This series has a lot of comedic parts, but when it comes to the romance parts, it is not that cliche at all. All in all, this series is a good watch that will make you see how each character’s story was portrayed properly without any loopholes. Meaning, this series is something I recommend to you guys!

The series is about a girl named Tohru Honda who coincidentally got involved with lifting the curse of the Chinese Zodiac Animals plus one–because there is a cat, who is one of her prospects. This amazing series has a lot of back stories that will make your heart quenched with how sad every single character was experiencing. With that, this series is part of the top 10 list because of how well-written the plot is and overall has a great character development!

This series took a different turn in a high school romance trope, if you have watched it, you’ll see that Takeo isn’t as attractive as how we all assume male leads should be. However, you would find this man very precious and husbando worthy because of how soft he actually is. Unlike the usual cold exterior type of man in a shoujo manga, this precious boy (that we should forever protect!) is super kind and not mean to the female lead!

I tell you my dear readers, this will make your heart really flutter and you’ll be able to appreciate the love that these both had and you would wish you had that too!

In addition to that, there are two pairs of main couple characters in this series! Throughout the entire series you’ll be laughing a lot and have your heart flutter a lot too, because of how cute the relationship these two couples have for each other!

Anyway, as the story goes, the dorm he lived in is full of chaotic high schoolers. With that, his friend suggested he  find a new owner for the abandoned kitty so that he’ll go back to his original place.

However, fate has better plans for him, during his stay in the dorm, he met a highschool girl named Mashiro Shina. Both of them became friends, but do you think it will develop more than just that?

As very smart people, both of them use their brains to outwit the other so that one of them confesses their feelings to each other.

In fact, that’s what makes this series really funny because of how they try so hard to seduce each other without even knowing that both of them really liked each other. But that’s not the only thing that makes this series funny and yet romantic at the same time, let’s not forget our wing woman Chika and Ai Hayasaka who helped them both be close together. In each episode, you would be left astonished with how these two characters helped the main characters get together.

But, really though, do you wanna know if they ever confess their feelings to one another?  Watch it guys and read the manga!

This series brings out a lot of drama that depicts the happenings in real life relationships. You’re gonna feel a lot of emotions from anger, sadness and happiness all at once– this series won’t let you rest! This is truly a diamond of a series, you just can’t get over it!

Another anime that became a hit after releasing its first episode! This was a highly awaited anime series that a lot of shoujo manga otakus were excited for, even I was super stoked with the news that this was gonna be animated! The reason why this is loved by many is because of how the romance between these two characters, Izumi and Kyoko, aren’t fast paced and they really did slowly get to know each other really well, to the point that they look like secret husband and wife high schoolers.   

This show really emphasizes to not really judge a book by its cover. Since, our male lead Izumi is seen as someone plain, wears a lot of sweaters and has really long hair– while in fact, he was just hiding his tattoos and piercings which our female lead, Kyouko (coincidentally)  found out about his secrets. In addition to that, once they get into a relationship together, you would be able to see how both of them came out of their shells and became a better person both individually and as partners. 

Really, this series has a lot in the bag, you’ll be able to relate some stuff that is happening in real life, and has the perfect balance of romance and comedy. Overall, you’re gonna appreciate this series a lot and probably love it!

The reason why it’s a bit cliche is because, you’ll be able to tell what would happen next, but that is the fun of it and at the same time you would get easily hooked by it. The story depicts how a girl named Nanami Momozono, who was kicked out by her father because he was in a huge debt, saved Mikage, a mysterious stranger. He then lets her move into his home, but the twist is that Mikage’s house is actually a shrine.

This is where their love story began, how they slowly developed each other’s feelings as well as being able to unpack hidden stories about each other and their history from that past. All in all, you’re gonna be hooked with this anime series, because there is a lot of drama–that we all love–and some funnies too!

As the title suggests, the main point of this series is Science. This is about two scientists who use scientific methods or theory to find love. So basically, they did tons of research just to prove that love can also be science too.

In a way, this series is kinda educational because you’ll be able to learn some concepts and theories about love. Well, if you really are into science and are curious about how love is perceived in a scientific approach then surely, this is something worth watching!

The development may be slow but it’s truly a chef’s kiss.

You’ll feel like the 13 episodes is not enough and you’ll want more of it. Anyways, the story is about Mitsuyoshi Tada, he doesn’t really know what love is and how it works, while taking pictures of cherry blossoms he met a foreigner named Teresa Wagner. Actually, she got lost on the way and with the help of Tada he brought her to her Grandfather’s cafe. 

With that, this starts their slow but beautiful and pure romance.

A bit about this series is that, a popular boy became friends with an unpopular girl or a shy type of a girl who just wants to make friends. It’s kinda funny why she can’t make friends, because people remind her of that ghost character from The Ring.

With that, this is how their story starts when Haruki gets close with Sakura and helps her achieve her bucket list that was written in her diary.

A heart-wrenching movie that will make you want to ask the author “who hurt you?” because of how the story was made.

Basically, both of them wanted or manifested to live a different life– after that, lo and behold their lives switched.

This series has a nice touch of reality and the main character’s perception of love– well, really our protagonist knows nothing much about love even though he is a grown adult, which is kinda sad in a way. Furthermore, the anime’s color scheme shows that this series will be sad– yes, I will emphasize on the sad part just because… 

But one thing is for sure, you’re gonna learn  a lot of stuff that makes you wanna take a reality check for a moment because boy, I did that and I really did reflect a little about life lol.

The curse was to turn her into an old woman, with that, Sophie embarked on a journey to look for Howl so that she could ask for his help in undoing her curse.

This is how Sophie and Howl ventured to find the Witch so that they could end the curse. While they are on journey the growing sparks of Howl and Sophie are getting stronger. You’ll be surprised with how her curse lifted. Better watch this film my dear readers, because it will surely melt your heart.

She became curious about the guy because it seems like he had the same interest as her. Turns out, the guy actually liked her way before that’s why he borrowed those books just to get to know her. This series has a lot of lessons that are quite relevant in our lives today and there are a lot of people actually experiencing it.

Whisper of the Heart is a series that dwells in exploring one’s interests and finding out what you really wanna do in life. Now this is a series that you would surely look forward to watching because of the process of how the characters were able to come to realize what they truly wanna do in life.

In this series as well as the movie, you’ll find yourself enamored by how unique the character Violet Evergarden is. There are a lot of perceptions on how she was viewed among others and through her own self. Throughout the series, you’ll only be watching her grow and discover what she really is as well as how she will overcome her past and the sorrow packed in it.

This then made her forced to transfer into another school. Years passed, Shoya decided to make amends with Shoko and tried to redeem himself from her. This starts Shoya’s journey in redeeming himself to Shoko.

With that, this movie actually touched a lot of topics that are relevant and timely up ‘till now such as, mental health and people who were born with disabilities. Furthermore, you’ll be able to see how people regret their past actions and (if they are a good person) try to look for a way to ask for forgiveness. Also, there are some scenes that will give you a good laugh too, so better watch this series because it is packed with so many life lessons.
