It was the time when men were supposed to go out in order to earn and women were supposed to stay at home and do household work. We’re introduced to a girl, Arte, who belonged to a noble family. Arte had a deep affinity towards Art. Arte’s father was very supportive of her passion but he died.

Arte’s mother disregarded her interests and was adamant about making Arte a proper lady. Arte ran away from her home and was looking for any artisan who could help her with art. Nobody agreed upon taking her in except one. Leo, an owner of a small workshop, took her in. Arte is delighted and is one step closer to achieving her dream.

Barakamon was truly a classic. Everything from its art to its story was stunning. The story of this manga revolves around Seishuu Handa who was extremely talented with Calligraphy. However, he almost ended his career when he punched a critique.

Leading him to live on an island for a while. Seishuu is not used to the rural environment and is having trouble adjusting to this new place. He can’t really focus on his art and calligraphy because of the nosy neighbors. However, his life soon changes when he comes across tiny and energetic Naru.

Blue Period Manga has some really good reviews and it does deserve all the praise it’s getting. Blue Period introduces us to Yatora Yaguchi who is tired of his monotonous life. He then indulges himself in drawing and is shocked to know how much fun it is.

He starts conveying his feelings through art and not words. He then decides to take up art as his career and starts working hard for it. However, his journey is not as easy as it seems. He will face a lot of difficulties in his way to become a well-known and talented artist. Will he be able to overcome those obstacles or just give up?

Akito Takagi is an aspiring writer who happens to come across one of Mashiro’s drawings and suggests that they should create a manga together.

Now, Mashiro is reluctant since his uncle was a mangaka and he died because of overworking. When Mashiro gets to know that his crush wants to become a voice actress, he agrees on creating a manga because he wants his manga to get adapted into an anime. And that’s how he paved his way for becoming a manga artist.
