Yes, I am very much excited about it! Are you guys? Dr. Stone is surely a big hit as anime fans like me and you love its storyline and production. So, today I am going to share with you some updates regarding Dr. Stone Season 3. Let’s start!
WHEN WILL WE SEE THIRD SEASON OF DR STONE??!!
RELEASE DATE

While we are going to discuss the details we have so far regarding Dr. Stone Season 3, It will be best to first discuss when season 3 is coming out.
As we all know, the first two seasons of the Dr. Stone series became really popular. The anime series started airing on screen in 2019. The successful run of season 1 encouraged the production team to make season 2. After the final episode of season 2 which came out in 2020, it was also officially confirmed that season 3 has been in production.
This news for the fans served as a blessing and they became more curious than ever! And finally after a long wait, it was confirmed that we will get the most awaited Season 3 of Dr. Stone this April 2023 and it will have 12 episodes (quite a short one compared to the long wait! Yes I am frustrated!)
Anyways, enough of my rants. Remember when they said it at the Jump Festa last year? That we will see Season 3 this year, at least indeed they stayed true to their promise. Though of course, it was quite a wait. But hey! It is better to be late than never!! Right ?

Another good thing is that they released an OVA last July 2022 by the title of Dr. Stone- Ryusui. You want to know more about this special episode? Fine, just a bit okay? I don’t like to spoil too much!
Remember when Tsukasa’s empire fell and everyone was on peaceful terms? Now, Senku’s Science Empire then wanted to embark on a new adventure to a different land! So they revived Ryusui Nanami, a well known heir and a very good sailor.
What happened ? I won’t tell! It is for me to know and for you to find out! And mind you guys, that special episode is CANON! So, you gotta watch that! Arrrghhhhh!!! And if you want to stream this online, check Crunchyroll and roll it! If you’ve missed some episodes, be sure to check out our Dr. Stone filler list guide!
Now let’s check on the cast of the upcoming season !

However, Gen Satou hasn’t voiced many anime characters as compared to the other cast but he has a great talent as he has also voiced various characters in many famous anime. Gen is famously known for his role as Chrome as he has done a great job, guys. He is currently working with a company named I’m Enterprise. Gen has had a natural interest in voice-overs since he was a child thus enabling him to be a good voice actor.
Manami Numakura

Manami, who voiced the Kohaku in the first two seasons, will return to delight the fans with her voice. If we discuss her career then she had been working as a voice artist in many animes with different characters. For example, she voiced Pieck Finger in AOT. Moreover, her success as a voice-over artist reflects in her career of 14 years. With her great experience, she has also done a good job with other cast members in Dr. Stone’s first two seasons and will now return in season 3. Like Gen, Manami has also had an interest in the voice acting industry since she was a child.
