Itachi is one of the most loved characters in Naruto. Naturally, we would want to reminisce a few of his sayings and quotes. He may have walked on a tragic path but he will be remembered positively in Konoha. So let’s take a look at one of the best Itachi quotes out there!

BEST ITACHI UCHIHA QUOTES FROM NARUTO
I have a sister, so I can really relate to this quote. I remember when I was younger she was hit by someone. It made me furious, and I did something to hurt the person who hurt her, and made sure she felt protected. Even though that was wrong, I just know how Itachi feels, and what he means when he says that.
Don’t cry, Sasuke. Your big brother is here to protect you, no matter what happens.

Ah love this one! Just straight-up self-awareness. I think this one means so much. You have to acknowledge not just the good parts about you but also all the bad parts about yourself.
Those who cannot acknowledge themselves, will eventually fail.

Protect your NAKAMA!! over everything!
He said this to Kisame
Those who turn their hands against their comrades are sure to die a terrible death. Be prepared.

Sacrifice, there is no progress without it. We can’t do everything in the world, but we can do anything in the world. We must pick what to sacrifice. We are all sacrificing something for another.
Self-sacrifice… A nameless shinobi who protects peace within its shadow. That is a true shinobi.

This is the most beautiful thing, that no matter how much we try to be perfect in order to make others love us more. The real secret is that we can never be perfect just by ourselves in the first place.
No single thing is perfect by itself. That’s why we’re born to attract other things to make up for what we lack. I think we start walking in the right direction only after we start getting our counterparts beside us.

It’s crazy that Itachi could be so objective, in the most fearful moments. Because the funnies thing is that it’s a natural human reaction to fear the unknown. So it’s not something that we can attain naturally, but it’s a disciplined task to train yourself to look at the unknown objectively.
“It’s foolish to fear what we have yet to see and know.”

It’s true that we can use our negative emotions to fuel our ambitions, and use them to strengthen us, but I don’t believe Itachi did the right thing here. Making Sasuke hate him in order to make him stronger.

You are weak. Why are you so weak? Because you lack… hatred.

Don’t be judgemental, yup noted, even though I still catch myself doing it many times.
It is not wise to judge others based on your own preconceptions and by their appearances.

Oh man! I love this one. To be leaning into your fear can be the most exciting thing in our life. Are you doing it for yourself? Are you using this lesson from Itachi?
Growth occurs when one goes beyond one’s limits. Realizing that is also part of training.

It’s so funny, but truly each one of us out of all the billions of people on Earth, has a different life. A unique life, and a unique perspective, and yet we all have something in common as well… we’re all human.
Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions. Everyone lives within their own subjective interpretation.

Itachi was so smart and analytical, he wouldn’t even flinch in the hardest of situation. Even when Killer B and Naruto together couldn’t figure out a way to defeat Edo Nagato. he figured it out in a matter of minutes.
Naruto: “How can you be easy going at a time like this?! If we’re caught we’ll never be able to get out. I only got out of planetary devastation because of nine tails rampage”
Itachi: “It’s not about being easy going, analysis requires calm. Every jutsu has a weakness!”

You’re such a child. You talk of nothing but pipe dreams… there are times when people must make painful choices.

You and I are flesh and blood. I’m always going to be there for you, even if it’s only as an obstacle for you to overcome. Even if you do hate me. That’s what big brothers are for.

“However strong you become, never seek to bear everything alone. If you do, failure is certain.”

“We do not know what kind of people we truly are until the moment before our deaths. As death comes to embrace you, you will realize what you are. That’s what death is, don’t you think?”

No one is perfect, even Itachi said. Now I can finally take it easier on myself. How about you?
I actually don’t think something like perfection exists. That is I think why we are born able to absorb things… and by comparing ourselves with something else we can finally head in a good direction.

Itachi continues to assess his walk of life as he says this to Kisame, which makes us wonder indeed, that death is what makes us all equal. The idea of death for Itachi is something that can help him figure out himself, and by extension perhaps ourselves.
We don’t know what kind of people we truly are until the moment before our deaths.

It’s a thought to remember as power doesn’t always come with benefits. Sometimes some may lose sight of who they are and be branded because of power. Itachi knows his strength but also reminds Sasuke that his road to power causes isolation.
This is what happens when you are skilled. Power causes you to become isolated and arrogant
Itachi Uchiha

This was the advice that Itachi gave Naruto, this shaped his views on becoming Hokage. Allowing him to realize that in order for him to make a difference, he has to prove himself with his skills, not just the title alone.
You don’t become the Hokage to be acknowledged by everyone. The one who is acknowledged by everyone becomes the Hokage.

This can be applied in real life as the things we perceive can be sometimes different.
People live their lives bound by what they accept as correct and true. That’s how they define ‘reality’. But what does it mean to be ‘correct’ or ‘true’? Merely vague concepts… Their ‘reality’ may all be a mirage. Can we consider them to simply be living in their own world, shaped by their beliefs
Itachi Uchiha

Ever heard of having two personas or lives? Sometimes we tend to change how people see us so much that we end up seeing what they see. So, remember to stay true to your authentic self.
If you want to know who you are, you have to look at your real self and acknowledge what you see.

Itachi is still showing his love for his brother, despite the malice that was accumulated all those years.
I always lied to you telling you to forgive me. I used these hands to keep you at distance… I did not want you to get involved. But now… I think you could have changed father and mother
Itachi Uchiha

He says this as he and Kisame watch Jiraiya and Naruto. As one of the three legendary ninjas, it would be wise to keep your distance. But Itachi is right, even the strong ones can be brought down.
Even the strongest of opponents always have a weakness.

Itachi’s philosophical views continue to transcend the show as this can be applicable to real life
True Change cannot be made if it is bound by laws and limitations, predictions and imagination

Strength will always be rooted in our own acceptance of ourselves
Those who forgive themselves, and are able to accept their true nature…THEY ARE THE STRONG ONES.

Itachi always loved Konoha, despite the dark shadow that loomed over him. He continues to care for the village and especially his brother.
The village does have its dark side and its inconsistencies, but I’m still Konoha’s Itachi Uchiha
