Re: Main is a fresh new Sports anime series that deals with “Water Polo” and is perfect for the summer season. The most interesting aspect of the anime is that it is animated by “MAPPA” which proudly represents some of the most popular anime like Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Minato Kiyomizu
Minato Kiyomizu is a cheerful high school student who had to quit Water Polo because of a tragic accident. Following the accident, he lost all his memories, including the way he played Water Polo.
He actually used to be considered a “prodigy” in his previous water polo club because of his exceptional skills. His junior, Eitaro Oka, forced him to join the Water Polo Club, which he did. Though Kiyomizu lost his carefree personality, he was able to get it back with the help of his family and new friends. He cares deeply for both his family and friends and constantly tries to live up to their expectations which often stresses him out. All in all, Kiyomizu has a very sweet personality which makes him a total cutie!
2. Eitaro Oka
Eitaro Oka is the junior of Kiyomizu from the same school. He greatly admires Kiyomizu and forces him to join the water polo club in hopes of getting the old Kiyomizu back. He’s the one who knows about Kiyomizu’s past and got really worried when Kiyomizu’s old water polo club members revealed that he could not remember anything after the accident.
Eitaro has a very persistent personality which often makes him look very annoying. In terms of playing water polo, Minato likes to follow certain tactics and is very smart. Eitaro has a manipulative nature that he used against Kiyomizu just because he wanted him to be in the water polo club. He even lied to Kiyomizu that he used to know him but later, he told Kiyomizu the truth.
3. Jo Jojima
Jo Jojima is the Captain of the water polo club that Kiyomizu has joined. He, along with Eitaro, forced Kiyomizu to join the water polo club because he knew the potential that Kiyomizu holds. He’s pretty good at playing water polo in the team’s current state.
The best thing about Jo is that he never gives up and is highly persuasive. He’s also very loud and outgoing, making him a pure extrovert. He often looks carefree and playful but when it comes to things that are important to him, like water polo, he gets all serious. Jo does not think about his actions before actually carrying them out, which land him in a bit of a pickle.
4. Shugo Amihama
Shugo Amihama is a brilliant student who studies in the same school as Kiyomizu. He used to be a swimmer in middle school and always wanted to be better than his older brother, who used to be in the same water polo team as Kiyomizu in the past.
Amihama’s personality is very calm and composed. He never loses his cool and is a very level-headed person. He’s quite realistic and often ends up hurting his water polo club members unintentionally. He constantly tries to get better because he’s very competitive.
5. Takekazu Ejiri
Takekazu Ejiri is the kind of boy who will not think before punching anyone’s face. He’s very quick to fight and often pompous with his skills. His confidence really is on another level.
Ejiri is very loud and is always up for a fight because of his hot-headed nature. Despite his nasty temper, he still cares about his fellow club members a lot.
6. Yutaka Babayaro Inomata
Yutaka Babayaro is a half-Japanese, half-Nigerian High School Student who studies in the same school as the rest of his water polo club members.
Despite his intimidating height, there is kindness in his eyes. He’s an extremely gentle and soft individual who cares for his friends more than anyone else. He’s always ready to help his friends and always comforts them, radiating positivity everywhere.
7. Yoshiharu Ushimado
Yoshiharu Ushimado is a timid little guy who is really bad at expressing his true feelings in front of everyone. He has the shortest height among all of the members of the water polo club.
He does not have many friends and is a true introvert. His voice is hardly audible because he’s extremely shy when he’s interacting with anyone. Ushimoda also likes to stay out of the limelight and any unwanted attention because of his reclusive nature.
