First on our list is this anime. The music and the atmosphere of the anime Baccano! have reminded me just a bit of Spy x Family, which I enjoyed. It is set in the historical time in the early 1900s and has a mixture of supernatural elements, eccentric people, action scenes and a sense of mystery. Both anime include funnier and gory scenes as well.
Baccano! is a crime drama that centers upon that Italian mafia during the Prohibition era and plays with the concept of immortality via the utilization of changing time periods and big characters. It’s a little more ‘wholesome’ than the other two, thanks to one smaller cast as well as a somewhat convoluted narrative that revolves around an impersonating family and dealing with conflict.

Wonder Egg Priority, a visually gorgeous show that is well worth seeing and is watched by millions of people around the globe. This anime depicts the challenges of everyday life that viewers easily empathize with. The anime is entertaining as Ai, the heroine, embarks on adventures akin to that of a Magical-Girl, conquering monsters there in hopes of rescuing her companion, who has just gone away.
CloverWorks, a character of this anime, was able to effectively handle big themes and thoughtfully debate them throughout the course of the story, which is something that most anime fail to accomplish properly. People can’t help but grin when they watch Ai, who is an introvert, get close to those who understand her challenges and have a good time with them. There’s a positivity to the program, which can also be seen while watching Spy X Family and other similar shows.

His sister reared him, Yuuta, from an early age when his parents died, and he is quite close to her. It’s impossible to say no when she requests him to look after her own girls while she and her husband leave on a business vacation in another country. However, after the couple’s aircraft goes missing and it is thought that they have died, he finds himself in the position of permanently caring for the three children in order to prevent them from being separated in foster care.
For a comical slice of life program, the tale of Yuuta gradually now being a father figure to the three daughters as they lament the death of both their parents was filled with emotions. Those who appreciated the study of family relationships in Spy x Family are likely to enjoy Listen To Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!

Kakushigoto is one of the anime on this list that brings some humor in a similar way to the anime Spy x Family.
This anime revolves around Kakushi Gotou, a manga artist who is rather well-known for creating works that include unsuitable themes. Given this crassness, when his child Hime was born, he promised to keep his career a secret from her, knowing that if she finds out, she would be disillusioned with him and his life.
Kakushi finds himself in a tense predicament as a result of this paranoia-induced notion. Despite the fact that he is a single parent, he tries his best and frequently goes to great lengths to keep his secret hidden, such as posing as just a salaryman each day or doing emergency procedures in the event that Hime manages to find her way back to his place of employment.

Both series are a blending slice-of-life, suspense, and action, with characters with remarkable talents who are striving to keep their identities a secret.
The events of FMP take place in a timeline in which the Cold War has not yet ended. It features mercenary as well as former child warrior Sousuke on his quest to protect psychic schoolgirl Kaname, who has the ability to communicate with animals. Sousuke, who has a military background, has a difficult time fitting into regular school life, and he interacts with others in a highly soldier-like way.
In comparison to Spy x Family, where the setting is influenced by the Cold War; the story revolves around the top spy, Loid, who has been assigned his most difficult task to date: pretending to build a family in an attempt to penetrate a school. His telepathic daughter, Anya, as well as assassin spouse, Yor, along with him, often come dangerously close to disclosing their identities by the acts they perform, which is understandable considering their extraordinary origins.

Possibly just me, but I believe there are some similarities between Great Pretender and Spy x Family, and each of them piques our interest by making us curious about the characters’ backstories and the climax of their respective stories.
Several tragic occurrences have driven Makoto Edamura to a life of crime, where he earns a livelihood by pickpocketing and conning other people out of their money. Nevertheless, after conning a supposedly gullible traveler, Makoto realizes that he had been in fact the one who had been duped, and to make things worse, some police are currently on his trail.

Another anime similar to Spy x Family that I recommend you to watch is Love of Kill. And, despite the fact that its tone isn’t as humorous or pleasant as the Spy x Family, I’m sure that both will bring an intriguing ideal.
The film is about a relationship between a bounty hunter and an assassin, and both of the film’s main characters have competing interests. Anyone who is fascinated in the complexities of Yor and Twilight’s relationship will likely find the link between Ryang-Ha as well as Chateau to be entertaining and interesting.

Both anime series revolve around the bond between a kid and his or her parents. Wherein the parent undergoes a transformation as a result of the kid, all of which is provided in a funny and healthy manner.
The story of this anime revolves around Seishuu Handa, a young and promising calligrapher who is also narcissistic to boot. He is young, gorgeous, and brilliant, but puts himself on a pedestal too much. Whenever a veteran calls his award-winning play “unoriginal,” Seishuu loses his cool, which has serious ramifications for the rest of the cast.

Similar to Spy x Family, the plot of this anime revolves around three dynamic people and their relationship with one another. Furthermore, they are both entertaining and fun to watch. Because both of their genres are comedic, this explains a great deal about why Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is on this list..
The main characters in this anime are Kobayashi and a maid. That charming, lively, and busty maid was previously a dragon, although one that dressed in the manner of a maid. Tooru the name she introduced herself.

Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song, an anime adaptation of a manga entitled Terminator series. It is set in the future. It features killer robots as well as time travel, also with the main character, Vivy, traveling backward to attempt to prevent this depiction of the story Judgment Day from occurring. Stunning hand-drawn animated battle sequences including martial arts are included in the program, which would be a distinction in the present era of anime production.
The battles in Vivy would be enjoyable for fans of the anime Spy X Family because all of the bouts in Vivy were more on hand to hand combat, which is comparable to the fighting style of Loid Forger.

For others who don’t have time to watch this one yet, Bungou Stray Dogs has this Army of Detective Agencies, well, somehow similar to Spy x Family. Also, both of them include comedy, so it is really a must to include this one on this list.
The story of this anime revolves around the people that were considered outcasts or those who are trying to find a reason to live. Well, it’s kinda bad for them to be kicked and let them starve to death, but fate has a great job for them. You can actually watch Bungou Stray Dogs to know more.

Given its popularity exponentially rising, it is quite nice to really include this anime on this list of anime like Spy x Family. Well, both of them show a common theme on brotherhood. Only, their main difference is that, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is mainly drama while Spy x Family is more on comedy.
Fullmetal alchemist is more on alchemy and magic stuff while Spy x Family goes with assassins and action things. But, if you really like Spy x Family, you can actually watch Fullmetal Alchemist.

Both shows begin with a radical idea, in which the male main character, who has a nefarious profession, is forced to take on the responsibility of rearing a kid who has abilities. This bizarre concoction results in some amusing, wholesome, and surprising sub-plots.
As we already know, tremendous power comes with great duty, and when that great authority is used to raise a troublesome kid, the burden is even more significant. Misunderstandings are commonplace, and they often result in hilarious scenarios that will have you panting for breath after you’ve laughed so hard you’ll pass out.

Attack on Titan, without a doubt, is one of the most gore and brutal anime series ever produced. Despite the fact that Spy X Family isn’t anywhere near as brutal and violent as shown in Attack on Titan, the series is produced under Studio Wit, the studio that is also producing Spy X Family at the moment, and the two shows have some parallels in terms of animation.
Attack on Titan also has a distinct family dynamic, with Eren’s parents parenting Mikasa, who isn’t connected to them in any way, as well as a unique setting. Following the death of his parents, Eren Jaeger’s determination to kill the titans may be understood by his fans. Loid Forger’s ambition to create a world wherein children won’t weep after seeing the horrors of war is similar to this, since he too has seen the tragedies from war.

Daisuke Kanbe, despite the fact that he is a billionaire with unlimited money, is a detective at a Crime Prevention Headquarters in Tokyo. He is unapologetically in favor of using money as a way of uncovering the truth, although his companion Haru Katou is often critical of Daisuke’s methods.
Because smart criminals may reap the benefits of their thoughtless scuffles when they work together on difficult investigations, the pair detectives should put their differences aside when they collaborate on complicated crimes. Much like the popular television series “Spy x Family,” the action-packed television series this anime provides viewers with episodes filled with cases that force them to know new things at every step.

A few years ago, this next anime, The Promised Neverland, was among the most known anime series. Other than the most widely panned second season, a lot of viewers were taken in by the show’s plot, its characters, and their importance of preserving their newly discovered extended family.
This series might capture the imagination of people in Spy X Family, since it’s also produced by CloverWorks and features the same characters. It’s also entertaining to draw comparisons between Anya and the characters in Promised Neverland since Anya’s abilities would have come in help during orphans’ escape from the castle.

We can’t make a list of anime similar to Spy x Family without having this anime on the list. Anya Forger, daughter of Loid Forger, who also seems to be a telepath, is among the most appreciated features of the anime Spy X Family. She has the ability to read minds and is aware of her mother’s and father’s actual identities—assassin and spy, respectively.
Anya has a lot in common with Eri, among the youngest characters of My Hero Academia, and they are both incredibly cute. Everyone that has seen My Hero Academia has taken a strong liking for Eri, just as fans and followers of Spy X Family have developed strong admiration for Anya from the beginning.

As they have discovered the presence of a specific mineral that resulted in the development of sophisticated military technology, the city of London has been separated by just a wall. Through espionage, the two opposing factions of the city attempt to undermine the other. Among the students of a famous university, there is a gang of spies who work to harm their adversary’s position.
Both series are set in imaginary worlds that are yet immersed in reality, and in which espionage instead of conflict is used to gain an edge while maintaining the status quo. Surprisingly, both anime series actually occur mostly in schools, with Princess Principal taking things a little more seriously than the other.

Those who are interested in Anya’s telepathy abilities may appreciate Mob Psycho 100, as it also depicts a young kid who has psychic abilities. Unlike Anya, Mob is not as cheery or as humorous as she is, but those wishing for a further in-depth exploration of telekinesis will find his path to be rewarding.
Additionally, Mob Psycho 100 contains a founding family dynamic that is similar to that of Spy x Family, additional to the anime’s captivating supernatural premise. While Mob maintains contact with his biological family, he considers his tutor Regan to be a loving father of sorts. Even though they aren’t as stunning as Twilight or Yor, Regan has his own mysteries of his own to keep him safe. Nonetheless, they provide a great deal of suspense, particularly when viewers wonder whether Mob will ever learn the truth about his mentor’s deceptions.
