Yuuri is a very soft-hearted, kind, and timid boy who doesn’t react well to failure. He takes it to his heart and gets depressed for months. While he appears to be a very shy and flustered boy, he’s very persistent as well as competitive. He will never let his shyness or nervous dull his shine.

Before getting to know Victor, Yuuri was not confident at all. However, after he got to know him, he became bold and more confident. He stopped fearing failure and stopped caring about anyone who insulted him in any way. A normal person would break easily when insulted or easily get agitated. However, Yuuri always remained calm and collected no matter what.

He did sometimes become nervous and anxious. During ice skating, he instantly becomes focused and a little selfish but due to Victor’s influence, he became more mindful of others around him. If you got Yuuri Katsuki, you’re a very soft and kind soul but are also very determined and persistent. He’s definitely one of those anime characters that turn out handsome and cool later.

Yuri Plisetsky

Yuri Plisetsky is a very competitive guy who wants to become the best ice skater. He appears to be very graceful and charming inside the ice skating rink. However, outside of it, his personality changes and he becomes very rude and cold.

He was nicknamed as “Russian Punk” by Yuuri, who doesn’t like his rude attitude towards others. Yuri is very hot-blooded. He tends to lash out on others if irritated even slightly.

Yuri is very confident. He’s constantly trying to win the admiration of Victor and doing his best while ice skating.

He doesn’t want to be looked down upon and always exudes confidence. He sees everyone as his competition and trains very hard in order to surpass them in every way. Despite appearing to be foul-mouthed and cold, Yuri has a softer side to him as well.

Georgi Popovich

Georgi Popovich is a Russian Figure Skater. He takes his sport very seriously and is determined to become the best of the best. Georgi expresses his emotions in a very funny and pompous way.

He’s definitely a comic relief character in the anime. Georgi is a good friend of Mila who is also his roommate. Mila knows all about Georgi and she’s also shown to make fun of Georgi’s dramatic expressions while skating.
