1. Pegasus Seiya
Pegasus Seiya is the main character of the series. He is one of the eighty eight warriors of Athena who are protecting the Earth. Seiya is a true advocate of justice. He’s a very loyal warrior who never sits back while others are fighting. He might seem to be rude and arrogant initially but he’s the kindest person you’ll ever come across. He won’t hesitate sacrificing his own life for his friends and loved ones. He always respects women even if they are his opponents and will avoid fighting with them as well.
2. Dragon Shiryu
Dragon Shiryu is one of the warriors of Athena and is the most mature one out of all of them. He’s the most level-headed as well. While the others wear their emotions on their sleeves, Shiryu always acts in a calm and collected manner. He possesses very impressive physical strength that makes him one of the strongest warriors.
3. Phoenix Ikki
Phoenix Ikki used to be a powerful antagonist in the series initially but he proved to be a very useful comrade later in the series. Ikki is very cold and aggressive. He likes to work alone rather than in groups. He’s basically a lone wolf. But Ikki has a soft-spot for his younger brother, Shun, and he always wants to be able to protect him. He will also not hesitate to put his own life in danger if it means he can save his loved ones.

Andromeda Shun is the younger brother of Phoenix Ikki. Shun is the purest and the kindest. He doesn’t like using violence. He also takes mercy on his enemies. He’s very patient and will only resort to solving the matter with words until he’s forced to use it. He’s also extremely powerful when it comes to using his physical abilities.
5. Libra Dohko
Libra Dohko is one of the Gold Saints. As Dohko trained Shiryu, he became his father figure. Shiryu respected Dohko a lot and looked up to him as well. Dohko used to be very cheerful when he was young but he became a bit more serious and level-headed as he grew up. Libra Dohko is definitely one of the strongest Saints out there.
6. Cygnus Hyoga
Cygnus Hyoga is one of the Bronze Saints who knows how to manipulate ice. Hyoga appears to be very cold and calm at all times. He won’t show any kind of emotion no matter what. Hyoga was extremely attached to his deceased mother and that became his weakness. It was also Hyoga’s strength, apparently.

Leo Aiolia is one of the Gold Saints. Aiolia is a very self-righteous person. He was extremely loyal to Athena. His brother, Aiolias, once tried to kill Athena and was branded a traitor. Aiolia worked extremely hard in order to prove that he is different from his brother. He’s also a bit impulsive and always in the need of some action.

Aries Mu is one of the Gold Saints. Mu is very friendly and a true gentleman. He’s very calm and wants peace everywhere. Mu has the strongest psychic powers out of all the Saints and that makes him one of the strongest and most capable Saints. Mu is very respectful towards his allies and respects Libra Dohko the most.

Ophiuchus Shaina is one of the eighty eight warriors of Athena. She’s extremely tough for a woman. She also loves using violence and is very aggressive. Shaina bore a lot of hate for Seiya as he broke her mask and defeated her disciple. She wanted to kill him no matter what. However, she ended up falling in love with him. She became one of the allies of Seiya and was always there for him.
