We’re constantly looking for more anime that could give us the same perfection and satisfaction but are confused about which anime to watch if we want to have the same experience after watching Bleach. Worry not guys! We’re here with a recommendation list for you guys! If you loved Bleach, you would definitely love the anime we’ve mentioned in our list. 25. Samurai Champloo

Samurai Champloo and Bleach are similar in the way that they incorporate sword fights. If you loved sword fighting in Bleach, you’re going to love everything about Samurai Champloo. This is a story about Fuu, Mugen, and Jin who go on an adventure together. Mugen and Jin are saved by Fuu from execution and in return, Fuu asks them to help her find a Samurai that smells of Sunflowers. That’s how their fate is connected with each other and their adventure begins. 

24. Dream Eater Merry

The concept of Hollows and Dreams in both Bleach and Yumekui Merry is quite similar. The Hollows that escape from Hueco Mundo are considered bad and the Dreams that escape from the Dreamland are considered bad. This anime introduces us to a high school student named Yumeji Fujiwara. He has the power to give insight into people’s dreams. 

However, he is in big trouble due to the nightmares of people’s dreams. His enemy is Chaser John Doe who leads an army of cats. We’re introduced to Merry who is another dream demon and wants to return to the dream world. They both decide to help each other and that’s when their adventure begins.

23. Ruroni Kenshin

Both Ruroni Kenshin and Bleach have some amazing cosplay and you’re bound to like Ruroni Kenshin if you loved Bleach. Ruroni Kenshin takes us to the Meiji Period in Japan. It was the time when terrorists were against the revolution in Japan. We’re introduced to Himura Kenshin, a samurai, who has dedicated his life to protecting the innocent and the weak. He also befriends a bunch of other people including Kaoru, Sanosuke, and Yahiko. However, Himura has a dark past that won’t let him live peacefully until he resolves it. 

22. Buso Renkin

When it comes to characters and plot development, both Buso Renkin and Bleach are exactly the same. The story introduces us to a high school student named Kizuki Muto who saves a girl from a monster and ends up dying. When he woke up, he found himself  in a school dorm. He comes across a giant serpentine monster who was going to attack him and his sister but Tokiko, the girl he saved, told him that it was the same monster that Kizuki saved him from. She also told him that she replaced his heart with a Kakugane Medallion and revived him. That’s when Kizuki’s life is changed forever.

21. Kekkaishi

Both Kekkaishi and Bleach are similar when it comes to the shounen aspect. The story introduces us to Yoshimura Sumimura who belongs to a family of Kekkaishi. The Kekkaishi are known for fighting evil forces named Ayakashi who come into the human world from time to time. The Ayakashi love spreading terror in the town of Karasumori where Yoshimura’s high school happens to be. Now, it is up to Yoshimura to keep the evil forces away from his school and the town. He is also accompanied by his childhood friend named Tokine Yukimura who will help him fight the Ayakashi.

20. My Hero Academia

Both the protagonists in Bleach and My Hero Academia are quite similar in the sense that both of them had to learn and adapt to the new powers that they were granted. My Hero Academia introduces us to a quirkless Deku who was highly inspired by All Might, the no.1 pro-hero, and wanted to enroll in the U.A High in order to become a pro hero himself. One day, he came across All Might who granted him his own quirk and Deku was already ready to go to the U.A Academy. However, his road to becoming a hero won’t be easy as evil forces are constantly threatening the safety of the students as well as the innocent civilians.

19. Akame ga Kill

We get to see similar amazing swordplay in both Akame ga Kill and Bleach. Both protagonists want a world free from evil beings and are fighting for their cause. This anime introduces us to Tatsumi, who wants to save his poverty-stricken village from its ultimate demise. As soon as he arrives at the Empire, he comes across a group of assassins named the “Night Raid”. Tatsumi joins the Night Raid and together, they stand against the corrupt Empire. 

18. Seraph of the End

Both Seraph of the End and Bleach have similar kinds of weapons, and the protagonists in both are also similar to each other. The story introduces us to a world where all the adults have been killed due to some catastrophic event. On top of that, Vampires started enslaving the rest of the population. We’re introduced to Yuichiro, who, along with a bunch of other kids, is kept in an underground area as food for the vampires. There’s no escape. However, Yuichiro is adamant about escaping and freeing the world from the evil forces of the vampires. He successfully gets away from the vampires and is now ready to take revenge on them. 

17. Shaman King

The concept of Shingamis and Shamans is similar in both Bleach and Shaman King. Shaman King is the story of Yoh Asakura who aspires to become a Shaman King one day. Accompanying him is his spirit Amidamaru, his newly found friend Manta and his fiance and teacher, Anna Kyoyama. 

16. Ushio no Tora

The premise of both the anime are quite similar and we see a lot of similarities between the two protagonists as well. The story revolves around a spoiled middle schooler named Ushio. His father is a priest who claims that monsters called Yokai exist and Ushio doesn’t really pay heed to his claims. However, he’s shocked to see a yokai in his basement. The yoka named Tora wants Ushio to release it from its 500-year-old seal. He refuses initially but when other yokai start putting his family in danger, he has no choice left but to unseal Tora. That’s how the duo starts fighting the evil forces in order to protect Ushio’s loved ones. 

15. Burn the Witch

Both Burn the Witch and Bleach were written by the same writer and we can see a great similarity between the character designs as well as the plot structure. We’re taken to London where according to a  study, 72% of deaths are due to dragons. These dragons are invisible to most people there. The only people who can see the dragons are the inhabitants of Reverse London. Two girls named Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole are members of an organization named Wing Bind. It is up to the two girls to save the inhabitants of London from the deadly invisible dragon. 

14. Inuyasha

Both Inuyasha and Bleach have the same kind of swordplay. Inuyasha tells us the story of a high school girl named Kagome who after falling into a well gets transported back into the feudal era of Japan. As soon as she arrives in the past, she meets a half-demon named Inuyasha. It is revealed that she possesses a powerful jewel that grants her immense spiritual power. However, the jewel ends up breaking into a lot of tiny pieces, and the pieces spread around the entire country. Now, Kagome must find the pieces of the jewel as well as fight evil forces that come in their way. 

13. Saint Seiya

We can say that Bleach is the successor of Saint Seiya and a spiritual one. The Gotei 13  in Bleach is very much similar to the 12 Golds Saint Saga in Saint Seiya. This anime introduces us to Athena and her 88 Saints whose mission is to fight other gods that want to replace Athena. The fight has been going on for a thousand years. Athena and her Bronze Saints are all ready to fight again. 

12. Fairy Tail

We’re served a similar kind of action and humor in both the anime, not to mention the same shounen aspect. The story of this anime introduces us to Lucy who is a mage but all she wants is to join a guild. Her eyes are set on the Fairy Tail guild. One day, Lucy comes across Natsu who reveals himself to be a member of the Fairy Tail Guild. Lucy joins the guild and together, they’re ready to go on an adventure that they will remember for the rest of their lives. 

11. One Piece

One Piece and Bleach both are the greatest shounen anime ever created. Both Luffy and Ichigo are fighting to protect their friends. One Piece is a story about an energetic guy named Luffy who wants to find the “One Piece” that the Pirate King left behind and wants to be the next Pirate King. He forms a crew full of crazy people and is set out on a long journey. He makes a lot of enemies and friends throughout his journey and also learns a lot after exploring different areas.

10. Demon Slayer

Again, both Demon Slayer and Bleach involve amazing swordplay  and also fight evil. Demon Slayer is a story about Tanjiro Kamado who shoulders his family’s responsibility after the death of his father. One day, all of his family gets slaughtered by a Demon named Muzan. He only left his sister, Nezuko, alive but she became a half-demon. Tanjiro vows to exterminate every single demon from the face of Earth and also wants to find a way to turn Nezuko back into a normal human being. He becomes a demon slayer and meets his two companions, Zenitsu and Inosuke, who will help him achieve his goal. 

9. Soul Eater

The setting of both Soul Eater and Bleach is quite similar. Both have people that fight demons feeding on human souls. Soul Eater takes us to the Shinigami Weapon Meister University where students are paired with their weapons who are also human-like but can transform into a weapon at will. We’re introduced to Maka, Death the Kid, and Black Star who are ready to fight and get what they need the most, the 99 pre-kishin souls. 

8. Blue Exorcist

The incorporation of spirits in both the anime is similar and the fact that both protagonists can see the spirits and others cannot is also the same. Blue Exorcist tells us the story of Rin Okumura who comes across a boy possessed by a demon one day. While trying to save that boy, Rin ends up awakening the demon inside himself. He decides to join the True Cross Order in order to fight his own parentage. He becomes an exorcist who will fight till the end for his cause. 

7. D Gray Man

D Gray Man involves a lot of interesting characters just like Bleach. This anime takes us to the 19th century. We’re introduced to Allen Walker who joins an organization of exorcists named Black Order. The members of the Black Order are supposed to cleanse the souls of the Akuma by using a substance named Innocence. Millennium Earl is the enemy of the organization whom they must defeat if they want to protect the world from evil forces. 

6. Black Clover

The concept of Squads and Soul Reapers are similar in both Black Clover and Bleach. We also get to see similar shounen aspects in both of them. Black Clover is a story about an orphan named Asta who wants to become the next Wizard King. However, he is not granted the magical grimoire when everybody else is. But he doesn’t lose hope and while saving his friend Yuno, he is granted his rare grimoire. Together with Yuno, he travels to the Empire in order to become the next Wizard King. However, he’s not the only one who wants to become the Wizard King.

5. Tokyo Ghoul

Both the protagonists of Tokyo Ghoul and Bleach acquired their powers from other beings despite them wanting not to have them. They both started off the same. Tokyo Ghoul tells us the story of a bookish guy named Kaneki Ken who gets smitten by a beautiful girl named Rize. However, that very girl is revealed to be a ghoul and wants to devour Kaneki. However, Kaneki was saved by a girl named Touka who happens to be a ghoul as well. Kankei would’ve died if his organs were not replaced with that of Rize. Now, Kaneki must keep his identity as a half-human and half-ghoul a secret from others and also fight other ghouls who are after his blood. 

4. Naruto

Both Bleach and Naruto are the best Shounen Anime ever created and both of them have outstanding character development when it comes to their characters. We’re introduced to a ninja named Naruto who wants to become the Hokage. He’s paired up with his buddies, Sakura and Sasuke, to train and pass the ninja exam. However, he has no idea what trials and tribulations are waiting. 

3. Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen and Bleach have similar kinds of splendid artwork and a wide range of characters that makes them similar. Jujutsu Kaisen is a story about Itadori Yuuji who has joined an Occult Club in his school. After coming across a cursed object one day, Itadori attracts all kinds of curses that land his friends in danger. He also ends up eating a demon named Sukuna’s finger which turns him into a curse as well. He’s taken to the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu High in order to become a sorcerer who will fight curses. However, how will he manage the demon within himself that can take control of his body at will? 

2. Noragami

Both anime have similar concepts and they start off in the same way. Noragami is a story about Yato, a god who is taking all sorts of jobs because he’s not famous anymore. One day, he’s saved by a girl named Hiyori and she takes a hit for him. She’s not dead but her soul becomes loose and often comes out of her body. She demands Yato turn her back to normal. However, Yato must find a Regalia before he could help Hiyori. Together, they decide to go on a  journey to find a Regalia for Yato. 

1. Yu Yu Hakusho

Yu Yu Hakusho and Bleach have this similar Spirit Detective concept and have a lot of other things in common, including comedy and characters. The story revolves around Yusuke Urameshi, a middle school boy, who ended up dying after saving a child from an accident. However, he was revived as a Spirit Detective in a spirit world. Now, he must save the spirit world as well as the human world from all the calamities.
