SSSS. Gridman is based on a series from back in the 1990’s. Hyper-Agent Gridman was made by Tsuburaya Productions with actors dressed up in costumes fighting monsters with very 90’s special effects. Think Power Rangers and you will get the idea!!!

Gridman
First, we should look at Gridman himself. He is after all the titular character! Gridman is a Hyper Agent, which is kinda complicated to get your head around when you are not familiar with the story! I speak from experience!!
What I do know is that he is the very definition of a hero! He needs a host body to allow him to continue to fight, and that is where the main character Yuuta comes in–more about him later, this is Gridman’s time to shine!
If you got Gridman, you are a protective person who will do anything for your friends. You will support your friends in everything that they do. If they need help with school work or their personal life, you will be the one that they turn to for help.
Being like Gridman means you are someone who holds the group together and will be there until the end!
Yuuta Hibiki
Yuuta Hibiki is our main guy in the series, and when you are the main guy, you also end up with a lot of responsibilities. Yuuta is loyal and caring towards his friends and will do whatever it takes to protect them. He also does not think twice about putting the safety of others above his own safety.
Akane Shinjou
Akane Shinjou is one of the main characters. She has a personality that can deceive some people as she looks sweet and harmless on the outside. But on the inside, she is not as nice as she seems. If you are like Akane, this is slightly worrying because if she gets angry, she will do anything to get what she wants, no matter what it costs. If anyone crosses you, you will hold a grudge until the end of time!
Rikka Takarada
Rikka Takarada is very different from the other girl in the group! She is much quieter and acts older than her actual age. If you are like Rikka, you will be quiet and reserved, but sometimes people will think you are being a bit snobby. However, this is not true, and you will be a kind person who cares for your friends. Even so, you will not be afraid to break a rule now and again if you feel like it.
Sho Utsumi
Sho Utsumi is the other male main character. He is a relaxed individual and tends to see only the positive things in life. If you are like Sho, you will find excitement in little things and will love your hobbies and interests. However, you may be a little over excited about them and annoy people by talking about them ALL THE TIME! You will care for your friends and want the best for them.
SSSS. Gridman in a Nutshell
One day, Yuuta Hibiki realizes that he has lost his memories. He can also hear a strange voice coming from somewhere – which is not usually a good sign!! In this case, it belongs to a robot by the name of Hyper Agent Gridman who is inside an old computer.
Yuuta is at the home of his friend, Rikka Takarada, who can’t hear the voice. She is also blissfully unable to see the monsters who are about to attack the town. But as the monsters attack, Yuuta finds himself merged with Gridman and suddenly part of the fight against the monsters.
As time goes on, Yuuta forms the Gridman Alliance with Rikka and his other friend, Shou, Utsumi to fight the incoming monsters!
