Alchemists are intelligent persons who are gifted with abilities since birth. Alchemists use their skills to control, create and change things. Even though alchemists possess much potential, their abilities are actually overrated and are not as powerful as people think because of restrictions. Human transformation or the ability to bring a person back from the dead is completely prohibited, and anybody who tries to do such a thing is bound to suffer serious punishments. Despite this, the Elric brothers Alphonse and Edward choose to break the ancient tradition and resurrect their dead mother. Sadly, aside from failing to bring their mother back from the dead, they also suffer a severe penalty for what they have done: Edward lost one of his legs, specifically the left one, while Alphonse lost his body entirely. What’s worse is that in an attempt to wrap Alphonse’s soul inside an armored suit, Edward’s right arm was also sacrificed.

Several years passed Edward and Alphonse journey throughout the nation in search of a specific thing known as the Philosopher’s Stone, with a positive mindset and high hopes to reclaim their physical forms with the help of its magic. Their hunt for the mythical stone, unfortunately, brought them to uncover far deeper mysteries that they did not expect nor see.

Kindaichi Case Files are detective stories involving horrible killings, typically with a mysterious twist. It commonly includes closed room investigations or other murders.  A perfect example from the manga is a killing that occurs while all remaining individuals have perfect reasons to avoid being suspected. Its plot is closely related to that of Detective Conan.

This specific Japanese manga is remarkable for not portraying the criminals as psychotic killers, and the crimes are never done just for personal profit. The confirmed culprits are all featured with dark issues, typically involving huge psychological anxiety and problems created by the cruelty of other people towards them. They make these mistakes of people as their motivation for doing the crime. As a result, the criminals are frequently shown as compassionate people, far from the real image of being ruthless, cold criminals like in some related shows. Furthermore, after being caught, the killer frequently commits suicide

Atom is a robot invention of the scientists in the Ministry with a living heart. And while we are still in this discussion, Atom is the first robot that houses a heart in its system, and he is considered as a major breakthrough by the Ministry of Science.

The robot is a product of the excellent work of Professor Umatarou Tenma, who is known for being extra imaginative and creative. Professor Tenma created the robot in memory of Tobio, his late son. Before mysteriously disappearing, Professor Tenma decided to turn  Atom off. This is where Professor Ochanomizu enters the scene because he objects to the idea of totally shutting down such an important scientific accomplishment and letting it go to waste.

Although the robot appears to have the physical characteristics of a 9 year-old child, Atom displays not just amazing power and intellect, but also a wonderful sense and kindness that matches humans. In short, he also possesses emotions.  Unfortunately, the robot is quickly rejected by some other scientist and discovers Professor Ochanomizu is the nicest one in the Ministry of Science that can appreciate Atom

One reason for the scientists’ rejection of the masterpiece is that even though Atom and his kind are already applied into the modern world, robots are only recognized as objects whether they be weapons or tools and are even viewed as a potential danger to humanity.

Atom spends most of his time preserving both humans and machines and inspires them to develop meaningful friendships so that both may live together.

This manga revolves around the story of Tokyo Cops. Our main character Kankichi Ryotsu, commonly known as Ryosan, develops a plan to gain money and lure money-making syndicates. He does it by creating a new device or profiting on a trend. Kanchiki achieves excellent results and if everything goes wrong, he just seeks the help and assistance of Keiichi Nakagawa. Of course, just like any other scheme, there are times when his plan loses control and eventually, he also loses every progress. While almost all his plans are fun-driven, most of the fun in this specific manga come from the characters that possess qualities that are sometimes outrageous. One example is Nakagawa, defined as a rich character, as well Ai Asato, a transgender. What’s funny with them is that they don’t possess a great passion or sincerity towards their work as policemen. Despite all of these, Ryosan is considered as the best officer in their headquarters.
