for sure, so stay tuned!

The animation studio is presently working on other anime such as Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Attack on Titan Final Season.

And luckily, Attack on Titan has been released already all that is left is Chainsaw man to drop, but we believe that due to the workload, the anime may be pushed further to early 2023 before it is released, but let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope it drops sooner.

All we have to do is be patient, because I believe we all don’t want MAPPA studio to rush the animation and end up producing a lesser quality anime than they used to, so let’s just watch and see what happens. Would it be released this year or 2023?

CHARACTERS

So for those of you who haven’t read the manga and are just waiting for the anime to drop, let me give you a little insight on some of the characters you would see in this anime.

Gabimaru

He is the main character of this story, you will find out more about him in the predicted plot but here is a short summary.

Gabimaru is a former Iwagakure shinobi assassin. And later, he is one of the few criminals dispatched to Kotaku to locate the shogun’s Elixir of Life. Yamada Asaemon Sagiri is his appointed Asaemon.

Yamada Asaemon Sagiri

She is the Yamada Clan’s Asaemon of the 12th rank. She was assigned to be Gabimaru’s executioner after she dispatched prisoners which included Gabimaru to Kotaku in search of the Elixir of Life.

Well those two are the main characters in the anime, but let’s talk about some of the supporting characters.

Yuzuriha

She’s a kunoichi, one of the few criminals selected to bring the Elixir of Life, the shogun, from the perilous island of Kotaku.

She is someone who we don’t know where she originates from, she was sentenced to death for attacking a castle and slaying the daimyo. Gabimaru and Sagiri’s first allies on the island are her.

Aza Chōbē

After leaving bloodbaths in his wake throughout his rampage through the Shogunate, a legendary, scar-filled robber is about to be executed but ends up getting sent to the island too.

Yamada Asaemon Fuchi

He is the Yamada Asaemon clan’s 9th rank, noted for his extensive medical knowledge. Tamiya Gantetsusai’s executioner is assigned to him.

Nurugai

She is a member of the Sanka tribe, who live in the mountains. Her tribe is labeled “heretics” for refusing to obey the Shogun’s regulations, therefore she is treated as a villain and sentenced to death despite never having committed any crimes.

Well those are some of the characters you will end up seeing in this anime, can’t wait to see them in motion especially in action.

PREDICTED PLOT

Hell’s Paradise follows the story of an ex-assassin named Gabimaru a.k.a. the Hollow. He has committed tremendous acts of crimes and this has led him to his death sentence. Right now, his life is in the hands of a ruthless executioner.

We see Gabimaru at first accept the fact that he was going to die and prepare himself for the afterlife. BUT all of that changes after he meets Yamada Asaemon Sagiri.

She gives our protagonist a task to find the elixir of life in exchange for his freedom, however it is located on a dangerous island. This island is not just dangerous, it is a place where you can say heaven and hell meet.

In a way, Gabimaru’s life is saved because of the new adventure he is going to go on but the place where he would go on an adventure to is so dangerous that he might still lose his life, don’t you think? I believe either way he is still closer to death, but let’s see how it goes as the journey to save his life will unfold in Hell’s Paradise.

Now you know why all the fans of this anime are eager to find out about the release date. This anime has an intense plot that is aimed for mature audiences.

Just a trailer of 80 seconds was what it took for the Hell’s Paradise’s trailer to be as popular as all other upcoming anime in 2022 in Jump Festa.
