I know that everyone else already said it but TCF came out before TW, it literally cannot be a copycat. I’d also say to anyone reading this that most fans compare the MC of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint to the MC of Trash of the Count’s Family and The S-Classes that I raised. If you’re looking for something that has a “weak” scheming MC I’d personally recommend those.

Rating art like a 6/10 is very rude… it’s not even a 6/10 all of the art mentioned is good. Just because you read one good novel/webtoon does not mean you get to insult others… did you even read them?
Regarding the “calling TCF a copycat” thing, please look at the date they were published. TCF was published two years earlier.
At this point, dense, self-sacrificing and intelligent MCs are a well-known type so I guess every other book with an MC like that is a copycat now.

Quick correction, but have you actually read Trash of the Count’s Family, dear operator? -w-
1.) It was made before Trapped in a Webnovel. I’m talking about the story itself as in the novel, not the manhwa.
2.) It does not have Dungeons, Skills and Constellations. It is, after all, a fantasy world genre where there are half beast races, elves, mages, kingdoms and gods, as well as parallel universes, and world trees and the likes.
3.) The MC has a different personality from Trapped in a Webnovel. The MC of TW is someone who enjoys attention and does flashy things, meanwhile the MC of TCF prefers not being in the spotlight
4.) The og!MC of TW is the type who does not want to be under anyone and always prefers being on top, meanwhile the og!MC of TCF is the type who is absolutely absolutely fine with being under Cale’s or Alberu’s orders.
5.) The MC of TW has to go through sibling rivalry for the successor position, meanwhile the MC of TCF doesnt even want the successor position and neither does his siblings (LMAO) and his siblings looks up to him
6.) The MC of TW puts an effort into becoming stronger through training and the likes meanwhile the MC of TCF does not put effort at all since Ancient Powers cant be levelled up just by using them a lot, and he instead surrounds himself with lots of strong people as insurance
7.) The MC of TW is not a little shit who gets in trouble here and there and drops surprise bombs on his friends 🙂 The MC of TCF is the little shit who explodes islands or flips over an empire or attacks the underworld or makes dragons his subordinates enough that his hyung, the crown prince, gets a headache

The story of TCF is actually more than what meets the eye, as the Earth that the MC came from is not the earth that we all know, and its a place that has more importance to the plot than it seems. Meanwhile in TW, the place in which the MC came from is really ordinary Earth and he was just displaced in the dungeon and Hunters Earth for reasons that didnt really spark that much importance, it was just for the plot.

The MC of TCF’s goal is a rich slacker life where he has to do nothing but roll on his bed (which comedically enough, is not happening anytime soon HAHAHAHA its like every action he does makes the slacker life fly further away from reach), meanwhile the MC of TW just wants a peaceful life where he is not in danger of dying anymore (he still intends to work and is actually aiming to become the successor, remember?)
10.) The MC of TCF has adopted 2 kittens, 1 dragon, 11 or maybe 12 wolf kids, and an unidentified number of TIGERS. Also saved some whales, and has like… More than 5 dragons on his side. Theres also the half rat half dwarf and maybe Pendrick the elf will count. He has an entire zoo. What has the MC of TW adopted? FULLY GROWN ADULTS. Thats it.
11.) The MC of TCF is so physically fragile that the veteran readers of this story have reached the point of becoming unfazed or unsurprised by coughing up blood uncontrollably and fainting because its already an inside joke and a part of the plot to always have it and have reached the point where they are eagerly awaiting the day he gets his heart stabbed. Im betting you that TW cant make their readers as sadistic as TCF’s lot. TW’s MC is relatively smarter when it comes to handling his body compared to TCF’s little shit– i mean, MC.
12.) The misunderstanding trope that TW sometimes uses is nothing compared to the misunderstanding trope that haunts TCF like the plague. Comedic misunderstandings of the MCs character are EVERYWHERE even in the MC’s own home. And the fact that the MC misunderstands as well is just… PUHAHAHAHAHAHA
In conclusion, please don’t call TCF a copycat 🙂 Please don’t ever say that TCF has the exact same plot as TW. Because you are making a fool of yourself and of the others who take your recommendations.

I appreciate your points, and I know you really have a lot of Passion. You do make a point, especially since you pointed out even the littlest things. But they do have some similarities especially in the flow and structure of the plot, right? The MCs also somewhat in similar situations?
As someone who reads a pot of transmigration manwha and has read Lout of the counts family, it just sounds dumb to say it’s a copy.
