Sk8 the Infinity is a sports anime that was released in 2021. This anime, along with its unique characters, made everyone fall in love with them. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that this anime hits you emotionally when it comes to your struggles with friends. 

The story revolves around Reki, who goes through the midnight skating competition along with his new friend, Langa. Langa transferred to Reki’s school all the way from Canada. It turns out that this boy is a prodigy at skating. Together, they come across many interesting events. Reki Kyan 

Reki Kyan is the main character in Sk8 the Infinity. He’s a high schooler who’s fascinated by skateboarding. Reki is often seen hanging out at the underground skateboarding race along with Langa. When it comes to his personality, he’s an approachable guy who would always be nice to you. The special thing about him is that he can get along with almost anyone he meets. This is why we say that Reki has an outstanding personality. As a student, he’s very lazy and tries to get the minimum grades in order to pass his tests. 

If you got Reki on the quiz, you’re very friendly and easy-going. You tend to put the needs of othersbefore your own. You are selfless just like Reki. Reki cares a lot about his dear ones. If someone treats him differently, he gets hurt. For instance, when Langa started shining more due to his skateboarding skills, he thought he was being neglected. But it was all settled when Langa cleared up the misunderstanding. 

Reki clearly enjoys physical touch, we’ve seen him being physical with Langa and Miya. He doesn’t mind hugging his friends every once in a while. Reki is surely one of the sweetest boys in the series. 

Langa Hasegawa 

Langa Hasegawa is our second main character. He’s the student with blue hair who transferred to Reki’s school all the way from Canada. Langa is also known as “Snow.” He became friends with Reki very quickly due to their shared interests. Both of them enjoy skateboarding, and that’s why they often go to see the skateboard matches and wish to participate in them. Reki observed that Langa is naturally good at skateboarding, thus he got to train Langa.. 

When it comes to Langa’s personality, he’s very calm and laid back. Since he wants to learn skateboarding, he’s very determined and strong-willed. If you got Langa on the quiz, you surely get distracted by things quickly. That’s why they say Langa is an airhead. Sometimes, he would accidentally hurt himself by falling since he gets distracted easily. Overall, his calm appearance will make you fall in love with him. I think Langa has really good looks. Since Langa spent the majority of his life in Canada, he’s not really familiar with the Japanese tradition. For instance, when he had a job interview with Cherry Blossom, he didn’t know how to sit in seiza style. Langa has been trying to get a job ever since his father passed away. So, he’s naturally hard working. 

Miya Chinen 

Miya Chinen is one of the supporting characters in Sk8 The Infinity. He’s an elite middle schooler and is a candidate for Japan’s national team. He’s such a young boy, yet he’s accomplished so much. Miya originally was a carefree boy who didn’t care about anything and just lived his life. Currently, he has grown into a rather cocky boy who can be mean sometimes. Miya has been skating for a long time. Ever since he was a child, he skated with his friends. He’s talented enough to master the skateboard. No wonder he’s now a candidate for Japan’s National Team. 

If you got Miya on the quiz, you’re really competitive and your strong determination gets you through competitions. You’re always aiming for victory. Miya doesn’t want anyone to see him at his worst. That’s why when Langa and Reki saw him in a miserable condition, he did not like it. There’s a dark past behind Miya. He was abandoned by a group of friends back in the day, and he tends to leave people first before getting too close to them. Tadashi Kikuchi 

Tadashi Kikuchi is one of the hidden gems in the world of skateboarding. He is the secretary of Adam. But the thing is that he grew up with Adam, and he was just a small kid when he was appointed to this job. As he grew up, he had to be more serious and professional in his job. So, when you first see him, you’re going to be like, “Who’s this serious guy?” I won’t spoil anything for you. However, he’s a really nice guy. 

If you got Tadashi on the quiz, you like to keep things to yourself. You care deeply about your loved ones. If people hurt you, then you try to turn a blind eye to them. Thus, it proves your care for them. Tadashi seems to care a lot about Adam since he literally grew up with him. Since Adam and Tadashi had shared interests in skateboarding. Adam’s father fired Tadashi since he spent a lot of time with Adam and distracted him through skateboarding. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Tadashi is one of the best skaters in Sk8 The Infinity! Adam 

Adam is also named Ainosuke Shindo. He’s a sadist who loves putting other skaters in danger whenever they compete with him. He gets really intense when he’s skating. Adam is one of the main antagonists in the anime. He literally tried to scratch poor Reki’s face on the road. Doesn’t that sound intense? If you got Adam on the quiz, you tend to go very rough and rash while competing. You believe in yourself more than anything. 

Adam or Ainosuke Shindo tends to disrespect uninteresting opponents. He’s been involved in many rough and tough incidents in the anime. Outside of the skateboarding world, he is calm. He has to make his career or else his dad is going to kill him. (if you know you know) Yes! His dad controls his life to some extent. Koijiro Nanjo 

Koijiro Nanjo, or Joe is really famous with the ladies for his handsome face and good physique. He has muscles and abs. Overall, he’s a really friendly guy who’d go to greater lengths just to help his friends out. If you’ve  got Koijiro Nanjo, you’re really cool and chill. All of your friends love being around you, even though they don’t say it much. 

Joe is also one of the skaters in the anime who gives off “playboy” vibes. He always has two girls around him. I sometimes feel sad for Joe’s fangirls because he literally plays with them. Anyways, he helps his close friend ak.a.  Cherry Blossom, a lot. Both of these guys are spending time together. You can always see them together in the anime. If you don’t believe me, watch Sk8 The Infinity. Whenever his friends are worried or doubt their skills, he makes sure to make them believe that they are good enough foranything! 

Kaoru Sakuryashiki 

Kaoru Sakurayashiki, or Cherry Blossom, is also one of the main characters in Sk8 The Infinity who’s mostly seen hanging around Joe. He’s also one of the founding members of “S,” the underground skateboarding competition. To be honest, he is the sanest character in the anime.. Kaoru is always calm and collected. If you got Kaoru Sakurayashiki, you’re the luckiest here since he’s known as the most mature guy. You handle things in a stoic manner. You’re not too stubborn and let things out of your control go. 

Kaoru Sakurayashiki is polite and clearly competitive during skating competitions. He’s opinionated sometimes, but it’s okay since he’s good-looking and has a good nature too.
