Blue Lock Release Date 2022 (CONFIRMED)

If you’re reading this article right now, you’ve probably seen the trailer for the Blue Lock anime. I’m sure we’re all eager to find out when it’ll be released.

Today, we are here to talk about the Blue Lock Release Date. This is one manga that I have been hoping gets animated and it is finally happening!!

I believe that most people should have heard about this anime and if you haven’t, what are you doing? Well, let me tell you just one thing, just from watching the trailer of this anime I am pretty sure this series is going to be worth waiting for.

This is another sports anime and for those of you out there that are into football, this anime is just the one for you. We’ve watched basketball anime such as Kuroko No Basket, we’ve watched volleyball anime such as Haikyuu!!, I guess it’s finally time for a new football anime to drop right?

This series will definitely blow your socks off, the manga already has a large fanbase, it may become the next big shounen sports anime out there. To be honest, I have been waiting for something like this to drop for a while and I am happy this manga is getting an anime adaptation in 2022!!! Finally!!

Today I’ll give extra details about the anime like when it is going to get released and some insights on the predicted casts. But before we dive into that let me give you a brief insight on what the anime is about.

PLOT

Here is the synopsis, so after Japan soccer team gets eliminated from the 2018 world cup, the Japanese Football Association decides to get an eccentric and enigmatic coach to help train the team, so as to attain their goal of finally winning the world cup.

The coach ends up initiating what they call the Blue Lock, this is more or less like a prison. In this prison there are about three hundred strikers from different high schools all over Japan. They are put against each other.

The sole survivor of this rigorous training would get to play as the national team’s striker while those who lose will never be able to join the team, ever.

Yoichi Isagi, a striker who failed to qualify his high school soccer team for the national championship, has been chosen to participate in this risky initiative. He couldn’t help but ponder whether the results would have been different if he had been more selfish and passed to a teammate who missed instead of scoring on his own.

Yoichi hopes to dispel his uncertainties and pursue his ultimate goal of becoming the best striker in the world and leading Japan to World Cup victory by taking advantage of the Blue Lock Project’s golden opportunity.

Sounds intense right? We would have to wait and see the anime adaptation in action, I just can’t wait! I would probably be glued to my screen once it drops. But when would this anime drop?

RELEASE DATE

Now here is the thing, we are not completely sure about the release date that’s because no exact date has been given to the public yet, but what we know for sure is that the anime Blue Lock anime series will premiere in 2022.

The anime is going to be animated by the Eight Bit studio, this studio is known for the creation of one of my favorite anime called That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and the anime will be directed by Tetsuaki Watanbe. The music or songs for the anime will be created by Jun Murayama, while we have Taku Kishimoto who would be handling the series script and composition.

Well that’s the update we have for the release date for the anime, hopefully we will be able to get more information for Blue Lock anime soon.

PREDICTED CAST

Okay, I know it might be a little disappointing that we were unable to get the exact date for the anime but let’s talk about some of the cast that would be voicing the main anime character in Blue Lock.

Bachira Meguru (Kaito Tasuku)

Bachira is a flamboyant forward who plays according to his intuition, and he was a part of Team Z during the initial selection when he first arrived at Blue Lock.

His primary objective was to find soccer competitors with whom he could play against and who also had a “monster” inside of them, which he subsequently transformed into but changed to become the best striker in the world after overcoming his traumatic childhood. I can’t give any major spoilers guys but just know that this player is a beast in the field, like I said, he is an amazing striker. So watch out for him in the series when it comes out.

Okay, since I have given you little details about Bachira, let’s talk about who is going to be the voice behind the character; his name is Kaito Tasuku he is obviously a voice actor but not that popular, however, he’s been known for voicing Chargebolt / Denki Kaminari, Reki Kyan, and Yuma Tsukumo.

Isagi Yoichi (Ura Kazuki)

Yoichi Isagi is a playmaker, through his vision, technique, ball control, creativity, and passing skill, he is a football player who can basically control the offensive play team and is frequently participating in passing sequences that lead to goals.

Isagi is able to draw the best out of his teammates by driving them to execute plays so he may attack or by driving them to surpass Isagi’s increasing talent due to his relationships and playing time with most of the major Blue Lock players.

A majority of Blue Lock recognizes and respects his playmaking abilities, and even Jinpachi Ego publicly praises him.

Now the voice behind this character is no one other than Kazuki URA is well known for his playing the role as Shota DOI in World’s End Harem, and Tatsuya MORIGUCHI in Full Dive: Awakening and his role in this Ultimate Next-Gen Full-Dive RPG Is Worse Than Reality! Dimension High School’s Tsuchiya.

Can’t wait to see how this actor sounds on screen in this anime.

Kunigami Rensuke (Ono Yuuki)

He was rated number fifty out of the initial forwards of about 300 candidates that were selected for the Blue Lock Project though he was often removed from by Ryusei Shidou from Blue Lock during the final games of Second Selection.

During the First Selection, while on Team Z, Kunigami got tied with someone else as the top scorer of the team, and that was because the other teammate cheated which made them get their goals to tie with him. He is someone you should watch out for, because if left alone, he will score no matter what.

Now the voice actor behind this character is Ono Yuuki, he is a voice actor and musician from Japan who works as someone who makes dubs for anime and video games. He used to be represented by Atomic Monkey, but now works as a freelancer.

He has voiced various characters such as Taiga Kagami from Kuroko’s Basketball, Josuke Higashikata from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Kaname Tsukahara from Kimi to Boku, Zenkichi Hitoyoshi from Medaka Box, Masayuki Hori from Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, and Jun Isashiki from Ace of Diamond.

Can’t wait to hear his voice in this anime once it comes out.

Are You Excited For Blue Lock?

So, now that we’ve reached the end of the article, I’m sure there are some unanswered issues, such as whether or not there is any other genre in this anime other than sports and action. Could there be romance in this anime? Well, I’m not completely sure, who knows…guess we’d have to find out, right?

Guys, we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: this is an action-sport anime, so anticipate it with joy for all lovers of soccer and be prepared to have your eyes glued to your screen upon release.

This anime involves some action and an amazing storyline, just in case you don’t trust me. I guess you’d just have to watch and see.
