Anime where the MC has Demonic Powers

35. Assassin's Pride

assassins pride

Humanity is on the brink of extinction. The human world isn’t as open as it used to be, with lycanthrope roaming around in the open field. They are monsters that have forced humans to live in glass walls.

As the world is limited, it has a severe economic imbalance. There is a distinct difference in the lifestyles of commoners and nobles. But what makes Noble an elite class is their ability to manifest mana through their blood, which is the very essence humanity is still alive.

Kufa Vampir Assassination Classroom

Among the noble, there exists a girl named Melida Angel. She has trouble manifesting her mana, and well, it creates a lot of problems for her at school. To help Melida, her family hires a tutor, “Kufa Vampire.” Kufa appears to be an ordinary man on the outside, but he carries a little dark, twisted secret of his own within his heart.

Assassins Pride

He has been told that if Melida is not able to manifest her mana, he must kill her. But we all know Kufa wouldn’t kill. I mean, nobody is that mad to kill a person they start having feelings for. Well some people do because of the constantly being denied but their feelings are mutual. It’s not a typical love tail but it does surely have parts of romanticism spread over it.

To find out what happens in the anime, make sure to watch it.

34. Ushio To Tora

Ushio to Tora

Ushio to Tora follows the adventures and conflicts of Ushio Aotsuki, who is continuously pursued and helped by Tora, a vast, magical, and sometimes unseen tiger-like monster.

That surely gives Ushio an edge over everything, as whenever someone sees Tora, they get scared. I mean I’d be scared to death if I came across someone who is friends with a giant tiger-like monster.

Ushio to Tora

Ushio’s family maintains a temple in Japan where his samurai ancestors fought that same creature to a stalemate and ultimately imprisoned him against a rock with a cursed spear known as the “Beast Spear.” It provides the user strength, speed, and endurance in return for his soul.

Tora was stuck in their basement door after Ushio inadvertently opened it.

To the core, this is a fantastic action series with some crazy scenes. Ushio’s hair-raising metamorphosis and the odd demon-like smirk are what make anime what it is.

33. Kemono Jihen

Kemono Jihen

We all love anime centered around children who have mysterious powers that make them unique. Don’t we? Makes us imagine all sort of possible realities if we had some kind of powers. How we could save the world, land some girl or two, and become very popular, right?

Next on our list, Kemono Jihen is precisely that type of anime. The anime starts when a series of animal carcasses appear in a secluded mountain after rotting away in a single night. Inugami, a skilled Tokyo investigator specializing in supernatural and spooky stuff, investigates the weird incidents.

During the investigation, he befriends a peculiar youngster who works in the field every day.

His friends ostracized him and dubbed him “Dorotabou” after a Yokai who dwells in the mud instead of attending school.

Kemono jihen

He assists Inugami in uncovering the truth behind the murders. Still, mystical powers are at work, and while “Dorotabou” is simply a nickname, it may not be the only aspect about the child that isn’t human.

As the series progresses, some groundbreaking truths come to the surface, making the suspense peak.

32. Tears to Tiara

. Tears to Tiara

When life knocks you down, wipe your tears, put your Tiara back and binge watch the show again, cause chances are things are way better in anime than in real life.

This Anime follows a dark lore about Arawn, a strong demon king who slept for Aeon after his body was beaten in a fight that left him almost dead for a long time in “Tears to Tiara.”

After being revived, he displayed demonic powers that no other demon in the series had ever portrayed. His name is Lucifer, which implies he’s a devil who, very bluntly, can murder anyone. Arawn is virtually unbeatable.

Even after Drwc revived him, he immediately realized that someone was being sacrificed for him to be resurrected and murdered the person instead of the sacrifice that he attempted to perform right from the start.

Tears to tiara are not your average bright anime, and the anime explores some very dark sides of life.

31. D Gray Man

D Gray Man

Losing a loved one is so heartbreaking that it is understandable to want to be able to bring them back to life, a weakness that the enigmatic Millennium Earl exploits.

He utilizes the souls of the dead who are summoned back to create his automatic weapons known as “Akuma.”

Once a soul is imprisoned in an Akuma, it cannot be exorcised, and the only option to save them is to use the Anti-Akuma weapon “Innocence” to exorcise them from their vessel.

D. Gray Man

Allen Walker is transferred to the Black Order, an organization composed of people ready to battle Akuma and the Millennium Earl. Well, after three years as a pupil of General Cross, he became an official Exorcist.

D gray man

To recognize the Demon King, the demons created an academy where all the participants will get equal to prove that they are Demon Kings themselves.

However, when he enrolls at the academy, he was pretty surprised to see that the whole demon race has genuinely forgotten what the real Demon King was like back then.

Misfit of Demon King

Demon Slayer Corps

Muzan in the first season looks like a rip-off anime version of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth criminal” character, perhaps some shade throw? Watch the anime to crack this conspiracy theory young Shane Dawson.

This show is one of the best of all time, as fans are desperately waiting for season 2. Genuine raw emotions, painful deaths, and the art of bearing the pain are the anime’s central themes.

Demon King and Hero

And yes, it appears that Mc is some kind of simp. She describes how a hasty conclusion to the battle might cause further turmoil globally since Humans, once joined to combat shared foes, would ultimately start fighting among themselves, with similar concerns already developing in the Demon Realm.

Inspired by her words, the Hero teams up with the Queen, and together they carry out a plan that would bring wealth and permanent harmony to both Humans and Demons.

If you love anime that conveys the message of peace, you should give it a watch.

Yukina slowly learns that Kojou is, in fact, a good person at heart. Word spreads around, and soon the whole world knows about his presence, that he is, in fact, the fourth primogenitor, the most powerful being to exist on the Earth.

Strike the blood

She has this line throughout the series, that whenever while fighting his enemies, says this is his fight, Yukina out of nowhere appears in front of him and disagrees with them and says “No senpai this is our fight”. This is a cliché scene of the anime, but it just adds cuteness to the anime.

The show is full of girls developing feelings for Kojou and being chased by girls, at several points, the girl even forces him to bite on their neck.

23. Hellsing Ultimate

We are all aware of immortality and how evil vampires can be. But the presence of sunlight, or perhaps some garlic, makes all that strength of theirs disappear. However, this is not the case with our Hellsing MC, Alucard. He can heal rapidly even if he is beheaded.

Code Breaker

The characters do share some cute moments however Rey does what pleases his disposition and doesn’t think much about the consequences of his action until they show up to nip him.

He has a penchant for justice. He goes to any limit to see it through quoting more than several dozen times in the series: an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and evil for evil.

Code Breaker

He expresses a darker side of justice, like characters on a rampage of vengeance compared to an actual hero who saves good people while beating up bad guys leaving them for a rest.
