Anime Like Link Click

25+ Anime Like Link Click! (Recommendations)

Link Click is a Donghua (Chinese Anime) that is popularly known for its time-travel with the mystery-solving theme. The donghua is entirely originally produced by Studio LAN with the cooperation of Haoliners Animation League.

The story is about Chen Xiaoshi and Lu Gang. They have supernatural abilities where they can enter photos and experience the time specified when that photo was taken. They work in “Time Photo Studio” where they fulfill their customers’ requests by using their abilities to enter photos. However, things don’t always go as planned for them.

Link Click

Just like every other Time-travel themed show out there, Link Click definitely stands out due to its unique and simple premise that always leaves the audience at the edge of their seat every episode.

If you like time travel, mystery/crime solving, or emotional attachments to people, I got it covered for you because we have all these in this list.

The anime is a mix of mecha and time travel which is pretty rare for the anime shows out there. So if you like your mecha action and time-traveling aspect, this show is definitely for you.

Nobita is an ordinary kid with a petty attitude. And here comes Doraemon, a blue robotic cat who came from the future, and you know what? He has infinite storage of high-tech stuff in his pocket. Here, we follow the everyday life of Nobita and Doraemon.

You might wonder why this anime is on the list. Well, the main point of this series is actually the character development of Nobita in each episode, not Doraemon’s time travel. And I kid you not, this anime has more than 1,700 episodes with 11 minutes each. Don’t worry about watching all the episodes because this is just a slice of life.

Keiichi Maebara recently moved to a quiet village called Hinamizawa. He became friends with his schoolmates there. But there is something dark happening in their village. One night, Keiichi learns about the legend behind the mysterious killings and disappearances during every festival with its patron god, Oyashiro. When he asked his friends about such events, they went silent which begs him more questions than answers.

I won’t tell anything about the time travel aspect in this series because it’s a very huge plot device for the mystery behind it. You better enjoy this as a horror mystery rather than the time travel aspect in this story.

She never told Hitomi anything about her departure to the past which leaves her oblivious as she lives in 2018 with her young grandmother. However, her life will become colorful once she knows and understands her mission there.

The anime mostly explores the beautiful aspect of life where you add color to your monochromatic life as you meet different people and experience the beauty of youth with time travel as the plot device.

They are decided through playing bar games with painful and deadly wagers. Because of their wagers, it shows people’s true colors which can be gauged whether they are evil or good for their next destination.

Link Click explores the personal lives of individuals by experiencing them through entering their consciousness, whereas Death Parade is only spectated by the main character. What I’m trying to say is that these characters explore people’s lives in their own way.

Just like Link Click, this anime has a thriller mystery with a bunch of unconnected characters that will eventually become part of the main conflict of the story. This anime might not make any sense at first, but trust me, all of the scenes will connect with each other later on. Oh and if you’re wondering why they’re all animals, it’s actually part of the main character’s plot.

Akihito AKA “Sakaido”, a member of the police, was hit with tragedy and soon found himself at the other side of justice and law. However, his detective skill is still needed and he discovers something very sinister hiding after a series of murders he’s investigating in.

Much Like Link Click’s main characters, this show also focuses on a person that enters someone’s mind and utilizes them to solve mysteries and crimes. Though there is no time travel here, you will still definitely enjoy this.

Once Subaru dies, he comes back in time like a game checkpoint and he has to redo everything to prevent it from happening again. The story follows Subaru’s characterization as he grows as a decent person.

Dying to have a chance to correct your mistakes sure sounds great, but the pain and suffering that Subaru goes through may make you feel sorry for him. Re: Zero is written well due to its realistic approach of having a normal person being put in that kind of situation. So if you like a character-driven story with time-travel as a tool, then this is a great watch.
